RV-College-of-Engineering is located in Bangalore and is a private technical co-educational college. It was founded in 1963.It has 11 departments in engineering, one school in architecture, and a Master of Computer Applications department. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education and all its departments are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. It comprises of departments like Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Functional areas of management, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management and Quantitative Models for decision making on the whole. It was also offered Post Graduate program in Master of Engineering Management in the year 2011 - 12. Infrastructure wise, it has a lush green campus, and each branch has its own building. It also has a lawn, a tennis court, an indoor basketball stadium, an indoor badminton court and all the indoor game facilities. It is not suitable for party freaks because such is the locality of the campus. Its Campus surroundings are very good and the Wi-Fi connectivity is quite good overall. It provides the best course curriculum. It is spread over 51 acres of land. There Ramps and lifts are also a part of their campus on the whole. One of the best parts is that their Classrooms are provided with multimedia projectors and internet facilities. Not only this. all the academic blocks have secured Wi-Fi connectivity.

BMS College of Engineering that is located in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru was Founded in the year 1946 is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is managed by B.M.S Educational Trust and It was founded by B S Narayana, son of educationist B M Sreenivasaiah. Campus placement wise, one of the plus points is that more than 300 companies visit the campus every year. Hence the students have a higher chance of getting placed into a core company. It is also certain that more than 50% of the students are placed from one department. It has well-lit and air-conditioned classrooms in general.  The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and its Labs are updated with the latest equipment along with having a big indoor stadium for sports like badminton, basketball, TT, carrom board, and chess. It has More than 50 faculty members have completed their PhDs and have great experience in teaching and the student to faculty ratio is 50:1. The college conducts 2 events every year known as Phase Shift, and the second one is the college fest known as Utsav which is the best fest in Bangalore. Average package offered was about 6.2 LPA which is the best as compared to some of the other colleges in Bangalore. It also has the biggest IEEE chapter in south India.

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is located in MSR Nagar, Bengaluru and is an autonomous co-educational college. It is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and was Founded in 1962. It offers Structural, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Computer Applications and Industrial Drives, VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, Computer Network, Computer Science Engineering courses to name a few from the M. Tech Programs. The college has around 46 industrial collaborations, and has a record of getting the students with 95% placement out of all the companies that come to place students. It has some of the C companies like Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Cisco, IBM, JP Morgan that offer placements. The curriculum is always according to the current scenario in the market. There are labs for computer Science, CAED, chemistry, physics and many more. There are 3 to 4 libraries in the college and separate libraries as well for each department with a huge collection of books and even e-books which people tend to enjoy a lot. There are around 10 to 12 teachers for every class of 70 students. The college organises Udbhav is a great cultural extravaganza and the campus has nice surroundings and greenery. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It is one of the best and top accredited engineering colleges in Bengaluru and recognized by the AICTE and was recently accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. It offers Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems etc to name a few. It celebrates many fests like Parichay, its Intra Department Cultural activities called Pantheon which is more like Inter College Cultural activities, Gestion - MBA Department technical Fest named Symposium where people really participate in huge numbers. The college has Very courteous office staffs that help Principals overall. It offers a total of 22 courses. The college has two canteens, one small court, and a big playground which is very restrictive in terms of usage. The college has its own multi-purpose gym, clean hostel and classrooms along with an auditorium and sports complex with the labs and library that are quite well-furnished. The students here are also offered placements with a package of 12 LPA. There are Companies like Accenture, Wipro that offer placements to students in this college. Acharya Institute of Technology which is a private co-educational engineering and management college was founded in the year 2000. It is not only affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University but also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. It offers eleven undergraduate courses and eight postgraduate courses. It organises one of the largest festivals in Bangalore which is the Acharya Habba, an annual 2 days long inter-collegiate cultural festival. So as to apply for postgraduate, The Deccan Herald considers AIT to be one of the "notable" colleges. It offers Automobile, Bio Technology, Computer Science, Information Science. Civil, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering courses to name a few. The college has comfortable and spacious labs. Its classrooms, Library is big enough. New Horizon College of Engineering is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade & National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It was established in 2001. It offers Computer Application and IT, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering Courses for its various undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It organises Sargam which is an annual state level inter collegiate cultural fest organized by New Horizon Educational Institution is conducted in the college once a year. The companies like TCS, Deloitte, KPMG, and many others also offer good salary packages. The faculty explains the concepts clearly, and they are well-qualified. The college has good washrooms, digital library, well-equipped computer labs and all other facilities which are too good There are sports facilities and good hi-tech labs. There are also high-speed Wi-Fi connections, and the classrooms are fully equipped here. The stipend offered by Wipro was in between Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per month. The campus is good and very engaging. Every semester, the college must organise extracurricular activities for students that is lacking. The faculty is very helpful, knowledgeable, and very supportive. The campus is not only very clean but also has a good aura, and the music systems were awesome in the auditorium. On the whole, the event comprises of a crowd of more than 5,000 people with more than 25 colleges participating in the activities of the fest. It is usually a 2-day fest.

CMR Institute of Technology is located in ITPL Main Rd, Bengaluru, India. It is is a private engineering college that is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is accredited with A+ by the NAAC. One of the most famous things this college is known for is that the highest salary package of 18lakh per annum is currently offered by VMware.  The average package is around 4.5 Lacs p. a. For placements, the companies that come here include VM ware, Huawei, Sony, Delloite, HP, TCS, BOSCH, eurofins. There is campus Wi-Fi along with stocked library with around 18500 physical books and a large number of E books also. The canteen is awesome all together. It comprises of fast food, fresh juices, salads etc. There are Hostel rooms that are fine and have mess, Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. One of the most awaited annual events is the CULTURA in which 52 events are conducted and students from many other colleges along with the CMRITians take part actively. The Teaching quality is excellent and the college organises many interactive classes, PPT sessions, coding sessions along with the regular classes along with many industrial trips. The course curriculum in this college plays a great role in your career by making you well versed with all the concepts both theoretically and practically.

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology which offers courses that include Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering was Founded by M.H.Jayprakash Narayan in 1979. It named after Dr B. R. Ambedkar. It is one of the oldest colleges and it is an institute that is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is accredited by AICTE. The faculty to student ratio is good here. Exposure to the industry is quite low overall and its autonomous curriculum is quite challenging. Among the other numerous events that are conducted in this college, Sunsktuthi and Kalarava are the main events of the college. The campus is small overall. The sports complex is like a shed in the corner and there is also a good mobile network is also low inside the campus. Labs are well-equipped and have versatile instruments here. The college provides Wi-Fi facility, but does not have good signal strength. There is also a well-furnished library with a lot of books in this college. The classrooms are not well-maintained or cleaned. The teachers are experienced with more than 25 years of teaching and the library is good, open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. There is no great sports complex but the college organises Two big fests that are organised every year. There are also separate branch fests celebrated every month.

BNM Institute of Technology which is accredited by NAAC A (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) was founded in the year 2001. It is located at 12th Main Road, 27th Cross, Banashankari Stage II, Banashankari. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It celebrates different events like college day ethnic day, send off day, same day, Yoga day, Teachers day, Fresher's day for the students. It is a Very decent college with good environment to study. Its placements just keep getting better as year passes. About 60-70% of the students who are eligible get placed. The placement cell needs to get better in terms of inviting companies that provide higher packages for non-computer science branches mainly mechanical. The infrastructure and the basic enmities are really good. The Wi-Fi facility is given only through procedural permission and the teachers in the college are extremely good in this college. They complete all the portion in time for finals and the children are exposed to writing and publishing papers and the overall industrial exposure still needs improvement and while the course curriculum is useful in some subjects, this is not the case in some other subjects. The Faculty to student ratio is 1:65. The average package is around 4 LPA. One of the key parts to remember is that every student needs to be really good at your programming skills no matter which branch you belong to.
