Cheated me in rent and commission.

A friend recommended me Popular Estate Agent in sher e punjab colony Andheri east as I was looking for a flat on rent in the same area.

The agent is a sweet talker and will con you easily if you are not smart enough.

Well coming to my experience, the agent showed me a 1 BHK flat in kamlesh society on the  5th floor.

I was okay with the flat and asked him to negotiate with the rent and deposit. The agent promised me a rent of 20000 and a deposit of 1 lac. I agreed on the amount moved my stuff. later the agent demanded a 2 percent commission! It came as a shock to me. This was not told to me in advance I was under the impression that the rent would include his fees.

however he would let me move in untill I gave all the money. I argued a lot with him but he was just not ready to listen!

Not just this, he then also gave me more bad news that there were a few repairs in plumbing and electrical things and I woulld have to pay for those as well.

This popular agent is such a fraud I tell you! made my life hell! I was totally disgusted! I do NOT recommend this agency to anyone! I suggest you do an online search for flats on rent and also sale. Never go to Popular estate aagent.
