With change in office location from Manyata to Eco space, I recently moved to Bellandur. The place is a good example of a concrete jungle and moving around in Harlur road is terrible, thanks to the traffic. There started my hunt for my own house, one of my friends suggested to explore villas in Sarjapur. When I started, it was really tough to find a property which will fulfill all the requirements, evaluating the developer was a bigger challenge. Thanks to portals like Magic bricks and 99acres, finding a dream house has become quite easier with these online portals, they really give right information on their sites. Since it is always better to shortlist the projects before you call them, I shortlisted around 5 properties, did my offline checks about them and then visited 2 projects. The first property I visited was on the sarjapur-chikkatirupati road.(Sorry, I don’t want to mention the property name). I found it to be a bit too interior for my liking, the development too I presumed would take a long time as the approach was through a narrow village road. The next stop was Ridgewood, it was evening, but I could easily identify the project because it was on the NH. All three sides were surrounded with villa communities. My trust level developed at Ridgewood as I did not hear them making any tall claims, they just spoke about their project and gave a short presentation on the amenities and Villa plans. More importantly, they are very clear about the delivery schedule.
One thing which was bothering me was that it was on the state border, the next four weeks I visited around 10 projects in the same neighbourhood. Every week I would pass by the Ridgewood gate atleast twice and every time my heart would miss a beat…I finally after almost 2 months of research booked there and my experience till today has been good.
