Nikon is launch this as an upgrade, but its really a downgrade from the D3400. Nikon took a good camera and removed features to cut cost, then incremented the model number and pushed it on the public as a step up. Sadly, I assumed it improved upon the previous model and didnt note the removed features until I had the camera in hand.
