I had buyyed it past 2 years ago and it is still with me as I picked earlier.I am very happy by the service they provide to their customer.Even I had buyyed it for my friends also and they were like magic, asking me from where did you buy it, quite exciting to know, but I dint told them after few days they were not talking with me and then I reveled the site Yqh! The camera is excellent in photography but due to missing of microphone jack its good in videography. The performance of th camera is nice and picture quality is awesome. The camera come with kit lenses and the image and video is excellent and it easy to use and due to guide mode it helps to learn more. The battery life is awesome u can capture up to 1500 images in one charge and didn't think that any entry level camera give tou this muchh battery life. Overall the camera is awesome and you can capture good quality image with this

The bad solw kit lence; occensionally slow to focus; Only 6 megapixel ; raw editing software costs extra ; control scheme can be awkward ; no automatic sensor cleaning.The bottom line The Nikon D40 is great transition cemra for going form point-and-shoot to your first DSLR.
