I am an NRI and have booked a flat with Fortuna Projects-Wind Flower in April 2012 by paying the booking amount of Rs 1 Lakh. Though the project was supposed to kick off in 2012 but that never happened till 2014. The company asked us to sign the agreement in April 2014 or take the booking amount refund without any deduction.
We informed them to refund the amount as by this time I have invested in some other project. To my surprise when no action was initiated by them till Dec'2014, I decided to contact the Director Mr Rajesh Kumar with whom we initially did the booking thinking that he will speed up the process. However inspite of promise and commitment to refund at several occasions the same was not done till Feb'2015. In Feb’2015 when I finally asked him if he has any intention to refund, he stated that now will refund only 75% of the amount as per the booking sign off form.
I would like to tell you all that following clauses were there on Pre- Launch booking form
(i) Refund to be done within 30 days from the date of cancellation
(ii) To refund 90% of the booking amount in case purchaser desire to withdraw, but as stated they made an offer to take 100% when demanded money in 2014.
I told them about the clauses, but they refunded only 75% of the booking amount in March'2015 first week through an employee Nishanth in Dubai, who on listening to the trail of details promised to get me my full amount, but like the director of the company he too never fulfilled his promise nor even responded to my calls and messages afterwards. What can one expect from the staff if the director attitude are like this.
I had really experienced the most unprofessional and unethical approach from the company director and staff. They don't adhere to their commitments and even the signed clauses. If the company director can behave like this for Rs 25, 000, I really imagine what they would do with the investor bigger investment. The company enjoyed the interest for Rs 30K(approx.) for almost three years on Rs 1 Lakh and even deducted Rs 25K on refund. I would just suggest the word "CAUTIOUS" for any investment with this company
