Time for some interesting announcement.

It's interesting to find changes to the website you have been visiting over the years. MouthShut.com has redesigned the 'Read Review' and 'Read all Review' pages. This is the beginning of the biggest makeover the site has seen in some time. The newly designed pages have simplified representation of data by using beautiful icons.

The links for ratings, photo upload, bookmarking, email alerts and the 'send to mobile' functionalities now appear to the right and have been replaced by icons. Moreover, the social sharing icons will now appear on the top right corner.

The new design is evocative of the old design but it represents a few small steps in the direction towards much more interactivity along with a number of important usability enhancements. The changes in the layout have been made after thorough research and for maximum impact and usability. We believe that this design will be loved not only because it’s visually striking but also because it is much more easy to use.

As you can see we have made some design changes on the MouthShut.com Home Page. Besides, we have also implemented the New Polls feature. Hope you all like it.

However for those who are still not aware about the changes I would like to highlight the changes once again that have been implemented.

1] Audience Polls

- On popular demand we have implemented Audience Polls on MouthShut.com.

Some of its features are:

a) You can create and vote in as many Polls as you can. There is absolutely no limit.

b) You can track individual responses for each option and get results of the Polls real time in graphical format.

c) You can also comment on the Polls.

d) The polling is anonymous i.e. you can't see who all have participated in the Polls.
This would ensure unbiased responses.

e) We believe Polls will create an interactive and fun learning environment

Once again we have done it for you all & yet another tie up with Google to benefit all internet users as well as our dear Mouthshut members.


You all must have seen the new changes in our Mouthshut.com home-page. We have introduced the All New ‘Upcoming Movies’ section. Here you will be see the five latest Upcoming movies on home-page & when you click on the ‘View More Upcoming Movies’ button, you will be able to see the latest 20 upcoming movies with Release Date, Star-Cast & Director’s Name.


You can also go to this tab from our Review listing page where you can see four latest upcoming movies with the same ‘View More Upcoming Movies’ button or you can directly see a ‘Upcoming Movies’ Tab on the top beside the Photos & Trailers Tab.


Another change which we have done is the ‘Google +1’ Feature on our pages. On the Review listing pages & the review pages, we have added a ‘Google +1’ icon beside the F-share & tweet-share icons. If you read any useful content on our site & want to store it for future reference, all you need to do is click on that ‘+1’ button & enter your Google Account Details (or Gmail details) when asked. This link will get added into your Gmail Profile & you can refer it anytime you want. So you can just bookmark all the reviews you want &can check it later using your Gmail profile.

New @MS ID tab next to Timeline
Now you can easily check where your MouthShut_Official ID has been mentioned by any other member of MouthShut_Official.com. Whenever any member mentions your MouthShut_Official ID by using @ sign, it will be hyperlinked to your timeline and would also be visible to other members. You'll get more views to your profile.

Love this Diary
If you like a particular diary, do not hold back your emotions. Just click on ‘Love this diary’.

Search Diaries
Now, besides searching for products, reviews and members on MouthShut_Official.com. you can also search for Diaries / Blogs / Corporate Responses. All you have to do is search for a product first. Then on google custom search for products, a banner with a text box will be shown on top. You can enter the text which you want to search and click on search icon.

Edit Product Details
You can now edit details of products i.e. their Address, Phone number, Website, Landmark etc by just clicking on the link ‘Edit Product Details’ on ‘Read all Review’ page. This is particularly useful for products that are location based.

Send Details on Mobile
Wish to receive details of a particular product on your mobile? Just go to ‘Read Review’ page or ‘Read all Review’ page and click on ‘Send to Mobile’ and enter your mobile number.

Write Review / Diary without login
Now even a Guest User can write a Review / Diary. Just go to Write Review page of any product and write a review on it or go to Post Diary page and post a Diary. There is no need to login.

Distrust this member made more powerful
If you wish to block any member from doing any activity on the posts or reviews written by you, you can easily do so by adding the member in your Distrust List. This was a feature requested by many of you. If your distrust another member, he/she will not be able to comment on any of your post!

Hide feeds of a particular member
If you do not want to receive feeds from a particular member then you can easily hide that particular member’s feed.
ØJust go to 'Content Filters inside My Settings tab, type the MouthShut_Official ID of the member whose feeds you do not wish to receive.
ØIf you do not want to receive bulletins from a particular member, you can easily do this by hiding his MouthShut_Official ID.

Unread M2M Count
You can now easily come to know how many M2Ms are unread by you as the count will now be shown next to the blinking icon of M2M.

Past Featured Posts on MouthShut_Official.com./span>
ØNow member can easily see past Review of the Day, Featured Diaries, Featured Mobile Messages by just visiting the Archived page.
ØMembers can go to Archive page by clicking on the link provided on the right side of Recent pages.

You can now easily check posts written by @faisal, @caretaker, and @Vikram_Tech to know what is hot and happening on your favorite web site. All their posts are now part of the MouthShut_Official Official Blog. This post included:-)
