Sony DSC-S 70

I buy this product for capturing the photos of my sister marriage. The price is very high and feature were not appropriate at all. When I use this camera I feel some difficulties that I want to share. First of all the camera looking so shiny and it is very easy to use. Picture quality is good but not so good. it is very difficult to take pictures in direct sunlight. I feel one more problem when I click the button the shutter sound is came one and half second after taking the shot. But the battery life is very good. Overall this product is good but not so good. I am not happy with this product.

This is not at all a good product.I thought it to be a very good camera but it presented itself below my exceptions.Its shutter speed is slow and the main one picture quality is also not good , pixels are not clear.They are very bad.The pics are not clear.Also the zoom quality, already the pixels are bad and as we zoom it it becomes more and more bad.The pixels are fully torn.This camera has not the quality which it should have as its price.So, I am not at all happy with this product.

I want to share my experience about sony DSC S70 camera. My cousin is a photograher and doing his job at salkanpur mandir madhya pradesh. So when I went there I see this camera for capturing pictures of temple and feel some difficulties that I want to share.First of all the camera looking so shiny and it is very easy to use.But it is very difficult to take pictures in direct sunlight. At mountain where sunlight is high and direct throw on lcd of camera it is very difficult to see images clearly.I feel one more problem when we click the button the shutter sound is came one and half second after taking the shot.I also feel that the time between two pictures is very few seconds.The battery came with this is good but as a heavy user my cousin always put one extra battery along with this.Picture quality of the cameras pucture is very clear but if we dont see images in sunlight how can we take proper pose.We may say according to my experience that it is average for me

It does not provide good quality images. You should have think twice before buying it. So I didn't like the product at all.

Many people told me that they had face so many problems with this camera some face picture quality issue and sine face battery life issue.

The sony s70 is meant to be an easy to use camera. There is not a ton of shooting options, but its easy to understand options. The lcd colour display is very small. It is very difficult to perview images on the display. Its hard to see picture details. The sony s70 is an entry level camera, there are no manual exposure modes. There are not a lot options during movie capture. Not quite an ultra slim model. Horrible camera sounds and weak flash.

I not prefer to buy this camera of sonh because images are blur and quality of image also not good.

Also have to much problem related to features

Battry life is not upto mark

Picture quality is also not good

Price is high because maintainence expenses is high because cause to much problems after buy

My Aunt gifted me this camera from sony about a year ago, she brought this camera from US for me.

But I am having problems with its features.

When I use the night mode, auto focus, aperture speed, and so on, to get the most of DSC-S70 features, it never get better, only worst: like blur image, unsharped photos and low quality pictures.

I am not happy with this product from sony although I am using it just because I got it as a gift.

I failed to likeable the merchandise in the least. it's therefore complicated to use. One simply wants an entire time off to grasp its options. Image quality is additionally not up to the mark. Takes lots of your time to finish off and switch on.

Some times there's some uncommon sounds from within the camera. Overall a nasty product. although the S70 encompasses a Zeiss lens, the photographs taken don't seem to be as sharp because the ones infatuated S50. The S70 may be a later Model compared to S50. Still the results don't seem to be sensible. Any user of S70 will touch upon my findings. I don't think that Is there any changes to be done to urge the sharp image. I even have seen footage infatuated S50 and that I have taken pictures with S70. when put next, the results of S50 is unquestionably higher.

I did not liked the product at all.

It is so complex to use.

One just needs a whole day off to understand its features.

Image qualty is also not up to the mark.

Takes a lot of time to shut down and turn on.

Some times theres some unusual sounds from inside the camera.

I have used SONY DSC-S70 quiet extensively and have found this great. Its quiet compact and although not great in Zoom the pictures taken were sharp. Its memory stick, packaged software, USB cable, all were handy on 'processing' the images. I used it on my road trip to Oman and the pictures were breathtaking. The combination was the DSC-S70 with my Toshiba Tecra 8000E.

The minuses of the camera was its lack of a good Zoom and its comparitive inferior quality in indoor shooting where light is not that bright. Another one is its view finder is not tiltable like some of the earlier MVC models.

Ultimately its a good product.

Though the S70 has a Zeiss lens, the pictures taken are not as sharp as the ones taken with S50. The S70 is a later Model compared to S50. Still the results are not good.

Any user of S70 can comment on my findings. Is there any adjustmets to be done to get sharp image ? I have seen the pictures taken with S50 and I have taken pictures with S70. When compared, the results of S50 is definitely better.
