For almost  decade now this segment of cars has been ruled by Honda's City.Volkswagen Vento Magnific 1.5 TDI Highline, though now comes up with a very good challenge! The car boasts dual front airbags, adjustable power steering, height adjustable driver seat-adding extra comfort for the driver, alloy wheels, garmin navigation device-which helps with directions in a new place and vento scuff plates.

The braking and handling is also excellent as it comes with font disc brakes and drum brakes at the rear! Overall, trendy body design and spacious internal cabin with impressive comfort features makes it a car worth having!

Performance par excellence

When 2 years back it was almost newly launched in certain parts of India, My dad had got this car from Kolkata as there was no das auto showroom in bhubaneswar. This car is a bomb and the performance is par excellence.

The comfortability level shared in this car is much more better than any other model within a 15 lakh range and the leg space is one of the best in the market. Least servicing needed and the technology is at its best. Right at the moment of buying you will fall in love with the touch pad of the music system in front and the anti locking system keeps the car always on a safer side and the matt finished colour looks as great as it can be. If you are planning to buy a luxury car then go for this and I’m pretty sure you wont be ever disappointed for this.

Have a test drive and get to know the rest. Thumbs up for this car. Have it and never leave it is the feeling that we get from this car

Quality Speaks....
Apr 25, 2015 08:13 PM 35477 Views

As we all know that Volkswagen is a German company and Germans are know for there Quality. This is no exception, Volkswagen Vento provides you with highest quality standards within its price range.

It's built quality is quite robust, whilst maintaining its elegant look. Fuel efficiency is good around 15kmpl in city for petrol variant and 20kmpl for diesel one. But the performance of diesel engine is better than that of petrol.

Ground clearance is good, making drive easy on Indian roads. Boot space is awesome which is much needed in a luxury car. One thing needs to be remembered before buying, i.e., its maintenance cost, which is quite high.

Overall great car, worth buying. Price range is 7.7- 11.5 Lacs.

THE COOL AND COMFORTABLE!!!
Apr 25, 2015 06:59 PM 36084 Views

The European car manufacturer Volkswagen delivers a masterpiece by building a well built, robust sedan, Vento. The clean, cool and comfortable sedan with contemporary styling with some superb boot space, Vento has just attracted many customers towards it.

It comes at a price range of Rs.7.77 - 11.53 lakhs

: Powerful diesel engine being the torque king of this segment

: It has a mature suspension setup with some extreme power generation

: It comes in loaded with some sharp gizmos such as Automatic Climate Control and many more

Its just so awesome and is considered to be the jack of all trades

Versatile Vento Diesel (TDi)

About German Cars:

Germans are incredibly good at what they do.Their cars like Audi, BMW and Benz have always been a part of everyone's dream. Cars gain their position on the world market due to quality, The key to the superior performance in German vehicles is the engine design. Some people in India have considerable fears in acquiring one.

The main factor that contributes to this fear is the poor after sales support. That's true when it comes to Volkswagen in India. They build quality cars but failed in providing quality service.Probably it may improve when service network increases.

This is all about German cars, but there are few more reasons to narrow down to Vento.

Why Vento:

I was looking for a decent sedan for my parents in C segment. I had only three options. Verna Fluidic CRDI, Vento and Rapid. Other C segment cars like  SX4, Linea, Fiest were not in list due to many factors.Verna was out of focus since we already own it.

Finally, Rapid and Vento were in list.  Skoda's offers were very lucrative and it was bit cheaper than Vento, though both cars are same with little difference in headlamps and tail lamps, Rapid wins marginally in all aspects compared to Vento. Good suspension, better handling.Only major drawback is the service.

At Skoda showroom, the salesman approach was not pleasant, On display only while color, no other colors available.when I ask for other colors offered in Rapid, he took us to repair section where some crashed Rapid were parked. I had been to showroom to see the brand new cars, not crashed one. Disappointed.

I didn't drop the ideal of buying the Rapid just because of this experience, also the worst after sales service which I came to know during my visit to the showroom.   I got a chance to interact with the customer who came to get their car serviced were treated badly.

Then, only option left was the Vento.

Get into the Car:

Press the unlock button, pull the door handle, it opens in three stage, you feel the heaviness while opening the doors. You can easily get into the car, that means, Ingress/egress is easy for a person like me with 5'6" height. Vento's interiors are not swanky, No curves, no waterfall design. It just plain grey dashboard. looks solid with its superior plastic in  typical German way.Gaps between the panels are uniform.Beige interior helps to improve the light inside the car and it is best matched with the gray color dashboard. All the control buttons are easily accessible as the center panel is slightly tilted towards the driver.

I wish that the multi-functional information display should have been little more bigger to display following.

MFD displays the

Travelling Time,

Distance Traveled,

Digital Speed Display,

Average Speed,

Speed Limit Warning,

Fuel Efficiency,

Distance to empty,

Fuel gauge.

Service Interval,

Outside Temperature & Clock.

Gear Indicator.(up-shift/downshift)

It gives bell sound(Warning) When the distance to empty falls below 90KM. it warns every time you switch on the ignition to remind you for the refuel. You can select either distance to empty or fuel efficiency  mode for your convenience. But fuel efficiency mode will not work if the DTE falls below 90KM. Gear change recommendations are accurate for the most part either up-shift or downshift.

Telescopic Steering with up and down  adjustable.Horn pad is not that sensitive need the wrist support to blow the horn.Rear A/C vent to cool the passenger to some extent, No way to turn it off if there are no passenger at the rear side. Not happy with  the positioning of  front A/C vents,  the air throw is almost upward even they are set at lowest position. I expect this to be  at the chest level for the front passenger.

Front Arm rest becomes useless while driving around the city where you need to use the handbrake frequently. I always pull it upward position, but it is very comfortable on long drive. It also have storage compartment to keep the currency or toll receipts. Glove box is big enough to keep your car's documents/cords/charger/PND. Coin holder and little storage within the box is really convenient to keep the currency & coins for Toll and parking places.Storage provision in all 4 doors, front door compartment are big enough to hold 1 litre bottle.

Music system with USB is not great, but does its duty. Within a week, I replaced it with JVC-BT-70. To my surprise, stock speakers are proved to be good for medium bass, if you are enthusiastic about music, go for high performance speakers. Electric ORVM control on driver side door handle, control Knob(joystick) feels very delicate to use, I used Verna's 4-way adjust button was very  impressive and accurate.  Electric Boot release button is located at lower part of driver side door. Boot can also be opened with Remote control by press and hold for 2 -seconds.

Front seats are not very comfortable, I felt lower part of spine needs little more padding, Rear seats are more comfortable with enough legroom. Raised hump is inconvenient for the 5th passenger in the middle. All four Windows are Anti-pinch protection, safety system prevent the windows from closing in even by the slightest obstruction of the hand. It is very useful safety feature when the kids are on-board.Rear windows can't be rolled down completely.

There is no individual lock/unlock button for doors.Single manual lock button for all doors is available at driver side door. remember, Doors always unlocked from inside, locked from outside. VW claims this is a safety feature allows the passenger to exit from the car in case of accidents.Doors can be opened while running, Be alert if there are kids on-board. I always gives instructions to the parents to take care of their kids avoid playing with door release lever. It is become habit of using the button to close the doors. No doors can be opened from outside even the Fuel lid.Windows can be rolled up using remote button by press and hold the lock button. speed sensing door lock option is available with High-line model.

Headlight are operated from the switch housed on right side of the dash board. Turn right, the first stage switches on the parking light. Second stage for Headlamps, Fog lamps? Yes, it is integrated in the same switch, you need to pull the switch once(only in 1st or 2nd stage), it turns on the fog-lamp, second stage for the rear(right side) fog lamp. There is only one reverse lamp on left side.

Wipers:

You can't pull out the right side wiper, bonnet will obstruct. If you want to pull the wipers to wash the windshield, Turn on and off the ignition switch and press the wiper stalk once, the wipers moves and stop at the center(Service mode), now they can be pulled out.

Let us drive:

Insert the key in slot, and crank-up the engine. 1.6L engine wakes up with certain amount of clutter, but subsides when the engine warm up. During the idle  engine settles at 800RMP. press the accelerator, the clutter sound reduces further. Still you can actually hears diesel motor's heart beats within cabin.Gear shifting is bit heavy, but manageable. Release the clutch, it start moving without pressing the accelerator pad. Thanks to the high torque.

I really feel the power when I put it in third gear and accelerate the engine, it just fly.I love the engine response. No complaints about the clutch.Soft tuned suspensions are good at high speed. Rear passengers can hear the suspension doing its work.At lower speed, it makes thud sound while passing over the sharp hump, 168mm ground clearance do not pose any threat for the car. I yet to test this while car is loaded with 5-people. The max speed I tested was 140KM/h. Car was planted on road, taking all uneven road surface. No swinging effect at the rear side. Feel more confident at higher speed. The steering is very light and good for the parking speed, I wish it would have been little stiff while cruising above 100KM/h

Torque:

"Horsepower sells cars, But Torque moves the car". Vento offers amazing torque of 250 Nm from 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm with 105BHP. Technically, the Torque is the tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis, example: If you have a 1-foot-long wrench and you put a force of 10 pounds on other end of it to rotate the nut. Vento's torque helps you to reduce the frequent gear change in city drive.

It delivers the sufficient power as you press the accelerator. Negligible turbo lag, 105 BHP power with 250NM torque keeps the smile on your face. Turbo kicks at about 1600 RPM.At the speed of 100KM/H in 5th gear, the RMP settles at 2000. cabin is almost silent. Tyre and wind noise from "A" pillar is not transmitted to the cabin.(This kind of noise I noticed in my Verna transform.) Just press the accelerator, hidden power is delivered without much strain. No lag is noticed. Gear shift indicator in MFD indicates which gear you are in and advice to up shift or down shift based on the speed.

Mileage: Instant mileage detail is available in MFD, it starts with 11km/L and it increases as you drive. In city For about 5-6 km, it shows 15km/l.Sometimes it touched 16 also. On highway, it touches 23km/l.(My swift being 1.3lt was giving 25km/l). I am currently relying on the MFD stats, I yet to test the full-tank to confirm.

Cons:

1.Logos on front and rear side can be easily removed, I have lost both logos while parking in front of house. These logos are available at ebay half the price. I stick them with feviquick in such a way that there is no room to insert sharp object like knife to remove them.

  1. Absence of Inside door locking knob.

3.If the cranking fails or engine stops in the middle, one has to turn the key back to OFF position and turn it ON.

4.Spare wheel is  a 14 inch size. 175/70 R14 Tyre.Overall diameter matches with the regular 15" Tyre.Only High line comes with set of 4 alloy wheel.

Accessories fitted.

Alloy wheels: Set of 4 wheels(EVO - INR 23000)

Steering wheel grip: Stanley leather hand stitched(INR 2500) Look very premium and comfortable.

Audio system: Replaced stock audio system with JVC BT70. Excellent performance with stock speakers.

Door sill: 4 Doors(INR 800) Technician refused to fit the illuminated door sill(LED) as it voids the warranty also the wiring is not that easy.

Seat cover: Dolphin brand, fabric covers( INR 6800) felt bit expensive but better than PU based  covers.

Door mat: Purchased Curly Flooring Matt which is PVC based from home furnishing shop and cut according to required size.It is ideal dirt trapper, easy to

clean and long lasting.(INR 600).

Bottom Line:

Vento is truly'amazing', very practical car and it is value for money. Check the VIN number.(https://myvehicledetails.com) to confirm the manufacture date. Sometime, dealer can allocate display car. Service interval is at every 15000Km. They offer free service at 7000KM, which cost you a liter of engine oil in which they approximately use 700ML for top-up and return remaining oil.

Worst sedan with bad after sales & service
Mar 29, 2015 08:55 AM 37333 Views (via Android App)

I bought Vento Konnect badly disappointed with my decision. When gave for service they do not clean the interiors. The ground clearance is very poor and also very bad front seats.

It had created severe back pane after driving. Would not recommend anyone to buy this vehicle. Person seating in front and rear feel sunken and very difficult to come out.

Please look for better choice in market.

I love their customer service. Great dealership, fuel consumption, good interior and exterior looks. Driving is very easy, strong engine although fuel consumption is a bit high. I suggest that someone looking for a long term car to grow old with should buy this car.

Maintenance is not so bad once you get the hang of it

Vento is fuel injector defect car
Mar 11, 2015 12:10 PM 44391 Views

The most worst car of all times. lot of isssues with fuel injectors. company always blames on deisel and not replcing fuel injecors for free of cost. first two years everyone will be happy customers of vento. after that everyone will face issues with fuel injecotrs. pls dont buy this car. I am writing with my self experience. volkswagen not cares about coustomer after selling products. service people are ridiculous all over. if you want to feeel the heat of volkswagen cars . buy them and enjoy the heat.

Fuel injectors cost you 95000 and the Engine mount in the car is very delicate that will surely break in 1 year and costs you 5000, brake pads will lost for only two years this costs you 10000 rupees. so in two years of time you should invest other 2 lakhs on vento.this may not happen to all customers. but surely many of vento owners are facing these issues in car.

Please think before you buy this car. Thank you.

Bought second hand car from this dealer. Would never suggest him to anyone. as he is a fraud . promises the sky and fails to deliver . also cars are very expensively priced. Total avoid.

Worst service and cars and this man traps you to buy by being sweet and friendly.

Quite a pathetic service......
Jan 28, 2015 09:25 PM 45100 Views

With the brand marketing of Das Auto(and having used a VW in Germany in 1999), I jumped to buy a Vento from Bangalore dealer on Hosur Road. All looked good till the payments were made and car was handed over.

There were so many defective things, which were loosely fixed with lot of rude and careless service management team. The offers made in the purchase cycle were eye-washes(like Insurance of 32K turned out to be just 18K), the car was more than a year old(lying in their warehouse) with many parts still failing(like front glass has a crack, front window does not open at times).

The worst part was the apathy with which the VW dealer as well as their Call Center treated the problems. I think they have NO concept of any service or customer care. Once you buy it, you are all alone with your car.

Would want the people to be careful while choosing VW.

Discovered Features - Vento HL
Dec 29, 2014 08:24 PM 38613 Views

IGNITION

Slotting the key in the ignition is a little difficult when the steering lock is engaged, one has to turn the steering wheel with effort to slot in the key - Annoying.

If the cranking fails, one has to go back to switch off position and redo rather than from the intermediary position(true of TDi) – annoying in traffic.

DOOR LOCK

Auto Lock feature – HL and AT Ventos have the speed linked auto lock feature. The doors auto lock when the car crosses 15 kmph( This can be enabled at the workshop if not already done at the time of delivery).

Got a confirmation that the doors can unlock automatically on removal of car keys from ignition too

Doors always “unlocked” from the inside – Unless child lock is enabled(applicable for rear doors) the doors stay unlocked from the inside.

As VW says this is a safety feature allowing faster exit from the car in case of accidents. The locks, including child lock, unlock automatically on impact in case of accidents to enable rescue from outside

Remote Locking – Can be done either silently or with the horn honking. Visit to the workshop is required to change it from one to the other.

Locks with Memory – If one tries to lock the doors(manually or through remote) when one of the 4 doors are opened, the lock does not get engaged however the car does remember the instruction so that once the open door is shut the lock gets engaged without any further press of the manual / remote button – the confirmation of the same is through either the glowing of the “lock engaged” button on the driver’s side or through short bursts of the indicator lamps.

I am quoting Noop’s practical example which would help illustrate this in a beautiful way – “Say you need to get shopping out of the back seat and have your hands full to lock the car. What do you do? Simple.

Lock the car BEFORE you close that last door(it will lock with a click, not the horn-honk) and then collect your stuff and kick the door closed.

It will give you the "locked" horn-honk/blink blink signal! I love this feature since my daughter sometimes dozes off in the back on longer trips and I can just pick her up in my arms and lock the door this way! “

Boot lock/unlock – The boot can be independently opened using the remote while all the other doors are locked – no need to unlock the car for opening the boot.

Unlocking the boot activates the boot light which glows for a certain time duration only(around 15 min I think) beyond which the boot has to be opened and closed again.

Motion Sensor – Prevents someone from locking his/her kid(s) inside the car . It also would sound out an alarm if anyone tries to cut the car window to steal stuff, pretty effective!

REMOTE LOCK.

Windows can be rolled up/down from a distance – Press the “lock’ button and hold it down to roll up the windows from a distance.

Press the “unlock” button and hold it down to roll down the windows. Useful if you have parked the car in a hot place and would want to allow the hot air to get out of the car as you walk towards it or if you get caught in a sudden shower and would like to roll up the windows

Lights(Headlight / Parking / Indicator / Cabin Lights)

All lights(including cabin lights) except parking lights gets switched off when locks are armed using the remote lock, great relief for those souls who have blown up a few batteries through their forgetfulness.

I believe that the parking lights also turn off after a while though I haven’t been able to check that.

If you pull out the key from the ignition key hole with the lights on, there is an audible warning beep.

If one switches off the car’s ignition with the indicator lights on (i.e. the indicator stalk is engaged to show that one is taking a turn) and arms the remote lock, the parking lights would remain on.

AC

The blower switch needs to be turned a few twitches more for the AC to be power off.

The AC starts with a noticeable lag which allows sufficient time for the driver to crank the engine and only then is the AC switched on.

This is a very useful feature as it ensures that the AC does not drain battery power and gets switched on only after the engine is running. Of course this can be manually overridden if anyone so wishes.

The car remembers the last AC settings prior to switching off and starts off with exactly the same settings when the car starts.

MID

MID2 does not reset unless the MID2 is held down for a few seconds. Along with with MID 1, which resets on inactivity of 2 hours, this option adds a few possibilities.

Time of travel – It measures the time the engine has been on and does not count any time it would have been switched off( Mumbai-Goa journey – if you stop for an hour to take lunch, the MID would discount it and the same would get built into avg speed, etc).

Top right corner displays the recommended gear for the speed, this pretty much optimizes FE if followed prudently - true of manual too

WIPER

7 speed - The 7 levels are single wipe, Low(4 speeds), Medium & High . Very useful speed levels for tackling the monsoons especially the 4 low speed graded options when in erratic weather.

HANDBRAKE

There is a clear audible beep if the handbrake is not cleanly dis-engaged and one starts moving the car – Useful feature as most handbrakes have some play in the last 1-2 inch.

SPARE WHEEL

The spare wheel is kept upside down - so if one has to check the pressure the entire unit has to be taken out which is silly.

POWER WINDOWS

The power windows(all 4) continue to operate till anyone opens any of the doors:

A. even after one switches off the ignition.

B. even after one removes the key from the ignition slot.

Enthusiast To Drive,Good To Be Chauffer Driven
Dec 18, 2014 09:51 PM 50868 Views

Hii everyone, This is HIMANSHU PAWAR from Ahmednagar. I recently bought a Volkswagen Vento on 16 Jan 2014, Being an automobile engineer it was a great deal for me to choose a good car which fits in my budget and also with comfort and convenience.

I, firstly was having tata manza which was 3 years old till the time I bought VENTO. So the day I sold the tata manza and the search began for a new car. I went to many showrooms out here in my city, and I took test rides of various cars  and I felt the following pros and cons for those cars.

Firstly I had been to the skoda showroom to test ride the rapid so I felt following

Pros about rapid -:Excellent ride quality, good comfort, good stability at highway, good mileage, great built quality,

Cons about rapid-:After sales service was not good as my friend is having rapid so he told me this thing. The showroom here is like a small shop having a small car which hardly fits into it and the showroom here is like some false company working which opens and closes as per its wish.

Sometime in rush we are hardly able to find the showroom and the parts are also costly as compared to rest.so 3.5 stars for rapid.

HONDA CITY 1.5 diesel-:

Pros about city -:Good looks, good honda can be nowhere mistaken about it space, good mileage, sunroof is a good function but we hardly are able to get out of it, and good speed balance up to 140 km/hr but starts wobbling after that,

Cons about city-:The alloy wheels seems small according to me honda should have worked more on wheels. There is no proper insulation in cabin I mean there is lot of noise coming inside the cabin. For this honda should have given 6 gears.

Suspensions feel too bumpy at low speed. Built quality is not as good as the German rivals the rapid and the vento after sales service is also pathetic.

And plastic quality doesn't match the German rivals in short you can hardly compare the Japanese Honda with the Germans Vento and rapid in built quality interior quality, ride quality and power.so 4 stars for city.

HYUNDAI VERNA 1.6 sx-:

Pros about verna-:Great looks, refined engine, interior looks good, and many good features at a good price range, silent ride and good insulation.

cons of verna-:We get cup seats at rear so its bit hard to sit and get up from seat, ride quality in this is also bumpy along with suspension noise.

Window line is too high so we feel claustrophobic. Due to soft suspensions the car hits the ground in potholes or at speed breakers. Built quality is satisfactory as compared to Germans. So 3.5 stars for verna because design isn't everything.

VOLKSWAGEN VENTO 1.6 HIGHLINE-:

Pros about vento-: Descent looks typically a german, great plastic quality inside, leather upholstery feels premium and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob feels classy.

Excellent ride quality and high speed stability. Great built quality.

You suddenly get a surge of power whenever you just put your foot on the pedal, the steering feels absolutely light, the safety system which has immobilizer along with floating code is great.

Anti pinch windows are some of the very good features, ground clearance is more as compared to city or verna. The sound system is excellent as compared to others, good overall efficiency of over 18.5 to 19 kmpl.

Rear seat space and comfort is very good, which gives very comfy ride for long journeys, also has a under body cover which prevents the damage of under body parts from ground, overall its a very great package.

Where you feel enthusiast to drive the car and also you feel good to be chauffeur driven.

Cons about vento-: Volkswagen should have given 15" spare wheel but unfortunately it gave 14" wheel due to cost saving factor. The Volkswagen service here in Ahmednagar (JAIMALHAR VOLKSWAGEN) is not good the dealer himself is always doing big frauds in deals and never keeps his word.

So I took my car from Aurangabad where the service I got was excellent and after sales experience was also good. My car has done 15700 kms has completed its first servicing and still I faced no problem from it, so overall 4.5 stars for vento.

My Vento Highline TDI - 90,000kms ODO Report
Nov 09, 2014 02:48 PM 41146 Views

Just a brief report on my ownership after 90K kms on the ODO

Purchased in: Dec'2011

from: Ramani Cars, Madurai(Tamil Nadu)

Color: Candy White

Engine Spec: 1.6L TDI

This car has been one of the best cars Ive owned till date(Santro-Palio D- Swift D - Dzire D and now this & a Punto 90HP).

What I like most-

1) The power - the car is so torquey, it pulls up from any gear with ease. drive this car around any ghats and that's where the Swifts will be thrown out to crap. Turbo lag is not very prominent like in the other cars compared to the Verna, Swift, Sunny, etc.

2) Fuel Efficiency - My driving patterns 90% Highway - 10% City - the car returns on an average 17.5 - 18.5 kmpl, the worst I've got till date is 15 kmpl - only on one instance, the best I've got is 20.2 kmpl - only once. I think its pretty decent enough. I'm not a hard driver, but I downshift a lot to keep engine breaking optimum.

3). Steering Feel - a lot of people crib of the steering as it is a EPS, but somehow I like it this way, you dont get feedback on the steering, but then it does what you want it too without any fuss.

4). Build - German engineering they say & its very evident all over, its rock solid, even after 90K there are only a few creeking noises.(my Swift & dzire rattled a lot when they reached 70K and the service guys could never understand when I was asking them to fix it)

What I dont like-

  1. Handling - though it is good enough for its standards, its still no match to the Ford Fiesta's handling

  2. Altering the ICE - I tried altering the OE HU and the car electronics started going crazy, that's when I learned about CAN bus, etc. though Ive altered it now, hard to learn the hardway taking the car to the service center & my installer many times.

  3. Comfort - its got space to fit you in cozy, but the seats aren't very comfortable and my car came with the fabric upholstery and they get dirty real quick, I had to do a seat cover just to cover up the dirt now.

  4. Consumes Brakes & Tyres - Every 30K and this car eats away my brake pads and tyres( the good ones I put on it). Ive put the Michelin XM2, and its run 45K, but I just dont like the comfort and grip on them.

Regarding service, I stick to the intervals mentioned by VW and the Madurai service guys have always done a good job on my car, its top notch and I really like the way the service center works, it is really organized. Ive never seen any garage with a final inspection center, where they check whether all work mentioned is carried out - there is a bay just to check before the car is ready for delivery. I've never seen one in the Hyundai, Maruti / FIAT service centers.

Cost of service is on the higher side comparative to the others, I dont know how to judge them on that, I feel that as you go higher up the car grade scale, service costs also escalate.(as per my list of cars). it works to almost spending a Rupee more per km, compared to my Maruti's.

Plan to retain this car for another 30K kms, the first time I ever intend to keep a car this long, I only hope it gives me the same pleasure as my first 90K.

You've got to own this to feel it. It's the best I've had.

Bad Experience with Volkswagen Vento
Oct 13, 2014 01:31 PM 66183 Views

Please note that I own a Volkswagen Vento and I would like to bring to every ones notice that the Service team of this car is just horrible, Service cost is very high.

My car had a break down last week 180 km away from Bangalore and no service team is ready to help us out. If we call Bangalore Motors Pvt Ltd who used to service my car they ask us to take it to the near by service center and they comment that it is the clients issue and they not ready to take any responsibility.

People who are planning to buy Volkswagen Vento. Please be care full since service is going to be very expensive you will not have any assistance during the break down and service quality is just going to be horrible.

Good Luck to every one how own this Car.

Most uncomfortable rear seats
Sep 16, 2014 08:44 PM 52735 Views (via Android App)

I have recently purchased vento highline diesel. I regret I just went by Co.  Reputation without test driving on rear seat sitting. I have found the rear seats most uncomfortable in the segment. It is like sitting on a non reclining seat in aircraft.

I have raised the issue with vv but no response. I understand that in case there are more than 100 complaints in the segment the manufacturer has to call back the vehicle. I am sure so many others must be facing the same problem but are not complaining.  I request all of the buyers to join with me and fight for the consumer right.

Volkswagen Vento suspension problem start coming up. While driving the Some of the common problems with Volkswagen Vento suspension include worn out shock absorbers. In ideal condition, when Volkswagen Vento is pressed from a corner, the car would bounce only a couple of times. Another common Volkswagen Vento suspension problem is that it appears low in height at certain time. This means that the suspension springs are supposed to be replaced. There are various reasons causing the Volkswagen Vento suspension noise. Some of them are worn out joints and worn suspension bushings
