Ford Figo Aspire 1.5 TDCi Trend

I piyush sharma bought this ford aspire diesel from Varanasi Gsr ford . During buying very lucrative offers were given buy company . I was told that iam suppose to get cash back if iam exchanging my old car and only 50 percent iam supposed to pay .so I sold my old . But once this company people got to know that iam in their trap they started asking unending series of papers still I provided them .as I am working class so generally to keep on safer side we always maintain paper job .Company people took extra money saying that it will be refunded by company& it’s just a paper formality .but after 7 months of buying nothing has happened .they didn’t refunded a single penny.before buying this company people use to call me n number of times& now it’s my turn I will keep on calling to get my problem solved but no solid action would be taken .both company representatives and sales manager both will just eat your head and at the end they will prove ur wrong. So Boss who ever is reading this review I would suggest better go Maruti or Honda . My ford aspire is actually a nice car but ford company and dealers altogether are creating a scam and fooling public only just to increase their sales .if some one further need to know more about this car can call me on9450590713

Got a chance to drive my friend's Figo Aspire 1.5 TDCi titanium today.

Yes Of Course.! Its the best car in the segment as far as the price is concerned.It has got an amazing engine, well contained turbo lag, Nice steering wheel with great precision. Aston Martin inspired front grill.

If you are looking for a Sub compact sedan(Dzire, Ameo, Amaze, Xcent etc.) Ford's Figo Aspire is the one you should look towards unless and until the following cons may really affect you.

1.Very Underrated petrol engine.

2.A touchscreen infotainment system as seen on other cars

3.Built quality is not that great as compared to older Ford and VW  Ameo

4 . 14" Tyres are too small for the car

5.Some Rattling issues with the fiber plastics used inside after one or two years

Very attractive looks and a powerful 1.5 TDCi diesel engine. it goes 0 to 100 km/hr in just 8 to 10 sec. boot space of the car is quite good with 359 liters and a good leg room, Comfortable car.

But there is only one thing that I don't like about this car is it is less thigh support for the back passenger seats.

1.2 Ti-VCT engine is not worth it, and it really don't have enough power pickup for fast drivers. I like the all over looks of this car, even the ground clearance is good for the off roads, boot space is 359 liters with a good leg room, but thigh support is bit less for the back passenger.

We brought our Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium on the 05th of May 2017 that day we brought a new member to our family.

Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium Compared to Polo or i20: Car looks Stunning Great than Polo or i20 which is a tough competitor in this segment. We live in Trivandrum, Kerala So we're getting an average of 18-20 Kmpl. Handling is so Great that you can go on a long trip without having pain in your arms. Since its very humid in Kerala so Car AC cools cabin in 8-10 mins which is more impressive. It got ABS+ EBD and 4 Airbags how much safety you need? From the front it got that ASTON MARTIN look which look sporty+ Luxurious at same time

Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium Legroom:For a passenger, it got enough legroom for tall people like I'm 6ft and I sit there very comfortably. Our Dealer was awesome they helped us in choosing perfect Variant for us and after sales was pretty good as 1st service was free of cost and till now we took around 3 services and it cost me only 8k meant to be if you compare other brands like Hyundai or Volkswagen or Fiat they Charge so much as compared to Ford.

Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium My recommendation:So from my side if you re planning to buy a small car for daily purpose use go for FIGO it's better than any others.

I bought Ford Figo Aspire just before 2 days back. The experiance was really awesome. My dad was bit worried about to buy Fords car because of the rumors that fords car are not that good as well as expensive service cost and parts. But they explained me very well that now a days ford plant is there in Gujrat, india. And thats the reason their parts get very cheaper than before and sevicing cost is more cheaper than the other car companies and they have prove that also by showing me the actual costing of their car parts and servicing cost by their own app. So now a days ford is very transperrent with their customers. I driven this car more than 200 kilometres and this diesel engine is simply phenomenal. This is best diesel engine in this segment which pulls this car massively and I always luv the handling of ford its feel and feedback is much better than its other rivals this car looks also good boot size is also decent enough music system works decent though the interior is looked like  a bit backdated it depends on everyone's choice nd their needs air conditioning is also does their job brilliantly and ford is always good about their build quality and safety and nowdays ford say that they provide the cheapest cost of ownership because their servicing charges are now cheaper than all of its rivals.Only thing I don't like about this car is its wheel base its very shorter than its other rivals nd its seat comfort is not up to the mark because suspension is  tunned little bit stiffer side for good handlingOverall its a very practical and drivers car I truely recommend this if anyone want a diesel sedan at this price point

Last Year I had buying a New Ford Aspire I had found that The car has powerful engine in its class it has musculine styling Stylish interior the car is cheaper than Swift dzire. Which I not like its 14 inch Tyre. The Car is equiped with First in class 6Airbag in Top Model Titanium+ Its ground Clearlance at about 175mm compared to higher than its rival Compact sedan. Its infotainment system is much like ford Ecosport. I am very happy to be a part of Ford Family

Inhave been driving this particular car for over five months .I choose to buy this car because it was giving the best in class space , best in class Air Conditioning and the smoothest ride quality.The suspension is medium soft and gives a very comfortable ride quality.The carvis really well built and safe to drive.The mileage is pretty good .The sound system is specifically very good.The engine is poverful and responsive , better to mention that I have a petrol variant.Overall this car is for the person who loves city driving and weekend long drives.

Guys aspire is my 3rd car before I own figo 2011 both are good performances. Aspire improved a lot in mileage ground clearance and ride quality. Only thing the sound when door closed is irritating. It sounds like city bus. No ergonomics. It's very low in service and maintenance.

Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Petrol MT - Engine RPM fluctuation problem. Car purchased in June 2017. Only 6700 kms. Facing this problem during driving vehicle in traffic / during reverse gear - whenever need to drive in half clutch situation. This Video captured at a traffic signal stop - check link. Accelerator was at zero position. Raised this to Talera Ford Pune dealer and Ford India Technical Team. They inspected vehicle for 3 days and communicated that there is no abnormality found and failed to solve the problem saying it is normal in all 1.2 petrol Ford cars. As of date observed this problem in another 2 Ford petrol cars. Any Ford owner facing same problem? Can anyone help me to identify the possible reason for this?

I been driving this car for 2+ years now, have only crossed 25000+ Km's, as I couldn't find a review on particular the PERTOL version, I just like to tell what exactly this version meant to be and not being misunderstood with the review on Diesel version(it did happened to me).

Feeling Now after 25000 Km driving:

Color:

The white color is still good as I use to maintain it well so no issue.

Space:

Space is still the best and I still feel the comfort for even long driving and 5 adults can travel comfortably in this car than Polo, i20, shift.

Steering control:

With in 20000 km it have become harder and like some thing got loosen, it appears now it is much tighter than when it felt during the initial test drive.

Inside cabin noise:

You will hear mostly the tyre noise, the engine noise, once the AC is on the engine RPM increases and you will hear the fan noise. so in all together I feel the noise is now even higher than what I felt in Polo or other cars earlier.

When more accele_45ration is given on lower speed even the dashboard & side trims have vibration like drrr and then it disappears once the speed it reaches.

Feeling due to big front dash board:

Even though it gives a rich look when in driving seat, on day light when we drive, the dashboard is reflecting back on the front wind shield due to its more angle, so when we drive it lacks the clear visibility(you could check when test drive at day time) also the front "A" pillar on your both front sides will hide the road when taking turnings. Even I had narrow miss to see the front coming vehicles many times when taking the turnings, so you have to always move side to look through the side window or move front your head to over look this pillar before taking the turns, this makes much problem while driving in hill areas.

Gear Shifting:

It is now harder than what I felt while test drive and even some time you could feel the metal gears coming in contact, the level decreases with KM driving.

Clutch, accele_45rate  & brake pedals:

Ok, still no much difference than what I felt during the test drive(clutch is on harder side, braking is good in responding, accele_45rator is also ok)

Engine Performance:

I am disappointed mainly I didnt test drive the petrol version. For overtaking always you have to go to lower gears and accele_45rate but you could see other cars going past you in ease.:( . From spec you will find this car is having the higher BHP & Torque in this segment, but we miss to see at what RPM? its at 6300 & 4000 RPM, so you always have to rev the engine to high RPM to extract this power here it comes for why we need to shift down the gear for overtaking.

But for hill drive this car pleases you.:) . as other cars struggle you could mostly operate it at 3rd gear and easy climbing, now in this point of view, the power & torque is usefull, so highway drivers should think of their options.

Mileage:

I dont know, but people around me tells me as best driver and with best I could get 16.5 @ highways & max 12 - 13 @ city drive(depends on traffic level and how much you wait at signals). combined drive of both city & high ways 15-15.5(all values im talking about is what car mileage showing in the instrument cluster, not any physical check and I suppose in cars, its difficult).

Overall reliability:

After 25000Km run I feel most of the parts are loosen and could feel the vibration even after I maintained it very well. to me I personally feel that ford have decreased the build quality.

This car you can see the door trims bends inside when you move the glass up fully(Check it during test drive)

I got a dent at the top just because of a small wooden piece fall on it just from 1 meter height, and then I checked and seams the sheet thickness is even less than what it was in Old Ford Figo.

Got problem of petrol lid not opening and gave it to Ford service center to correct it and got corrected and after asking the issue found that the plate like spring to open the lid got flat just within one year use so they have to bend it back to make it work again.

Screeching noise from back side boot area and found the back hatch back door is rubbing with the danger light and have to realign the door to make it ok(Hmm I dont know how within 20000Km this got problem).

All doors three stage opening mechanism went useless within 3 month of usage, and then still now the door opens fully just if you push it out. As far as the cars I have checked, Polo door is the one still keep the same 3 stage opening after many usage.

Maintenance:

When I was at~15000 Km my wiper stopped working and took it to the Ford service and it was corrected and when asked they said the wire connector got loosen, hmm ford quality seams going down.

Now I have a problem with engine that on continuous run suddenly it seams like jerking and the service light(spanner symbol) is ON and the engine RPM is limited to 3000Rpm. But when you switch off and then switch ON the symbol is gone and it works as normal and I have visited 2 different Ford dealers till now and they unable to solve the issue and from internet search it seams like THIS ISSUE NOT EVEN KNOWN FOR FORD.

My friends have all brand cars and its the cheapest after Tata and you could believe it that its not Suzuki.(Rs.2600 after 20000Km annual service).

Dealer satisfaction:

I took this car from Sarvesh ford, vellore, and I was supported by them maximum when I bought the car, but in terms of service its the worst. when you take the car for an issue and you explain them fully, but finally when you take out the car it will come out clean by washing, but your issue will remain the same as you took it inside. I am disappointed now and planning to take it to Chennai for next service.:(.

Lastly I like to tell some thing about how I felt during test drive as well.

Feeling during test drive:

When I first see this car, I did impressed with the white color, which seams showing the right masculine shape of the car with the right curves and dents shown off decently. Just for a comparison it will even look little bigger like SUV when compared to Polo, Swift and yes ofcourse the inside space is very good(one of the first my eye catching point).  I am 6 feet tall so was looking for the right leg room for the comfort and this is the only car I could found till now in the market for this segment, which will serving the purpose right. Even with the seat slide back for my maximum comfort till another 6 feet tall can comfortably sit back and relax. The steering control is smooth as butter but harder than i20 but softer than Polo or swift giving a good control with one hand driving(which I prefer and think most of us do). Inside cabin noise is almost nill as it is 4 cylinder engine and which is lacking in the competBrianbalakumaranrs models of Polo, Swift, i10. Sitting on the driver seat the car front dash board is long/big and the wind shield is slanting goes much to front and which gives a driving feeling of a Big SUV car where the other cars dashboard is small & you will feel like sitting near to the front wind shield. Gear shift is smooth and couldnt feel any metal rubbing, clutch pedal is soft, just like finger touch control on brake and slightly tight accele_45rator pedal. And on engine performance mostly the pick up is very very  good if you test drive the diesel version(this is the mistake I made) and from company the mileage they said 18 for high way & 16 for city so I thought will be good .

So for the basic things what I know I think have shared and its up to you to decide now to buy or not.All the best!

My brother bought this ford aspire recently, amazing was its seats and the comfort was more reliable than the older one ford.Genuine music player was in the car but we added the best one in our car of sony which costs up around 4900/- only.Milenge is also great as prefered for long drives, its engine is of 1499 cc and 6 speed.We always takes it upto nearly full speed of 135 km/hr.Overall this is a perfect sedan for nuclear family 5 stars.

I own a Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium. Its been more than a year that I have been driving this car without any issues so far.

According to me, the aspire has the most well engineered designed compared to cars like Volkswagen ameo or honda amaze which looks stubby when it comes to the rear end. The aspire is amazingly smooth. It has dual tone interiors which give it a premium look. The front end of the car is the center of attraction as the aspire has an Aston Martin-inspired grille with the chrome finish that go well with the headlamps which make it look stunning n decent as well. It is very difficult to make a sub-4-meter compact sedan to look good but ford has done an amazing job with the aspire.

The refined engine and the amazingly responsive brakes along with light steering makes it fun to drive. Also, the car has a pretty decent road trip. Aspire is the first compact sedan to offer 6 airbags which is commendable. There are no rear AC vents but thats, not an issue because the aspire has a powerful AC that can chill up the cabin. Mileage is disappointing with the petrol version which is even less than what it shows on papers. Overall the car is pretty fantastic when it comes to looks an ride quality.

Ford Figo Aspire 1.2 Ti-VCT Titanium My recommendation: The petrol version is not pocket-friendly but if you want to enjoy a compact sedan the Ford Figo ASPIRE is the best choice.

I bought ford figo aspire 3 months back . Looking at the claimed mileage 18kmpl  of petrol variant I thought I could expect at least 15 kmpl . But I noticed 13.5 kmpl is the best incant get, no matter how I drive . I asked the service guys during the first service today, to which they replied 13.5 is normal . WTF?  I have been ripped off . Its a car that cant even climb a slope in 2 nd gear when under 20 kmph, and still bloody mileage is so low . Pathetic crap . Don't ever buy this car . specially petrol version .

Few months ago Ford Figo Aspire she is owned by me and it is awesome car for long is well as city drive I really appreciate it's giving highest mileage in this segment like City 23 kilometre per litre and on the highway 24 kilometre per litre its look and feel very nice with comfortable Stephen wheel is different sizes compared to casual one more thing is really good in this version there is nearby compared to Ford Figo other versions overall it is best car for family and for single driving its look is like very luxurious cars like Dream Cars and its latest version which I saw in so showroom is very good and excellent quality.

I have been using this car for last two years now. This car has a very good cabin and the isolation of sound is very good. The bootspace provided by the company is quite write. Equipped with a very powerful a.c you cannot influenced by the heat. This car is so fuel efficient that after two years it efficiently gives a milage of 18.9 km/l. Equipped with a very powerful engine. It can easily reach 100 in just 8 seconds. The music system is also very very good.

I share my review about my All new Ford Figo Aspire. it is my lovable car which makes my dream comes true. It is a luxurious sedan model car which is designed superb with rich and fantastic look from Ford company.

It is smooth to ride and I feel relax even if I go for long drive due to comfortable space and seat is more enough for five members, it satisfies all our need.

It has 1498 cc Engine capacity with ABS system. It is budget car for middle class people. and it has both petrol and diesel variant.

Mileage is decent for the sedan car which give 18-22 kmpl when compare to other cars it is best mileage.

I am happy with the Leg room which is more spacious makes us feel relax while driving. Even I drive long distance I won't feel tired.

Dealer Satisfaction is main. They treated their customers well and good. They politely explained detail about the car. I am really happy and satisfied with the Dealer.

Service are provided all over the cities and they provide 2 services free for first 2500 kms and next 10000 kms. What is the beauty is maintaining cost is low compared to all other cars which is more reliable.

Coming to comfortness there are 5 seater which is more spacious and has hand rest. A/C which is superb which cools soon. Musical system is excellent which has 4 speaker, pleasant to hear songs, Bluetooth option, Radio, USB connection, Charging option, 6 Air bags and seat belts which is provided for safety purpose.

Over all it is nice car and apt for middle class people. Hope my review will help you to try this car. Buy it and have safe journey.

I recently went to ford showroom to take test drive of this car and you will be glad to know that, this is the best car which I have ever drive in my life. The main reason behind this is that when you will drive this car then you will feel like you are sitting in a car simulator. The mileage of this car is not much good but the brake horse power is fine. The seats are very comfortable for lond distance travelling. So I would recommend you to buy this car without any doubt.
