Hyundai i20 Active 1.2 SX

I've had my Hyundai automobile for a year now, and I'm excited to share my thoughts and observations of this great vehicle. Hyundai has continually delivered on its promises of quality, dependability, and innovation, making my ownership experience a genuine pleasure. The first thing that drew my attention to my "Hyundai I20 Active" was its clean and modern style in titan grey color. The outside is elegant and well-crafted, and it draws attention wherever I go. I've received numerous compliments on how the car looks. It easily navigates streets and highways, giving a smooth and comfortable ride. The engine responds well, and I've had no problems with acceleration or power. The fuel economy is particularly noteworthy, as it saves me money on gas throughout my daily commute. My Hyundai's focus to safety is one of its most notable features. These features not only improved my driving experience, but also added to my sense of safety on the road. My Hyundai's interior is roomy, well-designed, and pleasant. Regular maintenance has been simple, and the car's dependability has exceeded my expectations.

We bought the car according to my wish. It was white in colour i love it very much. Traveling in it is comfortable with lots of spaces inside.All its functionings, looks, working its extra ordinary. We had severals trips in it even to high ranges in kerala like idukki. But it has only one problem the sudden clutch breakage. One day at midnight i was driving my car and studdenly when i changed the gear to the second it does work and the clutch cylinder broken with a loud sound i really got frughtned and when the call the help centre they told me that it was the general prbolm of i20 having clutch failure. That is the inly drawback. But mileage is too low 13km / litre

I bought i20 Active in March 2017. It always blew air from ac and I complained to service centre. They never paid attention. Finally after 3 years the ac completely stopped working. The service centre said the compressor failed. I was shocked. The estimate was some 18000 and that too with no warranty. However, I went to the other service centre got it changed but the ac again stopped working and they said the compressor is gone again. You must be kidding me. This is a very serious manufacturing issue. Hyundai should recall all its i20 active model and change the compressor.

This car have a good pick up and give high Power and comes under in the budget.I think that this is the best car for travelling in hilly areas.

Own i20 Active Petrol

Liked the look and feel of the vehicle.

Did not like - Very high cost of maintenance.

Parts are inferior. Battery replaced <2years. Exide technician said the battery is underpowered compared to the vehicle capacity.

AC compressor required to be replaced due to manufacturing defect, poor cooling. But it takes a while for the dealer to accept this till hte ac is fully non-functional.

Post 3 years, expect 5-20k part replacement every quarter+ routine checkup cost.

Suggestion: If you want to buy the car take extended warranty to the extended available. Else go for Maruti, never faced such problem in my last two maruti cars.

I bought this car 3 years ago at a cost of about 9lakh, the price is too high as compared to tata SUV 's one can afford tata suv in this price not only price is high this average milage car has low braking power while in 3 4 gear, the steering handling is much hard to drive pickup is not also so good as compared to price.not reccomend others to buy this car.

I am sharing my experience with Hyundai i20 Active. This car is comes with dual-tone body paint schemes in the top spec version.It is available in three dual tone options-blue with polar white, brown with black and withe with black.The cross hatchback gets projector headlamps and LED DRLs.When I am running this car I feel that the car is running very smooth.My experience with car is very impressive, i like this car very much.In white color the car is looking best for professional person.The look of car is amazing.

Hyundai i20 is a nice and stylish car. It is considered as a best hatchback car of India. I am also planning to buy this car very soon.My friend has many cars one of it is I 20 but he always prefer i20 over any other car. I driven this car many times and Hyundai i20 style and comfort always impressive

Hyundai brand is the best in the world in my opinion. And i20 is my favorite car and I have this car. The music system and the interior are all luxurious and well designed like europes cars. The ground cleareance is 190mm so it's like other suv. The milege is very good. So the car is best for me. I think its like a suv and I suggest all people to buy this car.

No doubt hyundai's i20 active is best cross over in the segment. Superb built quality. The sx variant is worth every penny you spent. The touchscreen is super responsive. It has a quite low quality sound system. As I have petrol variant, the 1.2 l petrol engine delivers less power than the 1.4 l engine in the i20 active diesel variant.

Hyundai is tha favorite car company. I have also Hyundai 2 cars. Last year I bought a hyundai i20 car he is very stylish and strong. He is a great design and body is very soft. I drive the car. I experience car seat is more beautiful and stylish then other car. Once time car speed at 120 suddenly a child come in road I brake and car stooped. Car save children life and also my life. Hyundai I 20 is my favorite car. His top speed 220.most speed than swift dzire. One problem car head lump is down. But car is beautiful

This car is quite more than an average car but less than a best car i.e this car has various good features like abs, ebd, perfect suspension, best in class mileage, best stability, best control, best in class infotainment system and the brand loyalty of hyundai. But everything is not perfect in the world so this car also have some negative points like its quite expensive, it has extra weight because of the metal used( this might increase more mileage) Otherwise in my opinion this is a great car in this segment

Comfortable.

We have gone all over the Patna ( Bihar) but best Dealership and we got best thing in Bhagalpur ( Bihar) Hyundai show room.

This car fuel Consumption is good in demand in running condition.

Power torque is very powerful.

My suggestion is go and buy this car

Its riding experience is very enjoying,

when my uncle buy this car I thout that its not a better choise but when I ride it I loose my mind because its engine sound is very smooth and its handling , and braking system is very good.

Exterior

Poor rubber fitting came out after 7 months, not expected from a Hyundai as many say Hundai has it 'The Best'. Motor-Cycle like fuel lid makes it awkward and Out-Of-Place. Only one Reverse Indicator ( Cost-Cutting) . SHAME ON YOU Hyundai! ? And still is called the Best Quality car manufacturer!

Interior ( Features, Space & Comfort)

Good to see that this is an exceptional car to feature a low height Floor-Hump unlike the VW cars and welcomely accepts the 5th occupant but the truely intrusive Air-Vents spoil the show. Leg-room is a lot, a 6-Footer can easily sit behind another 6-footer.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

A dumb CRDi engine, it makes it down to the Service Centre a lot, took me to the Service Centre 7 times in 1 Year due to breakdown! But should be appreciated that it is easy to repair. Maybe that's why Mechanics too get a lot of income and are more interested in job! Engine is also VERY WEAK, even the cheap KUV 100 has a 80 BHP diesel engine. Fuel Economy is greatly claimed but gives about 11.5 kpl on road. Gearbox is easy to shift but feels quite rubbery while shifting from 3+ gear to 1st or 2nd and is a curse to change.

Ride Quality & Handling

NVH levels are Best-in-Class and there is almost NO engine sound in the cabin. Suspensions are quite managing for ditches and bumps but maybe are poorly fitted. I felt so because it has a LOT of Body-Roll, more than the 2005 Scorpio! ?

Final Words

Good car but needs a LOT of improvement and is not worth buying with much affordable and better quality cars like the KUV 100, upcoming Tata Hexa, Current Tata Aria and other crossovers nearby

Areas of improvement Almost INFINITE! The list is,

Decrese body roll, Get rid of that * CRDi Engine type and a more powerful engine please! We want better quality of fitting of Rubber-Beading, remove that awkward looking Fuel Lid, try to improve on road mileage ( 10 kpl less than claimed mileage! ), I BEG YOU TO LEAVE COST-CUTTING!
