This Bike Model Of 2000 manufactured by TVS private limited, In 2000 there are 125CC engines are not available widely in India because of its cost and capacity.

In that time glx bike was famous and purchased by alot of people and then due to its heavy weight people cant able control the bike and alot of accident complaints are registered, Then the company banned the production of the model.

Overall the bike is Heavy Duty and Can run Upto 120KM Speed.

Friends this is the first bike I got from my teacher. he deliverd it to me in 2016 the bike was old some 55000km . but its performance is much on higher side . economy is also great like 60 km/litre . this bike is most comfortable in this class of motarcycle .this is good bike in terms of handling .

I have purchased this bike in year 2005. It is good for riding but millage given by company & actual is quite difference. Main problem with this bike is starting problem in raining season & rest of time it is ok. Also we face problem for spare part which is not easily available with TVS showroom

Hay friends I just sold this bike after testing it for 4 months I just would like to share the hidden fact about this bike because always average is not matter in purchasing any bike I know the average of tvs victor 125 GLX is good but I want to share the problems which I faced firstly seat is very long and is not comfortable if I ride this bike more than 1 hour continuously its engine heat a lot and some time it will stop its body vibrates a lot above the speed of 75 or 80 its head lamp is very bad in design because is focus is not good and some times the gear of this bike is not working properly

First of all the best part is the Mileage. extremely good for long road driving or in the city as well. My gives 60 km/l.

Talking about design still like solid iron. Well built.

Body balance is very good, handling is all perfect very easy to turn or drive specially in traffics.

Superb road grip comes with good solid tyres.

Very Comfortable in all aspects.

Totally accpetable if we talk about mileage and comfort. I really enjoyed this bike as it gave me real profit for this money. Once again trust me Mileage and Handling is extremely good.

Go with it. You won't regret.

From many days I and my brother searching for a bike and it should be 125cc minimum.then through my friend I got suggestion about tvs victor 125 glx.this is a nice model in tvs.this is a best bike from tvs.the mileage is also more compared to other bikes.the comfort is superb.there is no problems while travelling long distances.

The reliability is also excellent.the road grip is also marvelous while roads are in any worst conditions.the maintainance is also less compared to other bikes.the appeal is try this bike anybody wants to buy a new bike.thanking you.

Its pickup is fantastic according to its 125cc engine but when we come to talk about oil. some time the engine use oil for operating a bike because a of this the white smoke will come out of the silencer and the bad noise comes out of its engine.

Now lets talk about its headlight its cover glass of headlight get coated with which material according to time and the intensity of light got low.

Wire connections are also not good

but milage is ok

Tvs victor glx  has a good mileage of 50 in city and 60 above in highway . The bike is having an average comfort level.

It has a 125 cc single cylinder engine and launched in the year 2004 .the bike is very good because it is in cheaper price and having a low service

the bike can be easily controlled and handled because of its less weight .

TVS Victor 125 GLX is a very good bike because it's cheap in rate and is also a low maintainance bike. Ir costs you around Rs 48, 000( ex.showroom price) . It has a 125cc single cylinder engine. It was launched in year 2004 and was discontinued in year 2014. It has a good mileage of about 60-65 km/L. Ground clearence is good. Front and rear both have a 130mm drum brake. Comfort are very good because it's suspensions are very appreciable. It has a very simple design and was available in very few colours. Bike has good market at those times.

I feel glad to have been the proud owner of Victor GLX, a bike which I have been riding for more than 10 years. Yes. I bought this bike in Feb 2006 when 125cc bikes were targeting the sports segment. No engine boring done till date, although I have underused this bike as I have never done long trips. The odo meter reads just around 12, 800Kms and I had to change engine oil for just 3-4 times till now!

I have no regrets that I spent around Rs. 52, 000 including the accessories cost on this one as I made the choice of a bike over jazzy auto-gear scooters from kinetic honda or bikes from the popular honda or bajaj series. The proximity of the service centers and the Made in India brand of TVS coupled with easy availability of spare parts, had influenced my decision to choose TVS over other brands.

No alloy wheels on this one. It's the classic spokes wheels you'll find on legendary bikes that remind you the times of Caliber and CD-100 from Bajaj. City commuting is a breeze on this one as shifting gears is smoother once you finish your 10, 000Kms service.

Also, you need to idle the engine for a minute before you move the vehicle after each engine start. Because, Victor GLX performs best only after its engine heats up. in terms of both mileage and pick-up.

Assuming you keep your speed limits around 50-60kmph, you can easily do 45-50Kms of mileage in city limits regardless of the bike's age. And 55-60 on highways even if you drive aggressively at a speed of around 70-80Kmph. Yes. I am still able to achieve this amazing mileage even after ten years of use!

A steady driver with calculated gear-shifts when you hit the peak rpm at each gear, will make you feel like the shifts are indeed butter-smooth. Also, you feel the engine roaring to life in third and fourth gears. The 2nd and first gears somehow lack the punch, so normally I never use them, unless I have to climb an uphill terrain!

The VTi engine surely packs a punch when you twist the throttle just at the right moment, after shifting to the top gear. Keep pushing the throttle a bit more until it locks itself, and you could reach a top speed anywhere between 90 to 100kmph, depending upon the age of your engine and the quality of maintenance.

Although my bike can still zip from 50-80kmph effortlessly, it struggles to reach 90kmph and then runs out of steam. But, it could do almost 110kmph during the first couple of years from its purchase date. I couldn't have expected anything better from a commuting bike that flaunts a few sports bike features like disc brake and aerodynamic design.

It feels sad to note that TVS has stopped making the Victor series and the spare parts are also scarcely available. But, none of those constraints have stopped my bike from being 100% functional.

Maybe it's time to change my bike's headlamp as the light emitted through it is thinning and patching. I guess it faced the brunt of weather fury including the wear/tear from usage for 10 long years. Apart from couple of battery replacements, and one front disk-brake-plate -set replacement, I have not spent a penny on maintaining this bike.

Victor GLX 125cc is truly a legend and you'll be proud to own it! You will love its low-cost maintenance and cherish the seating comfort as well as butter-smooth handling for as long as its engine keeps revving with life.

I am anxious to buy the RTR 180 next, as my faith in TVS never seems to fade away.

Improvements: Please offer a wider wheelbase and something from the racing genre. No TVS tyres please as they make your bike lose stability and skid on wet roads, especially while cornering or taking acute turns. Do something about its looks and make it more sporty!
