I am quite satisfied with the ovearall experience of the car.

Pros>Awesome looks, best value for money car, stands out in crowds, I have done long drives of 500+ kms in a day and you will not get tired, very comfortable to drive in the auto mode. Suspension is responsive and it has high ground clearance for you to tackle the rough roads with ease. Bright headlamps for night drives and very effective braking too.

Big boot space to carry all your luggage, Awesome music and infotainment system from Harman. Car is quite stable even at high speeds and above all a safe and solid car for your family.

The after sales service experience has also been very good for me although I have heard people complaining about TATA service.

Cons>It is not recommended to overtake at high speeds when you are driving in auto mode. You can switch to manual mode for overtaking though. Rest all is good about this car.

I would strongly recommend this car for the families.

I bought my tigor 2021.within a year the situation arised to repair the vehicle under insurance.Gave it in Laxmi tata service omr.They told wil update in 3 days.after even after calling them for 3 weeks from my side they just kept postponing and finally they called me 1 day saying that the work got over.And finally when i reached the they incompletely did the work.After making me wait for 1 hour they returned my car back.the next day only saw so many scratches and dents around the car.Am terribly dissappointed buying tata car.

Car may be good but if any problem comes tata service center wil damage your car

After watching so much of the reviews..Got the top end version of Tigor and now that is the worst nightmare that could happen, left me in irrecoverable depression.

I am listing down what is unsaid.

1. Scratch PRONE The layer of painting applied is very very poor. Poor resistance against scratches. Even a normal rub will end up in lot of scratches.. it will peel off with ur nails ..If u scrub with it..Cost cutting but really really irritating. Why do spend so much of hard money to see a car getting delivered with wiping scratches. I checked and confirmed with all know buyers and it exists

   
   




2. Magnet of dust..Dust prone..A similar color on a Hyundai/maruthi will be less dusty that Tata..The dust residues on the paint rather than blown off in wind

   
   




3. DISHONEST MILEAGE most crucial and important ..Mileage displayed is too much exaggerated. All the review videos convey less than 10 percent error. But in actual its a clear margin..It adds 3km more the actual mileage .So if the display shows 15 its 12, 20 its near to 17. A very dishonest measure by TATA.

   
   

4.The rear glass has poor visibility over dust and rain

1. LOW LIGHT THROW Though projected lamps, the light is not bright enough to drive confident under pitch darkness..

6.Racing above hundred...The force could be felt inside.

1. A small push on the accelerator ur instant mileage will not go beyond half

Helloo guys , these is about the car tata tigor .these car is one of the best car . The cars interior is very nice . the the dash board is also nice . The car has good features like it has the reverse camera . It helps us very much. The car seats have artificial leather . The car is 5 seater car . The car is good for long drive. The car has a big louch screen give inside the car . The back seats of the car are very comfortable .there is good leg room at the back seat. There is cup holder in back sets of the car . Which I liked very much. The boot of the car is also enough big to keep many things. The car gives nearly 17 km / letter mileage . The magwheels of the car look very nice .the price of the car is also affordable . If think you should also take these car . Thank you .

I have a this car from last 1 year. This car is included in the top ten best mileage cars list. I have driven many cars but I think this is the best because it's giving me good Mileage with Good Comfort.

One day me and my family went to the Rojkot from Porbandar for attend my cousin's marriage. We stopped 3 times to fill the fuel tank. We reached at Rojkot in only 4 hours.

So I think if you are using car for long distance and Dail basic, if so this car is the best for you because it's giving good mileage with best comfor. When I drive this car I feel joyfully and I don't feel fatigue.

In this car there are lot of technology used and main thing is that there speaker in this car there are 8 speaker avilable in this price buget and there are two mobes in this car eco and sport mode the engine is very good there are 1.6 liter petrol engine there are comes with AMT transmission. The car style was good and up to the market and safty thera are two air beg ABD and EBD.

Tata, who has been the pioneer of the sub-four metre segment in India, had built their all-new compact sedan on the Tiago platform. Called the Tigor, it was introduced in the Indian market in 2015 and is now due for an update. The Tigor facelift will be launched on 10 October and will get revised design.

The new Tigor will continue with the same body shell but we can expect the grille to be a little bolder and the bumpers sculpted for more aggression. It will get projector headlamps and clear-lens LED tail lamps, with the latter being s segment first. A new alloy design will be certainly welcome.

Inside, the cabin layout and the dashboard will remain the same and you can expect the infotainment touchscreen system to be revised with features like Android Auto and Apple Car play along with MirrorLink. It will continue to get the power windows, power steering, air conditioning, electric mirrors and all the existing features along with a couple of probable additions.

Under the hood, expect the Tigor to continue with the same set of engines – the 1.05 litre diesel and the 1.2-litre petrol. The engines should be offered with both manual as well as AMT gearbox options to cater to the ever increasing popularity of automatics.

There might be s performance JTP version on offer as well to cater to the enthusiast segment with the 1, 2-litre mill pumping out about 120bhp of power after forced induction.

Let’s welcome the newest entry in the crowded entry level compact sedan segment. Tiago’s launch was termed as re-birth of Tata in passenger vehicle business. Now on the back of Tiago’s success, with the launch of Tigor in compact sedan segment, they are trying to make further inroads. Will the Tata’s be third time lucky is what is to be seen. This is because Tigor is their third product in this segment in the last 15 years. In fact they should be Cred824ited for creating this segment - entry level compact mid size sedan segment, when they launched the Indigo in 2002. This segment was born out of compulsion being imposed due to the government’s excise duty benefits applicable on the sub 4 meter cars. Though Tata is the segment creator, it couldn’t really capitalize on the first mover advantage. Both Indigo and later on Zest met with limited success with the former finding favour with the cab operators and the latter just been able to hit the tip of the iceberg of success.

Now it is to be seen whether Tigor will be a able to challenge the segment leader Swift Dzire, which itself is getting a much needed makeover slated for launch later this year. It will not be easy going for Tigor though as the segment is already crowded with the presence of Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent & the recently launched Volkswagen Ameo & Ford Figo Aspire. Tiago with its tagline ‘It’s Fantastico’ has been a fantastic performer, has lifted the fortunes of Tata, winning many awards and accolades, the Tigor can be a game changer as well.

Design & Features

Tigor(pronounced as Tee-Gor) is build on the Tiago platform and gets many of its design elements & features straight from its smaller sibling. The front grille and headlamps aren’t any different from Tiago with noticeable change being smoked finish and projectors added to headlights. The smiling honeycomb grille is unique and blends into the headlamps. Likewise, the ORVMs & fog lamps are same as what are there in Tiago.

Come to the sides and what is seen is a bold character line starting from the front fender, then crossing the door handles and merging into the rear tail lights. The rear doors are wider than that of Tiago making ingress and egress lot easy. The rear profile of the car is something for which I would like to applaud Tata design team. The LED tail lights & the boot simply blend into the front part of the car, clearly not looking like an afterthought what you found in the Indigo. Thick chrome strip running from end to end bring upmarket feel.

Large bumper at the rear gets a black coloured trim at the bottom to break the bulky feel & break the monotony. Tigor gets different set of tyres for Petrol & Diesel variant. While the petrol variant gets 175/65 R14 tyres, the diesel one gets 175/60 R15 tyres with the top end model also getting the diamond cut alloys as well.

The car has standard safety features of ABS(Anti-lock breaking system) and EBD(Electric brake force distribution), three point seat belt, central locking and speed sense auto lock.

Coming to the interiors, the dashboard and steering wheel column are the same as that of Tiago. The noticeable change is that while Tigor gets the piano black finish around the control finishes as against simple plastic of Tiago. Though good part is the Harman developed Car infotainment system. The touchscreen display which also acts as rear parking camera display supports the Andriod phones with quite an ease for navigation and playing music. Emergency assistance dial in & service reminders are also handy features which you get in the car. The 8 speaker equipped music system from Harman is inCred824ible.

The longer wheelbase of 2450 mm in this car makes it lot comfortable for rear passengers, providing them extra legroom. The designers have taken good care to keep bottles and knick knacks by providing 24 such points in the car. The seat upholstery though not very great, but is ok for the cars in this segment.

The boot of this car deserves to be mentioned about. The 419 litre boot has been accommodated quite brilliantly without compromising on cabin space. It has a hatch back like 4-link boot lid opening mechanism which is different from the hinge system prevalent in other cars. This design change has added to the carrying capacity at the back.

Performance

Tigor gets the same engine specs as that are available on Tiago. The 1.2 Litre Revotron Petrol and 1.05 Litre Revotorq diesel options. Both the engines have 3 cyclinders with 4 valves per cylinder and 5 speed gearbox. Automatic transmission is missing, but may come later. There are two drive modes – City & Eco available in both petrol and diesel. As name suggests, City mode enables car to caress through heavy traffic in city and delivers power on demand while Eco mode restricts additional punch on accele_45ration to deliver better fuel economy.

The petrol motor delivers 84 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 114 Nm torque @ 3500 rpm. The petrol powered car with its lower kerb weight drives effortless in city driving conditions offering better driving comfort. The engine offers quick throttle response which helps in overtaking with ease. Petrol car, as per claims gives mileage of 22 kmpl.

The diesel engine delivers 69 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 140 Nm torque at 1800-3000 rpm. The engine feels quite sluggish with low power to weight ratio. The engine is quite noisy and has high NVH levels. It needs to be pushed hard beyond 2500 rpm to get fair power but even then the car lacks pulling power. Low engine displacement, though helps improved mileage of 26 kmpl

Ride & Handling

The suspension has been tuned well to tackle the bumps and undulations of the city. The stability of the vehicle is maintained even at high speeds. The electric power steering provides easy manoeuvrability and is quite responsive. The ground clearance of 170 mm is decent, if not excellent and prevents the under body from being grazed when driven through uneven surface.

Conclusion

Car looks excellent, and unlike other models from Tata in the past, has got well proportioned shape & contours and a distinct design appeal. With the starting price of 4.7 Lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi for Petrol & 5.6 Lakhs for Diesel, it is great value for money. It will make competition think on their pricing as well. Tata’s have a winner up their sleeve and it can be said that the battle is half won due to the feature rich car at this price. The way people have embraced the Tiago, Tigor should appeal to the masses. Tata’s though need to work on their service support to come at par with their rivals.

I purchased this vehicle on very second day of its launch.

By that time I had already driven and rested amaze, owned new dzire for two months which I sold, aspire and excent, baleno, freestyle.

If you take money out of equation and look at other aspects of car for comparing to other model's then too tigor easily triumphs over others.

Lets look at it.

Build quality- tigor is best in its segment. Just close the door and feel for thump of car. No other car in its segment sound so confident not aspire not even amaze.

Headlights and tail lights they are best in segments.

In terior space it is as comparable to dzire and amaze. But it scores over both in term of rear seat comfort and best shock absorbers. If you have old parents or relatives to sit rear seat it is best car to buy.

Minor details, like door handrest which are absolutely perfect wide to support. The way door internal handle curves makes it so comfortable to sit. Cushion support and lumbar support we dont have in any other car. The plastic used is best again. You see lot of tiny cimpromises done in other cars. But tigor just scores at these points. Just sit in tigor and experience it your self.

Sound system is absolutely way above the all.

New touch system is gem.

Niw coming to driving experience. This one I suggest you drive all five cars in two days. What I found was handling was way better much like aspire but better than it. Amaze bonnet is raised so its easier to see the road ahead and drive but clutch and gear box is absolutely best in tigor. Steering is so smooth and with perfect feedback and top of it it is self centering.

Mileage no doubt it just score over any car in its segment.

Three cylinder engine does its job perfectly well.

I ahve driven it for more than 1000 km .abd writing review after complete check. Iam geting mileage of 18.6 with citt drive mode. 30% of city traffick.

Car is gem and iam proud owner of tigor.
