After paying more than a crore for a flat in Nahar Amrit Shakti, you would certainly like your guests to visit you. How will you feel when your guests are asked to park their vehicle in the narrow lane in front of the gate and expected to walk more than 300 to 400 meters to your building along with their luggage and small kids. This is what is happening everyday at Nahar Amrot Shakti. The builder was just interested to sell his flats without any provision for parking. He has even sold the parking spaces despite the Supreme court order that does not permit any builder to sell parking spaces.
Over and above the builder has made provision of one parking for one flat. So, if you have two cars, one car will have to be parked on the road outside the colony. The builder expects that people buying a flat worth crores should have just one car !! If you are thinking of buying a flat in Nahar Amrit Shakti, you are just dumping your money in a project that is engulfed in smoke from the adjoining plastic factories and smoke from waste dumped in that area. The adjoiniong Khairani Road that is Muslim dominated locality, has many mosques that will disturb your peace with blaring sound through their speakers, many times day and night. There is no proper shopping centre near by, no school, no ATM, no grocery store, no restaurent, and for small needs one has to run to Hiranandani gardens, which is about 3 Kms from the project. The school building is just for show. The builder had been showing this school building for last 5 years to the prospective buyers, but is in no mood to complete this building. So, where will your children study? You have to send them to far away schools, which may be as far as 10 Kms from the project.
Hiranandani School gives admission to the children who are staying in his project, so do not expect admission of your Nahar Amrit Shakti resident children in that school. There is no decent school for at least 10 to 20 Kms from the nahar Amrit Shakti project. You must be getting lured by the very green and clean advertisements of Burberry and Bryony project in Nahar Amrit Shakti at Powai, the two new buildings where flats are being sold at very high rates. Just have a look from one of the backside window from this building and you will see all the Muslim slums at a stone throw away distance. You can even hear clearly the cries of children staying in those slums and the noise of industries in those slums. Imagine spending Rs 4 Crores and living in slum surroundings.
In the whole project there is no proper walking area for the residents. The small path that is a meter wide does not allow any one to cross over two people whay are walking ahead side by side. This he calls a walking / jogging track. The track is not having straight route or even surface, it has twists and turns, ups and downs, with steps at places. If a senior citizen wants to take a walk, he will never repeat the feat the next day looking at the risks. For greenery there are small patches of lawns among concrete. Absense of big trees and lots of concrete all over makes the sunlight reflections too much with extreme heat during summers. During rains the lawns get flooded with water as there is no proper drainage to let go off the excess water. If you want to stay in a concrete jungle without any green trees, and with no parking for your second car and for your guest car, with colony filled with smoke and smog coming from plastic and waste burning units, with Mosques blarring sound day and night, and surrounded by slums, welcome to Nahar Amrit Shakti, Powai.
