INTELLECOM: PLEASE RE-THINK, THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS
This company has a call center in India, INTELLICOM CONTACT CENTERS (28, Najafgarh Road,New Delhi-110015) which is pathetic. Most of the management staff starting from Team Leaders consists of a** lickers. They show you all kinds of dreams of future prospects just so that you can work harder. They make you work extra hours even on weekends with no breaks, saying it is important for one's growth. The truth is, this company is in a bad shape and want all corrupt people to drag the company every month. Working with this company means you have to attend all their parties and dance with drunk seniors. They over promise and under deliver.
I've worked for this company more than 2 years, after 1st year I was promised to be promoted but was only promoted after another year. Though promotion changed my rank to Team Lead, they still kept me on calls (as I had the highest sale volume), increased my daily work hours from 9 to 10-11, and there was no increase in my salary. Worth mentioning here is, that the average salary here is near 180 USD per month(8100 INR per month) and you have to work 60 hour a week. Basically, you'll be earning $0.75 per hour, which is even lesser than what an uneducated labour in Mexico makes.
The people who were mentored by me got higher positions just because they were a** lickers. Beware of their DIRECTOR - BRIAN, MANDAVI SHARMA, MANMOHAN, AMIT A.K.A ANDRE. They all are manipulative. Our group begged for promotion not because we wanted it, but because we well deserved it. If you leave the company by giving resignation after facing all this frustration, nobody will give a damn, leave alone try to look at the root cause of problem. You would be relieved from your job even if you give them a prior notice. No senior will talk to you and there would be rumors that you were sacked by them. This company sucks.
Following are some of the USPs of this company.
Among the worst examples are:
having to put your hand up to go to the toilet.
being restricted to a certain number of seconds per call and being subjected to disciplinary action if the time is exceeded by one second
excessive monitoring with supervisors listening in at random
excessive surveillance
long shifts without adequate breaks
employees being treated like slave labour
If you are associating with this company in any way, you will be accepting and encouraging this kind of unfair work environment.
