Nikon is launch this as an upgrade, but its really a downgrade from the D3400. Nikon took a good camera and removed features to cut cost, then incremented the model number and pushed it on the public as a step up. Not satisfied. nikon D40 is not set for video purposes or out door video. Because iso is not soo good. its just for photography purposes camera for single hand use. Beside this I found this camera is very light in WORK which us bigger problem at the time of exposure of event's. I purchased this camera last two months before but I found sorry after getting results and bad video out put. so I suggest to all please don't buy this I suffer this CAMERA still now. So please don't buy.

When you're starting your own camera experience u should buy this one because its good and its not going to expensive things aslo I buy it because I want learn camera its basic camera but as good for beginners and it help me how to learn DSLR and picture quality good for this price. The camera was an excellent picture quality the camera has an outstanding performence but 1 think is there the battery life was low when you turning on the flash othewise this is a very famous brand and my friends including me using this camera when goes to photoshoot you can blur the background using this camera

I brought it from Snapdeal in 2016 Diwali offer. I got at 19990/- with DSLR Body & 18-55mm lens. I used it for 2years and I noticed pros and cons.

Pros:

1. It have good sharpness in entry level.

   
   




2. It have higher ISO than any other entry level DSLR.

   
   




3. 11 Auto Focus Point to get Sharpe images.

   
   




4. You can record video upto 1080p and quality is also very good.

   
   




5. If very good battery backup service. You can easily capture 500pic photo using the battery.

   
   




6. Hadrly camera, you can easily use 3-5years without going to service centre.

Cons:

product is genuine and orginal. Also get freebies ie carry bag and memory card. I can say that this is a perfect DSLR for beginners.

I have purchase Nikon D 7200 on August 2018 and I am using this camera till now. It has strong metallic body and its picture quality is very good. It capture Image in high pixels. It's purchase setting is not difficult very easy in auto mode and manual mode an easy for any users, cameras inbuilt flash quality is very good, zoom quality and adjustment is very good, shutter speed is also very best, it's battery life is very good it can capture near about 2000-2300 picture on one time fully charged, and no maintenance within one year after one year the service cost is near about 500 rupees. Overall Nikon D 7200 is best camera in DSLR.
