Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.4 CRDi EX

My Last car was Hyundai Verna(2012 Fuidic) 1.6 CRDI SX. So, my review is limited to only 2012 H.V. 1.6 CRDI SX(Diesel) Model only. I was second owner of that car. Below are the things that I observed & experienced.

Positive Points:-

1. Punchy Engine 1.6 Ltr Diesel produces 128 HP & 260 Nm of Torque

4. Good Interior dash board is futuristic.

   
   




5. Original(Company Provided) sound system is also Good. No need to change it,

   
   




6. Though Powerful engine car gives mileage of 18.5 to 21 Kmpl

   
   




7. Overtaking is very easy.

   
   




8. Extremely silent diesel engine. Good insulation provided by Hyundai

   
   




9. Softer suspension is boon for city driving or for low speed driving. It cruises comfortably Road speed breakers, Patholes effortlessly. It's very comfortable car from that point.

   
   




10. Leg Room is sufficient for front row passenger(Driver & Co Driver)

    
    




11. Reliability of Hyundai cars is next to Toyota, Honda & Maruti. So, anyone can think of Hyundai for reliability.

    
    

Negative Points:-

1. Fluidic design kept window profile for rear seat on higher side.

   
   




2. Under Thigh Support for rear seat is very poor.

   
   




3. Rear seat isn't suitable for 3 Fat passengers(More than 75 KG Say)

   
   




4. Bouncy ride after 120 KMPH. Don't ever try to ride beyond 120 KMPH.

   
   




5. Extra Light steering makes cornering difficult in high speed(say above 80 KMPH)

The interior of the car remains same with the same beige and black combination which looks very elegant.

The glove box gets cooling function which keeps the eatables fresh even in the harsh environment.

The hyundai Verna gets climate contral for the ease of every journy steering mounted audio control makes easy for the driver to swap some music.

The look of hyundai verna is very nice, its look like a sport car.

The engine is very powerful, its top speed is 190 kmph,

THE 7th generation Verna, based on Hyundai's new fluidic design, is the best looking c segment var in India. The chassis is all new and Stiffer. It is nimble and the ride quality is comfortable but high speed stability could be better . Hyundai Verna has been one of the India's most successful product and though it's due for phase out. The smart all btw Verna retains the previous gen's imperative handling dyanamics, thanks to truly well engineered chassis. The Verna is definitely drivers car.

Verna is a car made for a gentelman its not made for rash driving it is a well build car with decent amount of power it looks good and its best for official use

But there are some issues suh as fuel consumption is really bad u get an average of 8 kmpl in city and around 12 kmpl on highways

Rear seats are also not comfortable as the seating position is too low for passengers and the window height is also hight for back seat passengers . So its feels little sicky in back seats

Space and comfort on front seats is perfecty fine

Ground clearance of the car is also low when the car is full ( 4 pessengers in the car )

The body of the car feels strong but the paint is not that much great it will get damaged easily after some time so need extra care for that too

Overall car is ok looks good and you can go for it

Hyundai launched the verna facelift in the indian car market. Hyundai verna in south korea is subcompact car produced by hyundai. In Australia the generation models carried over the hyundai excel. Name used by the accents predecessor. The accent was replaced in 2000 by the hyundai verna in south korea. Although most international markets including the USA retained the accent name. The mileage of this is hardly 15-18kmpl.and the major issues by this car is poor suspension, clutch, breaksystem.

The new fluidic is little costlier than its predecessor. It has got new front look. Also there is a little change in its feature.The bottom model consists of 2 airbags and oter basic features.The 2nd model is equipped with a bluetooth system and automatic headlamps in addition to the bottom model.The third model consist of a 7-inch infotainment system and fog lamps.The last model have 6-airbags alongwith the above model's features, the automatic transmission is optional in this model.The first model is equipped with 1.4 litre diesel and petrol engine.The 1.6 litre engine is in all other variant.Mileage: - 1.4 petrol - 17kmpl 1.4 diesel - 23kmpl 1.6 petrol - 15.5kmpl 1.6 diesel- 22kmpl 1.6 petrol AT- 14kmpl 1.6 diesel AT- 20kmplAlso you will get a desired resale value after selling.

Hello my dear friends . I bought is car due to previous good experience with Hyundai.

I got my shock of the life when suddenly AC stopped working, my Car is just six month old and about 5000 km run.

When I contacted the Hyundai dealership for the ratification, I was shocked again to know the reason for the problem, I told this is due to the Vehicle Design.

During the purchase I was told that this is best car with futuristic design. I would request new buyers please beware of buying such product which causes metal pain and agony. the local dealers in the name of service are looting gullible Customer satisfaction. The feedback system is also not effective, there is no remedy post complaints.

The feedback call is just to have the rating and nobody is interested in Customer Satisfaction.

I hope the same will be rectified through this esteem column. Thanks

I bought this car during its release time. I bought it for Rs.13 lac. I have a manual transmission version. There are six speed gears, along with rear camera. On performance, it is a descent car. It runs on diesel and has a mileage of about 14 in Delhi. It looks very premium from inside. It runs at 160km per hour without much load and can go further easily. It has bluetooth and a very good sound system with nice bass. The climate control system is automatic. It has a low ground clearance and feels very low in comparision to any hatchback. Its handling is also good. The engine produces moderate noise at about 80 km per hour. There is good leg space in the front seats, but a little less in the back seats. The boot is very large and you can keep 3 to 5 suitcases in it. There are arm rests both in front and back. The shockers are also good. You feel very little vibrations in Rajasthan and Haryana even. It is an elegent car ffom inside and has got power under its hood.

I really feel very comfortable and it is very excellent car in driving. This is awesome from its interior and itz exterior fluidic verna is a luxurious feel to drive and the top model of automatic transmission is really unbelievable what a smooth and really very nice experience.

The car has been attracting so many peoples and it is a 4 seater. The outlook of the car loaded with style and there is lot play at the front eyed headlamps, reworked bumper. Dealer are more satisfied because of more features with in a low budget. customers are also satisfied with this car and at the front side car is specially attracted by LED lights. The fuel consumption of this car 35-40 km/lit. it is more benificial to middle class people.good mileage. it is more comfort and safe for the 4 peoples. The outlook of car is attractivly designed and there is smooth curve at the front.

Look and Style Recently I have purchased a new Hyundai Verna Fluidic. It's around three months since I bought my new car. Before this car I had a Maruti Wagon R.

As compared to my earlier car this new Hyundai Fuidic have sporty looks and have an eye catchy appearance. It can attract anyone with its robust design.

Comfort: The interiors are best in class. It provides a high standard of comfort and luxury to the passengers. One can't feel franctic on long drive. There is enough leg space at both front and rear.

Along with this various advanced features are also present in Hyundai Verna Fluidic like dual toned dashboard, unique air purifier, high quality multimedia system and many more.

Pickup: A high powered engine is used by Hyundai in this new sedan which is capable of reaching the speed of 0-60 kmph in just 4.87 seconds.

Mileage Talking about the fuelefficiency of my new Hyundai Verna Fluidic, it provides a mileage of 20 Kmpl on highways and around 18 Kmpl on city conditions.

Best Features The feature I like most in my Hyundai Verna Fluidic is the highquality interior which offers high standard of comfort. I never feel tedious on my long drive. In addition to this the sedan is a fuel efficient car.

Furthermore the Suspension ratio and Gear shifting of the car is a breeze. One can't experience a bumpy drive even on water logged and muddy roads. Needs to improve Its very early to figure out any issue in this car. Its around three months since I am driving this car and during this span of time I am very much satisfied with its performance.

Interior feels premium, the cabin is well insulated so very less engine noise as compared to its rivals, space is good but less if compared to City, offers a comfortable ride on highways but not on potholes

It provides a Convinent space .

The Verna diesel model provides the best milage that is 20+.

It provides a wide comfort for front and back seaters.

It has provided the best bootspace and it provides a better ground clearance of 170mm.

Sterring is smooth and handing is great.

I am writing this with lot of disappointment and largely to vent out my frustration which I am going through for the last few months.

To start with this is my  third Hyundai car in my family in the last one year and for the last 8 years I was driving GETZ and happen to buy this Verna automatic last year in return to my GETZ.from Advaith Hyundai, Vasanthnagar. The sales guys are really good and I know each one of them personally but the problem is with the the service guys.

Last year I complained these guys about my mileage(6 km/liter) and they told me it should improve after first service.fair point, my second service was also done but no improvement and they blamed the Bangalore traffic and said this is purely related to Bangalore traffic, my friend who bought a Honda city automatic enjoys a easy mileage of 11km/ltr in city condition.

The real problem, my car developed a malfunction on 25th Jan'17 and the malfunction sign was displayed and after sometime the car stopped in the signal with a jerk and with lot of difficulty I drove to the service station and explained them that the vehicle was not not responding to accele_45rator and the brakes are not working. They were very curious and did everything possible and requested me to drop the vehicle as they couldn't identify the problem.Car was handed over to me on 30th Jan.after 5 days(one Govt holiday on 26th) and was told by the staff that this was a problem they couldn't fix and as a special case had to call engineers from Chennai, they had to spend 7 hrs on the car and drove about 100+ kilometers to test the vehicle(petrol was at my cost) and finally they said they have  rectified the problem, and was made to aishwaryasingh23 a nominal cost.remember this is a new car

Today 9th Feb, my car broke down again in the traffic and I had to call the helpline and the vehicle was towed by their staff, guess what.all the story told by the service staff for the last service was plain lies.and to my shock everybody accepted it.Please be-careful if you want to pick the automatic version as they are not great in this space.

My request is not to respond to my mail as I am not trying to portray Hyundai in bad light but felt like conveying the message to guys who plan to buy this model. This will be my last car from Hyundai.that's for sure.

Updating.the car broke down again for the third time on 11 march and here is the proof for those who don't believe

1) When the car reported on 25/01/2017(R.O.Number:R201700851, KMS:14,750) You Had an concern during that time we removed all wiring sockets and re fixed after that driven for 80kms( apx) test drive Parameters was as per the specification no abnormality found and car delivered to you.

2)second time car reported on09/02/2017(R.O.Number:R201701401, KMS:15,096)

we found sensor malfunction throttle position sensor for that we changed ECM along with sensor for safer side and took test drive around 150kms after that we didn't found any malfunction light and all the parameters were under specification and the car Delivered to you.

3)Car Reported on 11.03.2017 evening,(R201702634, KMS:15,nextisbest) we found problem with wiring harness which send the signal from ECM to throttle position sensor we are changing engine wiring Assembly. taken test drive of 50kms

Exeterior Nice looks and feels like a luxury .Interior Generally it has all features and riding comfort is pertty good overall has a good riding qiality and feels safe even at high speeds.

And the handiling very comfortable .i am very happy with Ride quality Handling the car . If hyundai can also implement the same in their sedan cars will be good and very nice cars compared to Honda city our Good insulated soundproof cabin gears are pretty smooth anfmd present I am getting fuel economy of 11.5 kmp in the city and higway 14 kmp.

Hyundai verna comes in 12 varients with the 3 engine and 2 transmission and 2 fuel option.the base petrol engine gives the106bhp and 135 Nm where the top petrol verint gives the 121 bhp and 155 nm the diesel base varient give s89 bhp and 220 nm and top model 126 bhp 259 nm of torque.

the interior of this car is very good the interior gives you a luxury feel which is plus piont for sadan car.

exterior is looks sporty .

the rear of the verna continous with the understated look with redigned tail lamp which is good looking.

As we know Hyundai has earned a decent reputation in Indian market, so we can expect good cars from Hyundai. Verna is its one of the best cars. It is among spacious cars available in sedan segment. Leg room is pretty good in back seat. Its interior is best in class which gives a royal feeling.

Hyundai is providing good service for its cars and has many service centers through out India so servicing the car is not a problem. They also provide road side assistant to its customers which gives complete peace of mind.

If we talk about the fuel consumption, on highways it gives around 22/23 km/l if your drive at around 80/90 km/h, and if you are driving at 120+ km/h then fuel consumption comes down to 17 km/l or less depending upon the driving style. Its city mileage is not so good, its around 15/16 km/l. Even this is better then other sedans available in the market.

If we talk about the comfort level, this is among the best cars to give comfort as an executive class and spacious too. Even rear seat passengers can travel for 100s of kilometers without fatigue.

As it comes from the house of Hyundai, this car is reliable and value for money. It looks great, and thanks to its fludic design which is also unique, which attracts the attention of the people when it passes through.

Overall it is value for money premium car with comfort and space.

The Verna has a fabulous look.Its look has a very less comparison.The Chrome finished front grilles and bumper having fog lamps all look very perfect.Projector headlamps, long tail lamps, alloy wheels all have a sporty look.The interior also has a very stylish look.All looks very perfect.The car also has rear view camera, micro roof antenna etc.Overall the Verna has a very fantastic look.

This car is very spacious.This has enough head room, leg room.The front and back seats are very much spacious.The boot also has a lot of space.As a Sedan it is very much.From the point of view of space it is absolutely YES.

In case of comfort, the Verna is very comfortable.The seats are comfortable enough.The suspension of this car is very good.It provides an extra effort to the comfort level.

The Verna is available in both petrol and diesel variants.The engine is much refined and the transmissions are smooth enough.The engine does not has a noisy sound.The steering is smooth and easy to handle and control.The brakes are very good.

Hyundai Verna has promised a good milage of this car.As the milage of the car is average 16-17 kmpl for the petrol and 20-24kmpl for the Diesel version.For a car of this class the milage is good enough.

I am quite happy with the dealer.They have experts for everything.Their customer support is very good, effective.They have a very good response for their customers.Hyundai has the customer satisfaction that everybody wants.

The Hyundai Verna is a totally reliable car.It is the best from all the point of view.It has fabulus look, luxurious interior design, powerful engine, quite good milage, strong braking system.

So, the Hyundai Verna is a reliable car.It also has safety features like ABS, aie bags etc.The price range of this car is 8.25 lakhs-13.4 9lakhs( ex showroom Delhi) ,

The car is loaded with features and controls on dash and wheel.

It is complete value for money when it comes to the feel of Sedan, comfortable and easy to handle.

Fuel consumption is higher as compared to cars in this segment.

The looks are amazing and so is the handling, it is easy to drive even at high speed.

The price is higher than similar cars of this range but the class and looks are best as compared to Toyota and Ford and Maruti.

After sales service is good for Hyundai cars and it is reliable too.

Spacious car with no major issues except for the fuel consumption and shocker and suspension which is low and you may not feel that good in a bumpy road.

Overall a must go if you want to purchase something under 10L
