Still waiting for justice

Review On Jaishree Developers, Ranchi

My grievance is against a local private building construction company, Jaishree Developers(India) Pvt. Ltd., Nala Road, Kadamkuan, Patna-800003, Bihar. In March 1995 I booked a Flat no.3A1, in the name of my wife Mrs.Meena Jha, in Gulab Vatika Apartments at Ambedkar Path, Bailey Road, Patna. In March 1995 I paid the registration amount for the flat and in February 1996 I paid its another instalment. In total I paid an amount of Rs.51000 against the purchase of the flat. When I visited the construction site in May & December 1996 I was highly disappointed at the slow pace of work. Even after two years they hadn’t completed the ground floor of the apartment. The construction work stopped completely for some time also. Then in January 1997 I finally cancelled the booking of the flat. Then started my another tale of woes and worries.

Ideally Jaishree Developers should have refunded back my Rs.51000 paid for the flat. But they refused to refund my money. Despite my regular visits to their office, writing several reminders to them and also complaining to them over telephone, they have not refunded even a single rupee to me. And till to this date they have not paid back my money.

I have been cheated and I want my money back peacefully. I want Jaishree Developers to refund the full amount of Rs.51000 to me alongwith 20% per annum interest for holding back my money for all these 20 years for no reason and adequate compensation for my monetary loss. I request you to intervene in this matter and raise my grievance in front of the concerned authorities for immediate redressal. I hope your intervention will settle this long-pending matter amicably & quickly. For this I will be grateful to forever.
