Sovereign Developers, Bangalore

Well until today there wasn't a need for me to buy in on reviews over this project as unlike other co-owners I was considering most of the reviews get written on payments.

Anyway long story short.

I was sold to an idea of buy your flat for all inclusive price of 17L for 856sqft. I had options to choose Radiant builder just beside at that time who was giving 1100sqft for about 21lacs, Radiant delivered the flats about 1.5years ago..wish I did not fall for Sovereign. now funny thing is Sovereign is costing close to 23l for 856sqft.. which is more then what radiant offered to begin with...and still no sign of handover..maybe we get few more unethical demands and project will never more ahead.

My advice to folks reading this..Please Please get your facts right before you spend your money. Don't go for untrusted builders with bad reputation.

Some notes they sent so far..

1. 
   Builder sold there property for about 17l or so inclusive of all amounts like car park, registration stamp-duty KEB/BWSSB etc..
   



2. 
   Builder sends us asking for 35000 as he wants to give a washing machine point..machine might be costing less but 35000...fine I let go.
   



3. 
   Builder sends us another demand asking to 8.5L... hmm that's like pay 50% of project sum again in 3weeks.
   



4. 
   Demand also says if we don't pay 8.5L we can cancel the booking and he will return with 9% simple interest.. did I fund his first project for nothing ?
   

End of the story...

Now the plan of action as I see. Approach a lawyer ask him to file a case on this behavior and pray to god that this is going to go well.

The sovereign developers management have list their mind and balls. They are publicly extorting money from the hapless buyers. The construction is pathetic, lethargic, without any hint of responsibility. The Vice President seems to have lost his mind who doesn't have sense of what a middle class family goes through with his illegal demands.

We are literally on the verge of committing suicide, courtesy Mr.PC Roy Ghatak - who is directing his company to publicly extort money from simple middle class toothless buyers.

Sovereign Developers is a shameless company. I am a genuine victim of these extortionists. Please never buy anything from them. Sooner Mr.VP is going to be behind bars for his illegal business & ethics.

I had invested my hard earned money in "sovereign Unnathi" in the year 2010, with a great hope of getting my dream home by 2013. As per sell agreement , at the time of booking my Basic purchase cost was 32 Lacs(1712 sqft).

After that they had delayed the project as per their own wish and in between demanded few lacs of Rs extra towards modification. Now after 3 years with 60% completion status, they had come up with an extra demand of 17 Lacs on top of 32 Lacs towards escalation for material & labour cost ( 8.5 lacs for 2 BHK 856 sqft flats) . Can any one imagine an escalation 55% of your targeted cost. The flat, which suppose to cost me Basic 32 Lacs, now going to COST basic 49 lacs + taxes, electricity, water , registration , statutory charges.

They had asked all the owners to pay that extra amount or to walk away with the amount we paid as on date with 9 % normal interest.

This clearly shows that they don’t give value to the customer. For them its profit and more profit ---- Let it be in unethical way.

I am giving this review with a broken heart and fallen dream. I don’t know how they are operating their new project " Sovereign sonna" ? I doubt! Who ever has already invested, they are help less / option less! But who ever thinking to invest ... Please don’t commit this suicide ... Your investment is unsafe here.... Your blood and sweat will become water.

To verify the above statement , can cross check with any sovereign Unnathi flat owner.

Dreams fallen apart...no value for money...This project was a dream, when I booked.

But today... I am regretting my investment....A perfect example of how to run a business in unethical way.....

Today I am not sure , what will be the fate of all 1600 unlucky owners....
