!PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ANY PROPERTY WITH SOLITAIRE!
I booked 2 flats under subvention scheme(no emi till possession) at solitaire homes Pashan. At the time of sales, the sales person was as sweet spoken as possible. I booked during pre-launch and they promised an Iphone XR and referral amount for 1 flat. The moment my account was debited with the booking amount, started my most horrible experience ever.
1) NHB released a circular to discontinue subvention in the month of July’19(NHB/ND/DRS/ PolicyCircular No.96/2019-20), so initially they said they would cancel the booking, then they said they would offer subvention from their end despite all banks denied the loan for pre-emi scheme. On their proposed offer, they also denied to include any norm to be drafted into registration agreement or even on normal MoU. Moreover, they also denied the IPhone XR and referral by this time. All this mess and headache lasted till March’20 after which our booking was cancelled, and the entire booking amount was forfeited.
2) We realized that the entire project was not RERA approved but was just proposed at the time of booking, so registration was not possible. Despite that their staff insisted to deposit money in the name of Ashok Chordia for registration purpose.
3) The backend team lead Somnath Bhattacharjee was extremely rude and arrogant. We were called 8-9 times for meeting to discuss on the alternative for subvention. During meetings he never paid attention to the issue, came up with his conclusions, worst of all was talking on phone in the meeting room and discussing his drink plans and weekend plans in the middle of meeting in meeting room, I wish there was grievance department to handle such hopeless people.
4) Solitaire Homes sales person illegally tampered our booking application form by updating the referral section by one of their channel partners in their handwriting. As the handwriting on the referral section and rest of the form was different, the fraudulent was clearly visible. Yet despite complaining about this malpractice, Solitaire didn’t take any action against the salesperson but in-turn refused our referral amount.
Now we have lodged a complaint with consumer court and also RERA for the headache and harassment by Solitaire and its employees.
