Review On Sobha Developers, Bangalore

I went for Sobha Daffodil project because of reputation they commanded in the market in 2007. Even though all the apartments are complete, we are still waiting for the handover in Feb 2009. Once they have made their money, they behave in such an indi...fferent manner. I recently approached them for a layout of my apartment and was given the response that the CAD drawing can be made available only if the interior work is awarded to Sobha Interiors. Otherwise the best layout diagram that I can get is the layout plan circulated at the time of purchase. I'm really having trouble getting quotes for the interior work from vendors. they require measurements of the apartment and with the lousy site visit policy, it becomes a uphill task to get activities co-ordinated. Even in the case of registering the apartment, they demand a LoU which is one sided indemnifying them of further delays. They are reluctant to confirm when they will complete the project also. I am posting my experience with Sobha Interiors as I could not find any other relevant thread.

Please do not hire Sobha Interiors ever. I have given my order for interiors to Sobha. I started the discussions in January. Their design team was...very slow and unresponsive. We finalized the design in Feb and I made the first payment on March 4th. They promised to finish the work in 6 weeks. It is now almost 15 weeks and counting. They have still not completed the work. Apparently some machine broke down and around 300 orders have been delayed. My order is one of those.

Besides this delay, there is no sense of accountability in the division. The customer service people would never communicate the delay and I had to chase them just to get a status update. They would conveniently choose to ignore your calls. I catch hold of them after many missed calls to which they never respond. They treat you as though they are doing you a favor by getting the work done. Everytime they have to visit my place for payment/keys, I have to message them
my address. Apparently there are too many customers to handle and they
cannot keep a record of everyone's address.

So please save yourself the trouble and hassle and go with some smaller interior store. They treat customers like kings and are much more prompt. I have very good experience with Interwood in Domlur. They were a lot more customer friendly, good at communication and delivered good quality product in time.  Read More

I am sharing my experience with Sobha Interiors here. I recently got the interior done for my Sobha Elite Flat.Impressed by finishing of Sobha project group I decided to go with Sobha interiors expecting same quality and finishing.
They didn't...finish the work in promised time.They will take their own time.I am having lot of issues with the finished work.Wardrobe door not functioning smoothly,Damaged wall paint,Doorstopper .Their quality of finishing is substandard.They don't care about customers.They will collect your money in advance and do shoddy work and after sales service is pathetic .

Also work agreement/order you sign for interiors is one sided favoring Sobha interiors.Don't be fooled by their verbal assurances and pride talk about Sobha as brand and their quality.
There is no accountability and treat the customer very badly to say the least. I feel like I have been cheated.

Please avoid going with Sobha interiors Go with smaller interiors companies who are accountable,now a days every one use machine for cutting the wood and manual labour is only for fitting.  Read More
