Chevrolet Captiva 2015 LTZ

This chevrolet captiva which I bought a few months before as a second hand.i love this vehicle as it has huge leg space, boot space.and the controls are almost automatic using switches and levers. This is a reliable vehicle which does not need much maintenance. I get a mileage of 12 km per liter, with automatic gear shift.speed is nice. good comfortable gives you a pleasant and safe drive.got big wheels.good looking too

Hello friends, I would like to share my experience and opinion about the Chevrolet Captiva which is  not at all a reliable car as there are many flaws in the structure. First of all, I personally didn't liked the design of the car. Secondly the car have some flaws which I faced while driving on a bad road.

Some stones were stuck at the bottom of the car and also some of them made cracks at the bottom and the oil was leaking from there. Another problem on the bad road was the suspension. It did a very bad job, I was able to feel all the bumps and potholes on the road and was feeling that the car would break down in the middle of the road. The car needs to be improved. There is no problem with the comfort level but the performance is too low.

I would like to say that this car is fabulous.it has got good engine with good looks.it's interior is also very good.the torque of this car's engine is avaliable at any rpm whether you are above 4000rpm or below 2000rpm it is always there for you.it is prices around 30lacs in India and it is a best car in its segment.

The car comes loaded with lots of features that are very useful nowadays.the car also comes with lots of space this means that there will be no problem in accordance with the loading capacity of the car, although the 3rd and 2nd row of seats of the car can also be folded down to increase the loading capacity of the car.leg room in thus car is massive and head room is also very good.

Cat has a full jet black interior with very good quality of plastic. Chevrolet has provided good maintianance services for this car.so, according to me it's a good car with good exterior, interior, features and much more.

As now sharing the true experience of this car first talk about it look which is so attractive.you fall in love when u see it.

Now the space inside car is very much.its become a bed when u put down back sheets n it gives you the confort of your bed.

The mileage of this car is nearly between 10 to 12 km per litre.So little will put a burden on your pocket n some spare parts of this car is too costly.

Now the most important thing is that whether the car is safe or not.yaah its a safe a care.Recenly one of my friend met with the accident as he was driving this car suddenly he got struck to pillar n the car took 3 turn 1 in the air and two on land.The car was badly damgaed by seeing th condtion of the car will too attach the pics anyone could not beleive on their eyes the person inside the car is still alive.because of the strong body of the car n with opening air bags at useful time.he did not get hurt much.so this car was the life saver car.

Hi Guys! Greetings of the day. Well I would like to give out some information about Chevrolet Captiva. Chevrolet Captiva, A big name in automobiles. However, owning this machine is a disaster. The only good things about this product is the solid body, the comfort and a lot of space in the cabin. This machine is very hard to maintain as the service cost is a lot plus the parts are hell expensive. The life of engine is very less as compare to other similar SUVs. Hence, I would not recommend this vehicle to any one.

I bought this car in April & had a horrible experience so far, the car has a poor design for Indian roads & I have suffered twice with hefty bills due to some stone hitting the bottom of the car which damaged the Oil pump assembly.It is a failed company and a big compromise for people who can either afford better or even about as much.Chevrolet is a compromise in between Honda CRV and an Outlander because both the vehicles are petrol. Also the services provided are not upto mark. The dealers are rude and not helpful.The performance is not good at all. The looks are good and its definitely not an offroader if you are looking for one. in summary dont buy it. thank you and do comment.

Chevrolet Captiva is a vehicle with classy features and luxury. This vehicle was once with us over our journey to delhi . we had booked it from a agent .we thought that selection of this car for journey was wrong but it was this car proved it wrong.starting with its Exterior design its is very attractive it is a suv with stylishness and mid sized station wagon .THE VEHICLE LOOKS STRIKING FROM ALL THE FACETS THAT DRAWS MORE ATTENTION FROM ONLOOKERS. I like its design because it simple and classy not like cars mobilio and jazz .The body coloured outside rear view mirrors are electrically adjustable and integrated with side turn blinkers.The body coloured bumper has wide perforated air dam,which is also finished in black colour,by its design it can suite on any family.moving on to its interior design, it has both luxury and comfort, it provides various forms of interior finishing like vice velour charcoal,premium cashmere, castle maroon,our car was velour charcoal,it had matching seat covers and charcoal colour mat, greyish silver velvet on internal roof. The internal design is made in such a way that we could sit with relax position with our hand luggage,in 3 row of internal structure where in 1st row,the driver and 1 passenger can sit in 2 row max 3 passenger can sit and in 3 row 2 passengers can sit.This model series is bestowed with a number of refined features which give occupants comfort driving experience.it is bestowed with all four power windows with driver side auto down function,rear parking safety sensors,poer adjustable outside rearview mirrors and many other aspects.For cooling the entire cabinet quikly there are rear A,C ventsas well.there is 2-din music system with am/fm tuner,cd/mp3 player along with inbuilt 8 speakers portable with bluetooth connectivity for paring smart phones.it has multifunctioning steering wheel,through with which user can have control over audio,incoming calls and cruise control buttons.The drivers seat can be adjusted in eight different positions according to his comfort and height.

Talking about the car glasses so the windshield along with side glasses and rear glass are in transparent,can be altered according to customer's requirements.

The car comes with manual while the automatic transmission model is priced at 27.36 lac.

The SUV will offer both 4x2 and 4x4(AWD) driving modes.Under the hood,the car is powered by the tried and test 2.2 lt diesel engine which gives an impressive output of 186.5bhp at 3800 rpm and torque of 400Nm at 2000rpm.The engine is either mated to 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox in the All Wheel Drive(AWD) model.

Captiva allows manual variant to deliver 11.3 Kmpl in city traffic conditions,while 14.6 Kmpl on highways.The automatic version can generate 9.8 Kmpl within city and its mileage goes up to 12.12 Kmpl on bigger roads that is quite good for this segment.

AS FOR SAFETY MEASUREMENTS THERE ARE:-

Chevrolet Captiva has 2231 cc VCDi diesel engine with 6 speed automatic gear box which produces 184 bhp at just 3800 rpm and 424Nm of torque at just 2000 rpm which is very good in this segment . The performance of this car is excellent . The exterior and interior of the car is very well designed. The cabin space is excellent . The middle row has excellent head room , leg room which is comfortable. The infotainment system is very good provided by the chevrolet . The maintanence cost is more of this car . The mileage in the city is 9.2 and on the highway it is about 12 which is good . This car comes with high power and also with high maintanance.

Its really an awesome car, with great and amazing features installed in it. The car has a great look with great model and amazing design. The car has many features auch as gear and music system, large interior space, designed bonnet, cheap price and it suits the personality of the buyer. My uncle also bought this car and I found this car a great one. I like this car very much. This is not only the car but my friend also.

This is to bring to your kind attention of my utter shock and disbelief while being slapped with a service charge of upto Four Lac Rupees, when I had taken my 4 year-old Chevrolet Captiva to your service station  at Kun Chevrolet Service Centre, Hyderabad, after experiencing a sudden  break-down of the vehicle.

Previously, we had done 45000 kms service at Cargo Motors, Gandhidham, where they had not replaced Engine Head Cover, due to the negligence and inefficient service by M/s. Cargo Motors, Chevorlet Service Centre, Gandhidham, now the coolent has gone into the Engine & all this problems has occurred. My conclusion the Technicians at Ghandhidham Service Centre are not properly trained and qualified. More over in my warranty period, I complained personally to the head of Gujarat Chevorlet General Motors, about the inefficient service personal  at M/s. Cargo Motors, Chevorlet Service Centre at Gandhidham, Gujarat.

More over in my warranty period.

Recently we drove to Kerala in a automatic Captiva. The vehicle has a 3 liter engine which tells how powerful the vehicle is! The handling of the vehicle is great, the vehicle has good ground clearance, what I love most about Captiva are the broad tires which are great for Indian roads.

Captiva is a very spacious vehicle, and we drove approximately five thousand kilometers on this trip and never felt uncomfortable. This is a high performance vehicle and very powerful. However, the maintenance of this vehicle is a great concern.

The parts for this vehicle are very expensive and you need to be on your toes when it comes to taking care of the vehicle. If you compare it to other vehicles you might buy something else. The Mileage is also less than the other SUV's. If you are very rich and can afford the high maintenance then you should buy this vehicle just for the raw power and driving pleasure.
