Having the Chevy Beat for 4 years now, overall experience with the car is very good.This car  is good for long drives.The top it LT model has all power windows, rear wiper, rear spoiler, rear defogger, front fog lights and automatic climate control along with audio CD system with 4 speakers.Feature wise and price wise it was a great deal compared to its competitors i10 and WagonR at the time of purchasing.Went through many cars but found Beat to be the best of all.

In city I get mileage of around 11.5-12 kmpl with AC on at all times while on highways with AC on 17kmpl with AC on and speed constant about 100kmph while 19.66kmpl with AC off and speed maximum to 80kmph.These figures are very accurate as per my experience of 4 years with it.

The car is good in maintenance as well, only beware of the Chevrolet Service centers they unnecessarily do extra jobs and increase your bills, make sure you do the service only as per the service book for the first 3 years from the Chevrolet authorised service station for the warranty purpose.Once the car is out of warranty find a reliable service station near your home and get it serviced there every 5000kms or every 1 year.

I had once got a quote from Chevrolet of Rs.7500 for the service after 3 years which my local service station did in just Rs.4400.

Overall a good car, there is a minor pickup issue when AC is on, you could fell it while overtaking, but shift down does the work at that time.

I am glad that it proved me right on counts, as far as my expectations were concerned. Starting with the looks, it is just amazing. It has a wonderful sporty kind of exterior which looks awesome.

It is quite spacious and has enough leg room. Also, it is fuel economical which is a very important aspect in any car, given the steady and definite rise in petrol and diesel prices. After comparing several cars in our budget, we bought a Chevrolet beat car. The look and design is itself so attractive and provides bucketful features. Roads here in our state are not in good condition and there are many potholes but the suspension and responsiveness in those potholes is well handled by Chevrolet.  It also gives good mileage in terms of driving on a highway- close to 20. For us it is most fuel-efficient car from what we have used.

The seats are really comfortable with good leg space. Also, the efficient engine makes it a worth for money car. I would highly recommend the car if you are looking for a car in the budget of around Rs 5 lakhs.

What can I say for Beat Diesel Car I bought Beat Car in 2012 and we get warranty for 100000 Km or 3 year till last service we follows all guidelines given by service center we paying extra than local mechanics(after knowing that that co service center is costlier and not much capable than local mechanics)  but after 58000 km turbo of the car has been failure and due to this engine got cease(As per co this thing happen due to oil sump hit) at that time co cover the same under warranty but suggest us that use  protection plate of Rs. 2000.00 we greed for the same and use protection plate under oil sump.

Then we got a call for extended warranty for 2 year or 50000 km then we go for it and get extended warranty after paying approx. Rs. 6200.00. now again last month turbo of the car has been failure and also engine got ceased we approached to the co than they reply all things happen due to again oil sump hit now this time they are not covering under warranty because this is not mfg. defect and repairing on chargeable basis then co not justified whats the benefit of the protection plate and extended warranty. All local mechanics said the same words that car has only 1 draw back and that is turbo failure and engine ceased after that co avoiding you,  I suggest this car is useless car and dont buy it

Beat duniya ki sabse bekaar gaadi hai isko kabhi mat lena fir chahe vo diesel ho ya petrol. Mere pass beat petrol hai 2010 or isne mere kaano ko hath lagwa diya mileage only 12 isse jyada  nahi.dont go for it and you will be happy. you can choose swift. eon. alto. and any other but dont it. Service cost is too high and you cant drive it more than 100 km regularly it gets heated.

AcM is very poor and oil peene mei to bhukhi hai. sabse badi baat resell value 0 hai. maine new car 4.67 ki li thi petrol mei ab isko koi 1.67 mei ni puch raha hai.mai chevrlolet agency gaya vo saale bhukhe nange bolte 1 lakh rupees. hamesha maruti ki gaadi lo khush rahoge ya fer hyundai ki. beat se acha to nano lelo. bhai haath judwa diye mere. lelo koi isko. Ye mat sochna ki bohat se logon ne iske ache reviews daale hue hain. vo sab company ki chaal hai . Unka khud ka dept  baitha hai IT vo ye sab hi krte hain. mat lena isko kabhi. saale meri gaadi nahi bikwa rahe maine 1.70 bhi bol diya.27000 chali hai sirf.

I bought Chevrolet beat in 2010 and it has been 5 years now I am enjoying my drives. The car is excellent value for money. Till date the only expense I have incurred is on fuel, timely servicing and change in engine oil. I was very skeptical before buying the car. The reviews or suggestions I received, suggested to always buy cars from Toyota, Honda, Nissan & Hyundai. However, the look and feel of the car, thankfully superseded all the comments or reviews that I had earlier received. Chevrolet Beat is definitely a prized possession for me and I do not see myself parting from it soon.

The only drawback I see it whether I will be able to fetch a good resale price when I make my mind to sell the car in future.

The car has superb build quality. Amazing looks, an engine with accurate ratio to do the job in a frugal manner. The dealer response is something that need to be improved especially on availability of spare parts& it's cost.

My car had a small vibration in front wheel& the tyre end rod need to be replaced. This is very much a normal thing on our roads.

But the irony is to replace a part worth 2000 inr Chevy wants us to replace the entire power steering gear with a bill of 14537 inr on a single reason that the child part is not available as per Chevrolet policies& procedures.

I just booked it. Interiors are pretty good. Its spacious and comfortable. AC is powerful. Music system is good but steroes are okay.

Back seat is very comfortable and spacious. Boot is also good. Features like airbags, and rear shelf are good.

I ride it to jaipur, mumbai from Delhi many times. The maintenance is also very cheap of this car as compare to another cars. The pickup of this car is very excellent.

Interiors are pretty good. Its spacious and comfortable. AC is powerful. Music system is good but stereos are okay.

Backseat is very comfortable and spacious. Boot is also good. Features like airbags, and rear shelf are good.

This is only the option in this segment for Automate Temperature control system and in this budget.

It is been more than six months that I am driving my new Chevrolet Beat. The colour of my car is Sandrift grey. Coming from the house of Chevrolet a brand known for its reliability and durability Beat is an essential part of the family.

The car is available in different colours from super red to cocktail green to summit white and caviar black. It gives an amazing drive with mileage of 25.44 kmpl in diesel and in petrol  18.6 kmpl. It is a hatch back car with extremely comfortable setting facility inside. It claims to be and actually is a fuel efficient car and has very low maintenance and running cost.

The customer service is extremely good, one just have to give a call and they come at your door step and provide you with all the necessary information. Chevrolet is also known for its safety in cars. Beat comes with 2 air bags in case of any mishaps they would open up and save the lives of driver and the person seating beside driver. One just have to post an inquiry on their website and rest everything will be done by their executive.

Most Stylish Fuel efficiency car comes in the name of Chevrolet Beat. Gives Mileage around 20 - 24 km/liter. Better suspension, compatible Engine, interior design, music speakers, AC  . This point mainly according to me makes the car worth it to its price .

Low Noises and smooth riding,  Ground clearance is good . Room for leg in front seats is large and comfortable, Exterior look is too sporty with metallic looks Best budget car which comes around only in 4.4 lakh Rupees . i'm from Bhubaneswar and service centers for chevrolet is very few but they are best in business and no flaws regarding this. Must go for it . because performance wise it is best in budget!

I have recently bayed Chevrolet beat there is only one particular reason that I have bayed this car because of it price. it easily comes in my budget and easily available reliable.

The best thing about this car is its average and its look. I love this car as it is small car easily handle and the look is very rich. it has and very good quality that is that it has an smart engine. which comes in very less cars

The worst thing about the car is that it has very low level. the ground levelence is very low as compared to other car . its pick up is spee is also not so good .

My driving experience is very good because of that smart engine process. yo dont have to shift to many gears. and if you are not acceearation then also your car will move automatically. This vehicle can buy anyone. as it is easy to drive and comes under small cars

To go:

(1) the most amazing thing in beat diesel is its very low running cost.it fetchs more than 24Km/ltr. Average on highways and 20km/ltr in less traffic cities.

(2)very low noise of the small but very compatilble engine. Little noise at the start which everntually becomes silent than a petrol car.

(3)the featherlite steering doesn't takes any energy.you just need to take your two fingers to drive it. With high speeds >100 km steering get stiff for safe rides. Driving is very comfortable compared to swift, i-10.superb car for city rides.

(4) legroom is large in front. A driver with 6 ft will easliy drive it. Perfect bootspace for 4 adult man.The space is more like polo and swift.

(5) Bootspace is less. I think the smallest in this car. But 60:40 split gives you relaxation if you are traveeling three. Two suitcase and two bags can be easily fitted.

(6) suspension and ground clearance is good. No issues as on date.

(7) exterior look is sporty: The best thing I like in this wagon, metallic colours give it a classy look. No compromise on interior too, in nights it Lighting LED dashboard gives a cheesy look. In hatchback segment beat gives you the best sporty look better than grand i-10, wagon-r, Figo and other same price range cars.

Not to go:

(1) Ac will not give you chill feeling if the temperature goes beyond 43-45. As the car doesn't have auto climate control option anymore, so it may give suffering at peak temperatures. But at the same time to avoid it you can have heat resistant side and dashboard glasses. Swit, Figo and i-10 gives you more satisfaction in peak temperatures too.

(2)The LT diesel model comes with a pioneer music system which give you a comfortable pleasing sound. Music lovers have to take option of additional buzzers.

(3) servie centres are few but very responsive. Pickup and drop facility is free of cost. Service charges are low as compared to ford and hyundai.

All in all a best car for a family of four which will give you excellent fuel efficiency and superb drive comfort. Must buy in this range.

Owned Cheverlote beat diesel version one week back. awesome mileage very good permanence and pick up with 1 litre diesel engine.(before purchase I am in doubt due to 1 litre engine).

Little bit worry about clutch which is very hard, don't know may this issue clear in 1st service.

Very happy about Cheverlote service scheme and warranty

Look and Style: A fresh look compared to the other hatchbacks. The back doors take some getting used to, but are a welcome change. Comfort: Front seats are almost perfect.

Back seats can be a little uncomfortable during long drives. If people over 5ft 10" sit at the back their knees poke the driver’s back. Lack of space at the back. But its negligible. Pickup: Good pickup.

The car goes from 0-80 in no time. In traffic conditions the pickup can be a little annoying. Mileage: Best in class mileage. I’ve had my car since June 2012 and it has given a consistent mileage of 20 km/litre and sometimes more. As long as you don’t drive like a jerk, the mileage is like a dream. Best Features: Music system is good. Mileage is the USP.

Needs to improve: The servicing cost can hurt your wallet after 20, 000 kms. And chevrolet service centres try to take you for a ride while servicing your car. Spare parts aren’t easily available. Overall Experience: Overall, the car is fantastic. I’ve driven mine over 30, 000kms in just a year and a half and I’m not having any problems(Touchwood!). The only drawback is Chevrolet’s service. They need to work on that. But if someone is looking for mileage and good drivability, there’s no need to look any further. The Beat surely gets a thumbs up!

I bought Beat Diesel 2 years ago falling for its small and elegant looks. But this car is very faulty by its design. The main problem is clutch, which is very hard, it makes it almost impossible to drive this car with situations of high traffic like in Delhi and NCR. You can't drive car below 20kmph. You leg starts paining after couple of minutes because it is very hard to push it everytime to change gears so frequently.

I reported this issue to service station at Faridabad, got it fixed temprarily but situation remains same. I started to have leg pains due to hard clutch which is also compalined by my spouse. Coming to mileage which is also not above 17-18kmpl not so great.Overall it is flop car .Chevy could have done better.

Just cant beat it in style. the best looking car in its class. The styling is bang on for what it sets out to be - a no-nonsense urban hatch.

The compact size is perfect for the daily city grind. Exteriors, we really need to thank Chevy for such sporty design, rear is not so good but front and side is so good, even beat haters will like its design. Interiors are best in class.

Beat is budget, family, good looking and lovable car. There on going controversy regarding mileage especially as the Beat is advertised with 25.4 fuel economy. but the mileage of a car has lot to do with how it is driven. car gives a mileage of 19.8 in city driving

I am driving chevrolet beat for more than 3 years and their has been no problem till now. The car has a lot of space inside it for 5 people at a time.

It also has very stylish look which is the choice of modern generation. It is also uploaded with a lt of exciting features like dual deck audio system, Bluetooth enabled calling system, a stylish meter board and comfortable seats. After a long journey also, you would not feel tired as the seats are very comfortable.

The AC is very good as the car gets child within minutes. The diesel variant is the best one as it reduces the driving cost and make the drive a economic one.
