Honda Mobilio S i-DTEC Reviews

Honda best

I like this car. The overall look of the car is excellent. Internal material quality is not upto the mark and also the style of the dashboard can be improved in other models. Honda should work on the features available in the car. They are not appropriate according to the cost of the car. Currently they are very less. But I must say Honda Mobilio MPV is a good family car.

Full Review

Exterior Exterior looks better than the Competition at Rear, Ertiga looks better from the front. Mobilio looks good from the sides too. Exterior looks are a certain plus for Mobilio overall.

Interior(Features, Space & Comfort) There is a lot space. But the seats are not very comfortable. Last row of seats dont have any under thigh support, but it has recline. But sitting there for long time is just not possible.

Final Words The Mobilio is a good product, but it does not add more value than the ertiga. The only place where it really scores is at the boot and the way the rear seat folds. But it loses out on Seating confort and look of the dashboard. The plastic also looks cheap in Mobilio. So the 1.5 Lakh Premium(Mobilion V and Ertiga ZDI) is not justified. Considering Maruthi's great after sale service and sales network, I do not really see Mobilio Dethrowning Ertiga.

Areas of improvement Seating Comfort, Dashboard, Quality of Plastics.

Honda Mobilio The Family CAR
Jul 04, 2016 02:27 PM 22146 Views

One of my friend have this multi utility vehicle from last three months and I am just about satisfied with its engine performance like the power, pickup and millage.

It has large cabin space with good seating capacity, it also has aggressive front but the overall look is not very attractive, ride quality and handling is also good.

Honda Mobilio is a spacious MPV and 7 people can happily travel in this car.

The Honda's Mobilio is an economy car in the MPV segment. I had been looking for such purchase for a while and with the launch of this vehicle, my dreams came true.

I am planning to purchase the V Option Petrol variant of this vehicle, which is incredibly roomy that it leaves a little space for the eight member of our family.

mobilio is affordable and has good sitting comfort in all the rows,  7 seater with reasonable milage of 15 km/l in average roads, so going for mobilio.

As my view this is the car of the year 2014. The fully loaded model just rupees 12.5 lacs(Diesel) with lots of features.

If we talk about look, then the look of mobilio is stylish with different metalic shining clors. I have silver metalic color .it is awsome.

About interier, attractive interior in car with 7 seater seat. wow awesome .

Speed.experience is very best with this car on highway. it talk with air.

WORST car a/c to looks wise !!
Apr 26, 2016 10:14 AM 33898 Views

As you see honda mobilio comes with 4 cylinder DOHC diesel engine with power of 1498 cc with quiet impressive but not enough at such a high price.

Honda gives 7 seating capacity on this car which is good but at the last seat on this car the person feels very uncomfortable and sufocated because of vey little space at the back and due to this partition seat there is no luaggage space is there .

The car body is also not very good as it damage a lot if a little collision will happen . Other problem with it is the breaking system of the car as its has disc brakes on the front and drum breakes on the rear which is good but the quality of the breaking system is too bad as it contain anti breaking system ABS with EBD also but somtimes the braking system of this car lags and disappoint the owner. So I suggest you that no to buy this worst car in the future .

Awesome suv mobilio

Mobilio's design is based on the powerful dual solid body motion and glass-like cabin mix. The sporty look is further its grill, spoiler and side character line that appears sharp. Mobilio in the 15-inch wheels are engaged.

Honda has seating for 7 people. Comfortable place in the first two lines, while the third-row seating adults may feel a little discomfort. Mobilio features and characteristics different to those of the second line on the air-conditioning vents, USB and aux inputs for music system and driver's seat height adjust, etc. are eligible.

Mobilio in petrol and diesel engine options available. I-119 PS 1.5-liter petrol engine generates I-VTEC

Great car

The Honda Mobilio has been launched in India at a price of between Rs. 6.49 - 10.86 lakhs( ex-Delhi) .

What you'll like:

• Great choice of engines. Both - the diesel & petrol - are fast and fuel-efficient

• Suspension offers compliant ride quality & neutral handling. 189 mm of ground clearance is a big plus

• Light controls, slick gearshift and easy maneuverability for the city. Effortless to drive

• 1st & 2nd row of seats have ample leg & headroom. Middle row beats most C2 segment sedans

• 3rd-row access is easier than in the Ertiga. 3rd row fold-down doesn't affect 2nd row space( like the Ertiga)

• Practical 223 liter boot with all seats up. 521 liters of capacity with the last row folded away

• Honda's reliability & fuss-free ownership experiences

What you won't:

• Low 3rd-row seat is best for kids or occasional usage only. This isn't a full time 7-seater

• Noticeably more expensive than the Maruti Ertiga

• The Brio's unconventional dashboard & interior design are too basic for this class of car

• Front styling is identical to its smaller siblings. Face should have been differentiated

• i-DTEC isn't as refined or high-rpm friendly as the Ertiga diesel. Also, overall NVH insulation is poor

• Brio-level cost cutting doesn't work at this price( thin sheet metal, slim seats, uneven shut lines, missing insulation & cladding)

• Many practical features missing( seatbelt height adjustment, adjustable front neck restraints, auto-locking doors, bluetooth connectivity, full MID etc.)

Nice car

Honda mobilio is a very good MPV ( multi purpose vehicle) . It is a 7 seater vehicle.and it is very fuel efficient car. As it gives you around 24.5 km/l. Its price starts from around 6.5 lacs and goes upto 12.5 lacs. It is value for money.

I will highly recommend you to buy. And in its competition i.e maruti suzuki ertiga and renault lodgy.it beats all of them in every point of view. And and last it will be very good for your family also and it is safer also.

Next generation MPV.

Honda Mobilio is urban MPV which has given strong competition to Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Enjoy. The main reason for its great success is all given to its looks from its all angel front has projector headlamp with led amd back also look quite handsome its like car type mpv or urban mpv I have drove it of one of my friend has bougt it.

Talking about featutes it has very less to offer as per its strong compepator Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki. Its seats are good and confortable and gives lots of under thy support but at second row of its set has nice head room and ledroom but I found it little lower from its front seat and window line is also little high which makes cabin look little smaller and talking about third row it is best for small kids for adults going on long distance would be difficult. Well talking about its interior then it dashboard is good and has good storage spaces but it cabin is more simillar to one of Honda brio and Honda Amaze little things has been changed I think Honda should have worked on ots interior design plastic are of decent quality. Honda Mobilio has long list to offer like touch screen for music and navigation which is very awesome thing to have and airbags and anti lock breaking system is also offered and steering is also very good to hold and has audio controls on it just like car while driving it feels like driving big car not any MPV which is good.Honda Mobilio has both petrol and diesel engine to offer to Indian Customer which is very good engine at stop and go traffic and its power also comes at very low rpm which is great to have but while parking it is little tough job to have.it has 1.5 both petrol and diesel engine to offer. It feel same as one on Honda Amaze it feel like we are driving Honda Amaze but in bigger body or in different body I think Honda has worked very less in it and yes noise insulation is decent yes better from one in Honda Amaze and its on noiser side .its steering is also very good and light but gives very little feedback but on shap turns it feel headace like on some narror street because one has look from every side .This is really overall very good Urban MPV ready to go on good road not on bad section of road because it has very less ground clearance . This is all what I liked and disliked about this Honda Mobilio if you guys liked my review then please like it and do write comments on it.

Have a nice day.

Finally honda entered in new segment which is mpv.his main rival in this segment is maruti suzuki ertiga.innova is most trusted and most sold mpv but its bit higer in price.mobilio starts from around 6.80 lakhs and available toll 11.80 lakhs.diesel model comes with 1498 cc engine and compny claims average around 24.2 but it easily give average over 20.this car is 7 seater and looks really very nice from outside.they could have made it better by improving its hight.petrol version engine is 1497 cc and gives average around 15.it is advisable to go for diesel variant.power is 98.6 bhp at 3600 rpm and tourque is 200 nm at 1750 rpm.top speed of this car is around 160 kmpl.15.7 cm touch panel is available in cabin of top model.dash is black and looks very trendy.rear ac vents are available.handling and ride quality of this car is obviously nice because it comes with honda mark.is budget mpv so dont expect cabin space to be as big as innova.rear ac vents are available.reverse parking camera is availble.interior of this car could have been better.honda gives warrenty of 2 year or 40k km.overall this is the car with nice ride quality with features and 7 seater so go for it if you are looking for mpv and your budget is around 10 lakhs

A standout amongst the greatest presentations at the 2014 delhi auto Expo, Honda Mobilio will be At long last set on propel done india before long. This multi utility vehicle need as of now created to such an extent buzz in the market, that to be honest we can't recall a MUV propel affording to such an extent consideration. Those Honda Mobilio may be undoubtedly a standout amongst those The greater part foreseen starts this year, something like that we think about whether every last one of brouhaha again this MUV is advocated.

We required our Facebook supporters around those positioning of the Mobilio, in the MPV segment, set against the Ertiga Also Innova. Practically for them felt that those Mobilio is A greater amount of a Ertiga rival Furthermore doesn't almost pack enough should undermine the Innova. However, that Might change since Honda will Additionally include those a great deal sportier searching Honda Mobilio RS to its line-up, which Might most likely draw the market away from Innova.

Mobilio + Bajaj Honda B2B Assurance–CHEATING SURE!
Oct 06, 2015 03:33 PM 44253 Views

Hi,

This review is on behalf of my cousin brother Mr. Joby whose life is a mess now with his newly purchased Mobilio. Joby purchased a 2014 Honda Mobilio vehicle on 23rd January 2015 from Peninsular Honda, Cochin and paid a total of Rs. 10.3L on-road. During purchase talks, the dealer said: "Sir, you just pay the money and we will take care of everything. The On-Road price 10.3L includes Honda Assurance Full Coverage worth Rs. 23, 500. So if anything happens to the engine or any other parts, it will be'REPLACED' free of cost during the covering period". He wanted a low-cost B2B alternative for insurance and said so, but the dealer said Honda Assurance is the only way to go. He had an Alto before, but due to more family members and aged parents needing frequent medical help, he was in need of a 7-seater and paid the money and got the vehicle - believing the brand Honda!

On 4th Sep 2015, four of them were en-route to hospital for his father's doctor appointment. It was raining, and about 3 km from home, on the main road, the vehicle got stopped unexpectedly. There was water on road(but less than a feet) and that seemed to be the reason. As it was a main road, the crowd gathered immediately to help and pushed the vehicle to the road side. Immediately he called the dealers and they came and towed the vehicle to their service station. He was still wondering how come this happened to such an SUV with high ground clearance in <1 feet water while all other common vehicles(including autos, altos and many other low-ground clearance hatches and sedan) could pass without any issues.

That was the starting of all issues. The dealers neither called nor gave him proper updates about the vehicle after that. H etried to reach them many times, but the response was irresponsible. Finally, after a few weeks, by end of September they said Honda Assurance will not cover the engine damages caused by hydro-lock and we need to pay around Rs. 30, 000 from our pocket! The Honda Assurance was taken from Bajaj Alliance. We paid about 23, 500 INR for FULL COVERAGE(Bumper to bumper) and they are saying this engine is outside full coverage(REALLY? Then where is engine exactly?). On top of that, they are saying hydro-lock(damage due to water) is something outside this coverage and customers needs to purchase it separately. But they NEVER ever mentioned it at the time of purchase!

We emailed Honda on these issues of pathetic response from dealer and insurance screwing up. But apart from forwarding the email to the dealer HONDA DID NOTHING! Then we called Bajaj area manager to ask about the insurance. He didn’t pick it up first, seems was discussing with the dealer’s insurance guy(as he went to the dealership and talked with them just before that), and after sometime called us back and said this damage is not covered and we need to pay. Then we called Honda on 1st Oct 2015 and the executive assured that they will escalate this issue to Honda authorities. NOTHING, NOTHING has happened so far! So for the last 32 days, we don’t have our vehicle. But our parents had many hospital visits and we really had a tough time - both from Honda Dealers and from the Dealers!

The insurance company is saying it is not accidental but a consequential incident! Will anyone en-route to hospital with his father put their 8 months old 10.3L vehicle intentionally in water? If we are not supposed to use a car in rain, then what it is meant for? Upon further check, people are saying the dealers has some tie-ups with the insurance company where they will give them certain percentage of commission for the money they get from the customer. So both are playing hand-in-hand to fool the customers. This is neither an accident, nor a problem from our side – either the quality of the engine was bad or the insurance company is fooling us.

-

These are his questions to the Dealer/Honda Assurance/Honda Company:

1, How come an SUV like Mobilio with such a high ground clearance on a main road with <1 feet water has damage, where no other vehicles had any issues?

2, When this is purely an accidental incident, how can Honda assurance say it is consequential and ask us money for engine damages? Will anyone en-route to hospital with his father put their 8 months old 10.3L vehicle intentionally in water?

3, Why Honda Assurance Full coverage is not covering the vehicle fully? Dealer mentions there are add-ons on full coverage also, then why it is not mentioned at the beginning? Basically what is the meaning of'Full' coverage here? Is Honda/Bajaj assured for'Full headache' instead of'Full coverage'?

4, The insurance company is saying they won't cover engine parts damage because it usually happens when the driver drives the vehicle even after hydro lock. That day the vehicle got stopped in the middle and after that only manual pushing and towing happened, no driving in between. Then how come the insurance company came to such an idiotic conclusion and claim-rejection?

5, We already paid Rs. 23500(if from some third party, it would’ve been very less) just for Honda assurance where they claim it is cashless insurance and customer doesn't have to know anything if any issues happen. Now, when we are having an actual issue, only Honda are the people not assuring anything and we, the customers, are the ones suffering. What kind of service is this? And they are asking approx. Rs. 30, 000 for engine parts repair, then why we need full coverage insurance? Even the term insurance is useless here.

-

We reached the Heights of frustration! Please please stay away from Honda Assurance from Bajaj and Peninsular Honda Dealer!
