Worst Sales representatives at Capitol Honda

I bought Honda City 1.5 iDTEC(V) Manual transmission Vehicle in June'14 from Capitol Honda, Meenambakkam, Chennai dealer. I had many bitter experiences with the Sales representatives at Capitol Honda, Meenambakkam, Chennai dealer.


They have posted immature sales representatives who don't even know the basic manners and ethics in how to communicate with a Customer.


In my case, I had many bitter experiences with them, let me share one of that.


I paid them extra 3, 500/- rupees as a part of outstation registration charges(Chengelpet, RTO) to the Dealer. Dealer is supposed to provide the original RC book to the customer in a span of 45-60 days from the date of registration.


Now its more than 100 days, they have still not given me the RC book. Not once they called and informed me about the delay they just kept mum, I have been following them for this for the past two months. This is the horrible service we would get from this dealership inspite of paying addditional money or the service. It's not only the poor response and service, these people don't even know how to interact and communicate with a Customer.


I would sincerely advice people, not to choose this dealer for buying any Honda products. I am planning to escalate these issues to the Honda Marketing team.

Horrible customer service by manikandan and capital honda omr. I called shyam and checked if I can come for test drive. He checked and said yes. I went all the way from sembakkam to srp tools for test drive. After going there at 5.30 they made me wait for 20 mins. After that manikandan came and told me that test drive is not possible as cars are parked inside.


When explained that I came from sembakkam he gave reason as if we take the cars out then I can go home only at 7. By the way only 2 cars were parked inside and  easily they could have taken the car out. When I called shyam again he said I will arrange it. After waiting for another 20 mins and doing many calls again they came and said no sir not possible. Is this called customer service?

CAPITAL (Aadit) HONDA Body Shop inOMR are Cheats

This issue caused by body shop department of Capital Honda in OMR regarding the work done on my one month old Honda Brio Silver. See below for my list of issues faced so far at their place.


Quality Issues at body shop:- 1) LH fender paint colour difference visible


2) New scratches made in right side bumper top and fender.


3) Grease inside the car spilled over the beige interiors


4) Dirty Hand marks over the  beige interiors. Billing Discrepancy:-


When I asked Sateesh before leaving the car for the reason behind estimate of Rs. 7000/- to be borne by me apart from insurance. He said it is mainly due to the painting difference, Mirror and Compulsary excess. So I agreed and left the car with him.


During taking delivery on 13th June, I noticed a lot of painting quality issues and new scratches which was agreed by Mr. Satheesh to be rectified during my subsequent visit to install the new ORVM (out of stock on that day). Then again, I asked him how come I am paying almost 40% of the total cost?


For that he repeated that it is mainly due to the painting excess and referred me to check IRDA website for new policy regarding paint effective Feb 2013. I went b


ack home and did a detailed internet research and being an ex-Fiat Car for past 7 years owner never have I had to bear so much of paiting cost. I decided to call up Bajaj car insurance guys to verify this new policy and they gave me this below mentioned detailed split of costs.

When I referred to the Honda Bill which I received and compared with the above table, I can only see painting charges, ORVM mirror, labor and tax in Capital (Aadit) Honda bill.


But in the bill submitted to Bajaj by same Honda says an extra item of "Dupont Teflon Coating" worth Rs. 3, 870. I never asked for such a coating on my car.


I called up the body shop representative to understand why Teflon coating was added to my bill because I never asked for it and also the bill which I received from Capital (Aadit) Honda does not say anything about teflon coating. His response was that it is regular process and mandatory to apply teflon coating for all cars which comes to body shop with painting work.


I was surprised and asked him, why did not he show it in my bill? For which he said, I agreed to pay 7000 before leaving the car with him. So I have no other choice now. I was taken aback, and told him that 3M charges Rs. 3, 500 for entire car coating. And Honda themselves charge Rs. 5, 000 for entire car coating. So how come you charged almost 4, 000 for just coating one door and one fender.


And I further added that I am writing an email to Honda directly to ask if teflon coating is madatory in body shop as claimed by Sateesh. I was shocked when Sateesh suggested that he will ensure to give discounts for my subsequent service bills at Honda. I told him point blank that I am expecting a refund and rectification of all painting quality issues.


Till date I have not received any refund or proper response from Capital Honda.
