This vendor was referred to me by Indiamart. If you want to utilize the services referred by Indiamart, pl read this before finalizing. Here is my experience:
The year 2017: Hired a company called Keerthi Constructions, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore for terrace tile fabrication structure. Owner: Sandeep Ph: 9740755664 another person Marketing guy - Gaurav, Ph: 9916662278, he is Sandeep’s relative. Both are rogues and cheaters.
They speak to you very nicely and attend all your telephone calls, respond very quickly to your queries. You will be astonished and will be impressed the way they respond. The quote was less per square feet compared to others and I confirmed the order to them. He showed me the download pictures from Google and said that they have executed this order through another company, which was subleased, to them. Once I confirmed the order and paid the advance he started wagging his tail. The order was finalized for Rs.2.5L and completion in 15 days. He demanded 50% advance but later on agreed for 30%.
Now the actual problem started:
Delayed the execution of the order by giving a crap reason, Used inferior quality material, did not honor his commitments. Showed me a different guage material and used a different guage. When I objected he convinced me that he will not compromise on the quality and the used material will withstand the weight. He demanded another 20% of the money to be paid as the full material is already delivered to the site.
After two days I showed him that the ceiling is sagging and cannot withstand the weight. Even though he knows that he is at fault he told me that nothing will happen, as each and every rod is welded. After a long discussion, he agreed to give additional support to the structure based on our request for which the cost will be extra as it is not a part of the initial plan.
They started breaking the sidewalls without even checking with me. Water started leaking immediately due to the rainy season and I could see water seapage in the wall. This breakage was not at all necessary. I had to pay extra for fixing this as well. Now the order value is revised to Rs.3L
They are not quality people, they don’t know what quality work means. They don’t stick to their plans. They start demanding money every now and then. If payment is not given the work will stop. Only 50% of the work done and I had already paid Rs.2.5L
With half of the work completed, I could feel that the plan was horrible and asked for a small change in the plan, which he agreed. Now he did not talk anything about money. I was under the impression that there won’t be anything extra in rate and I was mentally prepared to pay him the balance of Rs.50k at the end of work.
He called me one day and demanded full money of Rs.1L more(Balance Rs.50k+ another Rs.50k for the change in the plan) before completion of the job. Now it is more than a month after the work started. When I insisted for completing the job first and will pay later, he told me that he needs full amount before the completion of the work if we don’t pay he will take away all the materials. He stopped sending people for work and took away his tools. This went on for a week. I had to keep calling him and he never picked the call. I had no choice but to transfer the amount to his account and sent him a message that the amount is transferred in full and beg to complete the work. Even after full transfer of money he came 3 days later and did not complete the work and stopped responding to me. Again I waited for 10 days and since he did not respond I had to get it done from another guy and had to pay extra. Now my total expense is close to Rs.4L.
So beware of this company. They threaten so avoid them. Now they have started another company as they come to know that they have negative ratings of their existing company. My request would be to go by references thro’ friends, relatives or neighbors.
