Nano awesome is truly awesome!!
Jan 21, 2014 02:38 PM 162801 Views

I bought the Tata Nano awesome 2013 model last year. After hearing big NOs from relatives and friends. But this cute little buddy has been running very smooth since day one.

Pros:

1.Very easy to drive in city traffic and small roads.

2.Gives a mileage of 20 kmpl in city with AC on now and then.

3.The pick up speed is very good.

4.The look is very stylish and it has features like central locking, front power windows, music system, Bluetooth and a very powerful AC.

5.It is small on the outside which makes driving and parking easier whereas it is very much spacious and comfortable on the inside.

6.It has an amazing ground clearance that the car does not get hit on any humps or speed-breakers.(which are worse in Bangalore)

Cons:

There is not any really, but my only regret is that Tata has released Nano with power steering this year which is the only thing I miss in this car.

10000+km in a year, a celebrity feel car
Dec 30, 2013 04:28 PM 50627 Views (via Mobile)

1 year back we were planning to buy 1st car. I m n engineering student so was interested in auto motives. I have driven Alto, Spark, old Wagon R.

So we had made our minds for Wagon R newly launched. But its our destiny n luck we came to know by our relatives that they had won a Nano 2012 base in lucky draw and wanted to sell it for just 80000. We thought we had bikes costing 80000 Rs. So lets take a try and chance.

As I m only one who can drive was really confused to take nano or not. Nobody was ready to take a chance as fire catching incidents have happened. But my uncle was said that I must give nano a try, whereas he personally owns a Spark from Chevy.

So on his say, we took chance n buy Nano white base 2012 from our relative at 80000 keeping in mind that if anything happens we would sell it again. From that day we had never looked back.

I have fitted 4 speakers audio system, bigger wattage headlights, central locking, vkool transparent films, increased foam on back seat as modifications.

All say that don't do any modifications but I say do them but carefully. And u won't believe me my Nano has got a feel of a sub 5 lakhs car and due to luck all expenditures including cars price n modifications coated me 115000 only.

Now I have completed 10000+ km in a year and want to share some+ve points about Nano:

Nano is easy to drive car through densely populated cities n u r stress free all time.

I had taken Nano through highways and believe me its easy to squeeze into tight gaps and even though its speed is limited to 105 kmph you reach on destination quite early. This is because big cars have to wait for side on no divider road. A Nano can overtake tanker n simultaneously give space for motorcycles or rickshaws.

I m getting a mileage of 22 when driven through Western Ghats to 26 kmpl when driven on 2 lane roads. This is one best excitement as some Yamaha churns the same mileage.

ground clearance of 180 mm is too good for Indian roads. My uncles spark keeps scratching here n there but nano has SUV type ground clearance n u enjoy Indian roads. Even on village roads SUVs will find difficulty to turn or squeeze but nano does it easily.

U r like a celebrity when sitting in a nano because every one looks at you, admires banks presence on highways n children keep shouting nano.

Speaking about modifications they r safe as new Nano has some extras protection of fuses.

There is loads of space which many car (Alto800, Santro, Spark, even Swift, WagonR, etc.) Owners would be jealous of.

I don't know why sales of Nano is not big in volumes. I think people are afraid of what their relative n neighbors would say after buying cheapest car. Man wake up live for ur self. 2nd thing people r afraid is the car burning issues.

My friends its only 2 or 4 incidents, just follow servicing schedule n everything would be all right. 3rd thing is the safety issues. Every car has+ve n-ve concerns. Even Paul Walker died in accident in a internationally reputed car in an accident, he was actor from fast n furious series. N as Nano is concerned its crash tested n u might seen it on national geographic channel.

Now I would like to share u some trips experience:

  1. Aurangabad to Solapur n back. Total of about 650 km. I was afraid of over heating of machine. So decided to test it. I drove continuously for about 5 hours covering sub 250 km on no divider highway. There is temperature lamp which glows when machine over heats, throughout travel it never glow and that too when nano was new.

2.Aurangabad to Vani via Trimbakeshwar Nashik and Aurangabad to Bhimashankar via Ozar n Lenyadri Ganpati both journeys were sub 700km  done in one single day with 5 passengers. One thing I noticed people waste 15 min to 20 min to park and take out a car whereas nano is so easy to park that u would feel like driving an Activa through city traffic.

  1. My longest trip was Aurangabad-Sriwardhan beaches-Raigad-Mahabaleshwar-Pune-Aurangabad. It took 4 days, 1200 km in all, fuel efficiency of 23 accurately climbing Western Ghats included. We drew nano almost 500+ km stopping just once for fuel just 5 to 10 min. This was when nano impressed me and as a first car I would always keep it.

My next trip would be Aurangabad to Goa via Kolhapur. My mobile no is 9404680823 u can SMS questions about ownership experience.

2 free servings com pleated no issues n would suggest to increase foam layer on back seat as now a days companies cost cutting reduces luxury. This is also suggested for Liva, Brio, etc. As they are been modified on larger extent.

I m also referring u a Nano 2012 vs Alto 800 motor beam review to clear ur thoughts.

Sabse bakwaas gaadi. In my 20 years driving experience of 6 lakhs kms, this is the worst car I have ever had. Tatas and their agents are playing with hard earned money of the customers.

I paid full amount on April 2 2011. After realizing the cheque, even though the car was available, delivery was delayed by 9 days with an apology letter. Reason given was a defective starter complaint were given many times in first year. After 1 year, all nano starters were changed. Then the car started troubling everyday.Lots of complaint were made but Tata replied that galaxy is shut down. I approached fortune.Fortune charged in warranty.

Again complaint was lodged and galaxy changed the alternator relay but same problem.then galaxy was finally shut down no reasons were given by anyone for the same.then we approached was an.wasan changed battery Later on, the battery was not found defective. Full refund was given for battery.then alternator was changed again same problem.then again starter was changed again same problem. In last 18 months car could not over 3000 km and vehicle was in garage for 12 times.notice was sent to all but Tata being principal not bothered to reply.i am filing consumer complaint.if any body has faced such problems do let me know along with vehicle number my name is hemal ganatra mobile 9820163249 email vimnki13@gmail.com I have read many tata cases their advocates are very smart.one advocate is a senior advocate who was also advocate for Sipani automobiles

Sipani auto has not returned advance deposits and delivery of vehicles in 1990 .i will fight till supreme court.tata cannot take things for granted.this is my 20th car in last 20 years.nano is worst car.it is not a car. it is A a tempo. Please Tatas, if you really care for your customers, please reply and be responsible. After this incidence I withdrew my 2 big FD from Tata motors.

Please don't buy nano.

GOOD CAR
Dec 03, 2013 08:04 PM 62799 Views

WE OWN A WAGON R TOO. RECENTLY, WE BOUGHT A NANO PEARL WHITE LX(5/6/2013)

AND HAVE TAKEN THE CAR ON LONG DRIVE THROUGH GHATS & HIGHWAYS.

EXCELLENT MILEAGE, SPACE & COMFORT, EASY TO DRIVE.

BUT TATA MOTORS NEEDS TO IMPROVE ITS SUSPENSION  ON NANO AS IT TRANSMITS SOUND & VIBRATIONS INTO THE CABIN ON PATCHY ROADS (NOT ENGINE SOUND).

REAR OPENABLE  REARBOOT WOULD BE WELCOME.

OVERALL , A GOOD CAR. NO OTHER ISSUES. HAPPY.

Value for money Fun city car
Nov 10, 2013 12:20 PM 88104 Views

I sold my used Matiz car which I used almost for four years. As the car was getting more demanding, maintenance wise, I considered it wise to sell it out for which OLX helped!

1st August was the day when the pearl white fully loaded Tata Nano LX became part of my family. What propelled me for this car which had a poor tag with it? I always believed in me, especially when it came to automobiles and mobiles purchasing!

My wife said, If you have less money for car then why do not you go for Alto instead? I politely told her, If I get more than Alto with at least less than one lakh rupees, what makes sense to shell out more money just because it was from Maruti?

What I meant indeed?

== LOOKS*

I compared Nano with Alto and Eon . I found Alto a confused car as far as the looks are concerned.Headlight like Ford Figo, Front grille like some other car, rear like I10 and so on. EON did present some freshness and good’fluidic’ design, but Nano was a fully’innovative’ design with an unconventional tall boy look.

== OPERATING COST*

I have driven Nano more than 1300 Km for last four months. Never was the time I kept my any of the car windows rolled down as I kept air conditioner ON always. I have got minimum 17 Kmpl and maximum 19.5 Kmpl inside the city.Just completed first servicing and I have been told that the mileage is bound to increase! Yeppy!

I am sure that apart from anything related with a hatchback, mileage is the most important factor for this segment and I was not an exception to this. With each passing day fear of petrol price hike keeps increasing!

== INTERIORS*

Interior is basic as compared to EON. But the awesome space it offers in the form of ample legroom and headroom for driver and the three more adult passengers is simply amazing. Even a six feet tall like me feels happy as a driver as well as a passenger. Have got Blaupunkt music system with two speakers on the front doors. But the 2013 Nano has four speakers and Integrated Music system with Bluetooth.

Seats are comfortable and with dual tone beige colour, however I have covered it with free seat covers! Dashboard is slim but accomodated my favourite’Gods’ there for their grace always! There are two beautiful Glove Boxes each in front of the Driver and the front passenger. One of them has separate lock to keep important and valuable items. These Glove Boxes has improved the looks of the already cute slim Dahboard. The central instrument cluster is pretty and looks prettier in night with Renault Duster like orange backlit panels .All digital meters and indications for Fog lights, high beam, engine oil, battery, engine temperature( only when high temp reached) .Four AC vents look good.

The Battery is placed below the front seat but secured and almost covered. The Gear lever is placed in such a way that it’s very convenient for the driver to use it. However the movement of the lever is not that smooth like the i10. One more thing I did not like was that the Steering Wheel is placed little lower which took almost a week for me to settle down in this car. But now I feel no irritation after I learnt through more driving with more adjustments with the space adjustment with the seat.

The Steering Wheel is smaller and cute with three spokes in LX model. Operating it is like a toy indeed! Activating horn is very easy as pressing’anywhere’ on any part of the spokes with activate horn. But, the horn is too sweet to dispell any live obstruction on the road!

The ’Diggy’ is comoufledged at the back above the engine behind the back seat. The Heat shield used is quite effective which does not allow the heat to dissipate inside the passenger cabin. Once I drove the car for around 75 minutes in city with a normal bag inside the diggy. when I took it out, it was heated very mild. Here again I did not like six butterfly screws to open the engine compartment to check engine oil, brake fluid etc. You will be full of sweat by the time you unscrew all the screws!

All the doors have pocket of sufficient’depth’ to keep items. Quality of material is good, if not extraordinary. The front view is very clear, even the side view for all the passengers! I feel, it’s the’widest’ among all cars in India! Same is the easy ingress and egress where even a tall boy or my wife in saree feel very easy to come in and go out. Very commendable job by Tata because even some SUVs may not have such wonderful system!

Controls for front power windows are’wrongly’ placed as one needs to’bow dow’n to operate it.

However, the latest nano has corrected this!

== HANDLING*

No hatchback can beat Nano in this Department!

Only 4 meters of turning radius, 180mm SUV like Ground Clerance and almost no weight on front tyres as compared to rear with engine.

It`s a breeze to drive Nano in city bumper to bumper chasing traffic. Also small space is sufficient to zip in a crowded parking space!

Brakes are normal not exceptional like many other small cars.

Headlights are so effective that you actually feel like to plan your trips for the evening! Once the Headlights are ON the Nano certainly feels like a big SUV for the onlookers. Looks even more attactive with all the integrated Fog lights and one more light just below the Rear Spoiler and Indica like tall Backlights.

The single blade wiper is good enough for this car and looks’natural’ part of the car. Rear view mirrors both at driver and front passenger side looks good and effective as mirrors. Thick A-piller did disturb me initially but very soon I got used to it!

Driving in Rainy season was good experience with Alloy wheels and good ground clerance.

== THE AC*

You bet with me! The AC performance is so wonderful that you will like to keep one additional Nano just for AC even if you already have a Sedan!

Switching AC on does not affects the pick up of the car unlike any sub 1000 cc car. This car is just above 600 cc and the AC is indeed miracle. Even the mileage is hardly affected!

== TEMPTED TO COMPARED WITH MY BIKE*

It has just 15 litre Fuel tank which my Baja Caliber has! It has a ARAI mileage of 25.4 Kmpl which a 500 cc bike has!

== CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICING EXPERIENCE*

The Toll free number is responsive, though I needed to use it once only! .

Getting Servicing appointment is easy and as per your will. just make a call!

The reception at the Servicing centre at the Society Motors Kanpur was more than satisfactory with all industry standard customer amenities available at the waiting lounge.

The Spare part list is displayed here at the reception area and the spare for Tata are priced reasonable, though I did not need it during my first servicing!

== FINAL VERDICT*

If you have strong desire of a NEW car and want great mileage, great handling in city, unconventional looks, AC, Heater, Music system but have less money at your disposal go for it for EMI as low as 15 Kg Onion and down payment as low as E byke!

Please do not purchase Tata nano, Poor service
Nov 09, 2013 05:36 PM 70975 Views

I have bought a Tata Nano Car on 2012 and from the first year of my purchase of this car I am searching for a satisfaction from Tata service .

Please this is my humble request to all do not purchase this car ever and tell you friends and relative the same or you will suffer only .

Actually I have bought a small service package from Concorde Motors( http: // http://www.concordemotors.com/) which Tatas own service company .I never got any satisfaction from Concorde Motors, When ever I got my car serviced from them I always complaint that they never washed the car completely and they never done their documented work on service as we got the pamphlet from them . On my first service from Tata they stole my car music system key and when I tried to registered the they never showed the interest to register . It like they never show rRajeev_Vermact and care to the customer .

I have many time called on Tata automobile customer care no. but they always suggest me to write a mail on customercare@tatamotors.com . Many time I have wrote emails on same email id but they are still not interested to help me out .

= Please check my emails to them .

A Useful car if you don't care for prestige
Oct 25, 2013 08:42 PM 72133 Views

I wanted to buy a diesel TATA nano and Right now I have purchased a used Tata Nano which was driven some 14000Km. I serviced it once after purchasing it. I don’t have words to praise TATA for their concern towards the middle class of this country. Till now I have completed additional 7000 km and I have tested the vehicle in extreme rains, Bangalore traffic, tough hills in Coorg (interior) and on express highways.

Till now not even a single problem to mention. I am getting 21+ in city and 24+ on highways.  Getting good mileage is an art.  Before buying I had noticed rear wheel tread wear out (on only one tyre) so I did not worry much about it.  But the tyre was aligned at the first service itself.

Accidents do happen with the best vehicles and with best drivers.  Know your vehicles strength and weakness and drive accordingly. You can’t get everything in one package for cheap. I without doubt give 5 rating for this vehicle.   Even though the feel and comfort level in other vehicles is entirely different, but for the amount we pay no car manufacturers can compete with Tata Nano.

The only mistake Tata did was to brand this vehicle as people’s car.  In our country majority of the people live for others, false prestige’s, etc.

People living for themselves and care for their family then Tata Nano is the right choice.

Nano 2012 ..Awesome car ..I am 100% satisfied
Oct 21, 2013 11:50 AM 71038 Views

After so many user review and auto expert review n video, I have finally choose TATA Nano .as its really an budget car, giving good seating comfort and as per review it would be good decision. In the last 3 months I have driven this car 2500 Kms to long drive to Shirdi and awesome driving experience I was driving continuously at 85 to 90 Km speed.

The car can even reach easily 100 to 105 but as safety not advisable to drive above 100km.

Overall, experience is too good, we were 5 people+ 2 children in car and with luggage still all are very much comfortable. AC is too good. In a single day we drove 461 km Thane - Shirdi - Thane without any issue.

BEKAR CAR DO NOT BUY NANO
Sep 21, 2013 08:09 PM 69205 Views

I am  using NANO from 3 years [UP14BC7090], run only 14000 KM, done all 6 services on time, oil changes 4 times.

So far three time breakdown. Breakdown service also no helping during breakdown.

still not able to resolve starting problem .Whenever you contact TATA, they will tell to go to their FRAUD service center and leave car for at least 1 day and no guarantee for resolution of problem.

Contacted top  management of Tata motors, but they are in favor of their dealer. They do not CARE at all for victim [I mean customer].

No spare will be available outside. No one can repair it. The warranty of 4 year is fake and in 4 years you will be frustrated and wish that your car will got fire so at least you get something from insurance.

Please go for Nano if you want to waste money and buy trouble.

Excellent Car..Without Second Thought…
Jul 30, 2013 10:27 AM 67218 Views

Nano is a wonderful car no doubt about it.. I just took it for my dad. he is a senior citizen and won’t feel comfortable driving a high power car as they are aggressive in pickups..I also own i10 1.2..but was very happy with Nano when took the first ride..

Nano 2013 is really an improved version.. Tata took some efforts to improve the Nano and efforts paid off.. Nice interior.. easy to handle even at high speed i.e. 90KMPH.

I took a test drive of Nano in 2010 and now 2013 the engine noise is reduce dramatically i.e. no engine noise in cabin at least..  AC is powerful …

Steering is bit heavy at low speed. But few people suggested to increase air pressure in front tyers  so that steering becomes easy. Need to check on that, as this method should not damage tyers …

I took it for a drive from Pune to Kolhapur i.e. 250 KM and ride was very comfortable..

Drove at consistent speed of 70 KMPH and with 70% AC I got 22 KM/LTR average.  Also notice one thing that with high power cars we use to drive bumper to bumper on high ways..

This cause lot of braking and zig-zag moves.. But with Nano I was on one side of road with consistent speed and less braking..

Currently my dad is using it and he is very happy and satisfied with the small wonder...But even with such a wonderful car Tata need to spend some efforts to improve service..

Auto-rickshaw is far better than Nano!!
Jul 01, 2013 11:36 AM 53069 Views

This is the car enough to give you sleepless nights and trouble!!

Within 1 year, my car (KA 01 MH 7774) had visited the service station more than 5 times!! sometimes, some irregular noise, engine breakdown, starting problem, clutch issue, so on and so forth. I feel its better to buy an auto and use it instead of this scrap. Now I know why being so cheap, this car is flop in the market!!

Friends, my sincere advise is to buy an auto or any other entry level car but not to think of nano ever!! i am feeling like i did a charity to tata motors after buying this crap. Now I am thinking to dispose this crap but not sure if I shall get even the half price for this 1 year old scrap!!

The Tata nano is a good value for money car when you cant afford a very expensive one, but at the same time it cant accommodate too many people.

Last weekend my friends took up to Pune in his Nano and by the end of the journey we could not feel our legs cause our legs were squashed!

Nano - Neighbors envy ,Owners pride !
Jun 08, 2013 10:32 AM 49363 Views

Delhi - When I first decided on buying a Nano in Oct 2012, my whole peer group was up in arms against the car . Substandard, Not for Upper middle class, Not adequate leg space, Expensive and low engine performance were used to scare me to change my decision to Maruti or some thing else. But some how I stuck to my choice and went on to buy a LX .I desperately wanted to try this vehicle and thankfully it worked to my charm.

Extremely compact from outside and quite spacious from inside with an amazing air conditioner. Cools within minutes. Steering was a bit heavy but I changed the Tyre pressure to 33 psi and then whoa! it works like a power steering if not one. The average of the car is pretty OK and gives around 18 km-pl while on AC while the company claims it to be around 25 km-pl. I personally like the design and style of Nano and prefer it over my other cars. It is ideal for a metro, parks so easily with my parking sensors. I have forgotten looking at the back while reversing.

The best part I like about it is the pick up of the vehicle, within minutes you are running on 60 without even noticing it although it is a bit compromised when completely occupied but still works well.Stereo speakers from TATA which come as accessory are also good if not better for a small car. The product is simply awesome and the Nano helpline is a great help when your vehicle   goes down. I personally tried it 3 times and the TATA guys are like following you on the resolution of your problem till it gets solved to your satisfaction without any extra charge which is a great asset. I would also recommend to buy the AMC package which TATA offers. It makes you completely free of any issue regarding the machinery for the next four years. There was some problem with my fan belt because of which it used to make some noise and I got it corrected completely FOC.

Regarding the dealer experience - Bought it from Him Motors Patparganj, experience bad to worst, no customer service, no proper documentation and pathetic follow ups. I had to literally fight with them to take the delivery. So make sure if you plan to buy a Nano, you buy it from a good dealer after a proper survey. The accessory I bought from them was substandard and I am completely dissatisfied with the performance. You may want to look for another option as far as the accessory part is concerned.

Today, I take most of my friends for a drive of nano and all of them are pleasantly surprised on the vehicle. It is surprising to see that most people were giving an opinion about the product without even trying it for once. Lot of my friends are now getting convinced with Nano and I would say it is an ideal car for you to have whether in city or in a village. With High performance and easy on pocket features, I am completely Nano-addicted  !

Take a test drive and then only form an opinion about the car.

Best!

4 Months old vehicle

Lost brakes on highway today morning.

Lucky I could stop it somehow by lowering the gear.

Is this what expected from a Tata Vehicle??

On what belief will one ride a vehicle??

Experience shared for taking precaution if you own a Nano or you are one who wishes to own this vehicle. Spend 50,000 extra, you could own a reliable vehicle.

(This vehicle was taken back yesterday after a service period of 1 week - changed starter, replaced a brake part, arrested corrosion).

Ahmedabad India
Journey from Raipur Chhattisgarh To Ahmedabad, Guj
May 24, 2013 02:55 PM 44966 Views

I feel proud to be a Nano Owner. I like to share my experience with you all. After extensive research I finalized to buy Tata Nano LX 2012 special edition. I booked my tata nano 2012 special edition and received car delivery on 10th December 2012 from National Garage, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The best part of my ride in Nano started when I decided to shift my job from Raipur, Chhatisgarh to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I decided to go Ahmedabad, Gujarat by road.

On 28th February 2013 I started my journey from Raipur, Chhattisgarh to Ahmedabad, Gujarat at 5.30 pm. It was a 1250 km journey. I took the route of Bihali, Durg, Nagpur, Betul, Indore, Dhar, Dahod, Godhra and Ahmedabad.

Before Nagpur the road was excellent. But as the highway construction is going on the road started becoming worse. Road Between Nagpur  - Betul and Dhar - Dahod is like hell. I can say at some places there is no road. But I have to salute Nano who made my trip safe.

It took 27 hours nonstop to reach Ahmedabad from Raipur and it consumed Rs 3500/- petrol. All my relatives and friends were surprised. And I proudly say them that I am a Nano owner.

Till now my Nano has completed 5 months and 14 days and has travel 5000 kms without any problem.

I happily recommend to all my Friends, Relatives & all whoever want to by a Car. This car is a perfect Car for Indian conditions. A Small family car. Can roam all over India without have a single doubt in mind. My next trip is in August 2013. This trip is Ahmedabad - Goa - Ahmedabad. Will Give my review.

DREAM COME TRUE
May 21, 2013 01:56 PM 45667 Views

Before purchasing tata nano I was very much confused so I read many reviews on net which were in support of it and against also but most of them were in support. I was in search of any defect in the car because I did not want  to see any defect after purchasing it. In this confusion I met a nano user I asked him that ever this car left you helpless in midway or any problem that came across you in this duration. He said that I faced no problem accept small boot area and difficult to access it from inside.

On question of mileage he said that he never checked it but he was assured that it gave him above 20.  Here it is necessary to say about it’s look, my friends  told me   that it does not look like a car. I never agree  that type things because weather the cars of 1020 or 1930 did look like now days cars? No. It is always changing, perhaps NANO may be representing that change. Finaly I decided to go with change and taken firm decision to purchased a nano. I have purchased tata nano cx 2012 in white color from SRM Motors Lucknow in Feb 2013. Till now my car done 2700 Kms.

After this run I am very satisfied with this car and happy on my decision. In this duration I run this car 300 kms non stop without any problem. In this little 3 month period I drove max 90 km/h speed. On the mileage issue it give me 28-30 km/l with a/c and 23km/l with a/c. I drove this car from village road to highway and pvt colony to very crowed city like Kanpur. I never felt any problem accept its seat height because my wife is short and can not put foot on flour.

Whereever I go I become the attraction of people due to nano after launch of many years it is still an attraction. I never forget that when I entered in to a remote village children rushed at my car shouting nano nano. I want to request to tata motors to change the design of rear bumper because it does not match to the car. Finally best thing about  it, the a/c of this car is very good.

Nano... Value for Money
May 15, 2013 09:03 PM 35213 Views

Bought Tata Nano Special Edition last Oct 2012. At beginning I was skeptical whether I should buy on hearing people views on car. But just listened to myself and brought one. The car is very spacious compared to Maruti models like Alto, 800, Wagon R. or that compared to Huyndai eon. The car is giving me a good mileage of +20km in city.

AC is good. Only problem is that the service provided by dealers in Nashik is not good. Next step is to go take it outside city limits in monsoon.

Kmpl - 15 in city, 20 in highway

Pros: Good for city driving, spacious, good seating position, good mileage for highway with AC (with speed above 70 Kmph). Good for speed upto 90 kmph - 100 Kmph on highway. takes only little space while overtaking and moving in crowded traffic..

Cons: Average car, needs refinement. 4 Months old. Ran 5000 Kms, Few issues observed. Starting troubles, corrosion. Braking not confidence inspiring. Rear bumper & rear seat gets heated because of engine, pedals not easily accessible by people with short legs, very thin metal used gets dented easily.

A good choice for who prefer a new vehicle with moderate cost and who runs a lot. It is difficult to say what happens once warranty is over.

Nano:

Battery under seat

Sounds like autorickshaw

Dashboard like tata magic

Front like tata magic

Engine limitations too

They could do some experiment with their which they haven't done. They could design tata nano like kia pride adding features like nano and it would really sold in million nos.
