Mahindra Gusto 125 DX

Hi everyone, I am here to tell about the mahindra Gusto here. it is a good bike. reliable economical but when there are other options available in the same range we have to criticise it with the same products.

1) the first thing I would say the life of the bike. I personally felt the bike is a not long lasting one because when we have option of other bikes like Activa it is more long lasting than this. I have this and my friend has Activa which is still in very good condition.

2) Mileage is economical but yet the same point when compared to the yamaha ray it still lacks behind.

3) Road Grip: Due to the small size of the tyres it is not reliable when you swing it or drive it in the rain. it could get slip easily. like the other bikes of this range. it is not just with this bike it is with all the scooties I would say. even ray or acess125

4) Adjustable seats; the seat is comes with the adjustable height which is a good option of this bike. which others don't have.

5) Appealing: it is good other bikes which are very good looking it is a tacky one for the girls. but if you are a boy you would not prefer to have a tacky one. because it doesn't go with you.

Mahindra Gusto 125 DX is a good bike in its own but while we have other option .I have ride this bike for some time and I would say that its not a good one in this range.The mileage of this scooter is good it provides you a mileage of 45 to 50kmpl which can be considered as good economic.The scooter space is comfortable you will will get long seat which will make your ride comfortable.

The reliability of this scooter is not long lasting.the scooter is also not for long distance it is for day today ride you cant use it for long jorney.the weight of the scooter is also more as compared to otherswith the small tyres the grip of the scooter is not enough to handle large dumps and the ride is risky in rainy season and off roads.the design and style of this scooter is good.the price of this scooter is 52, 990.i recommend you to buy this scooter.

Mahindra gusto new lunch in market and come more gusto scooty on road but I think that gusto not powerful engine.

This scooty looking best and good in desinged and colourfully but I trying this scooty engine not powerful.

Mahindra company provide good customer service and solving problem but not change engine in gusto.

I trying our friend scooty, and I am not like this gusto scooty but other features are good and best .

I have using mahindra gusto for aroud past 7 months. I live in college and use it mostly for short distance

travel from my hostel to the college. From my riding experience I have found gusto to be an average standard

scooter. First of all mileage is around 45 to 50 and is okay for fair use. I find it useful for my day to day drive. Mahindra gusto boasts of plently of features, like adjustable seat and storage pocket near the instrument

console. But I didn't find it to be that effective. While riding, if I lower the seats, it will not only become too low

but the rider geometry also goes for a toss because the seats angle drops to a steep incline. However the seat is

pretty large and remains comforable during the rides. The'find me lamp' feature has been good and it makes the scooter lights blink and beep if buttons on

flipkey is pressed. The storage space is small and cannot accomodate an open face helmet. And if I try to stuff a tiny helmet,

the seat does not lock in the road grip. The switch gear quality is average while plastic quality and paint finish need improvement. The acceleration isn't that brisk. The weight is a bit higher compared to other scooters and appeal. The main issue I faced is that servicing and maintainance is poor and the bike had lot of technical issues. I

complained twice and they took 2 months to resolve my problem. The issue was with the silencer. It was making

a lot of noice. When I asked the dealer to rectify the problem he neglected it. So I had to call the customer care

to rectify the problem. And that took a lot of time to get solved in the reability.

Good for indian, avg, mileage looking stylish and good height, new smart feature with adjustally sheet flexible for anyone, stylish body will looking great.

2) No satisfaction

There was some noise in rear wheel, kicker does not come back all these problemd occured even before l could get regustration no. And were brought to the show room personal. After 1st service some other sound has started from rear wheel oil leakage in parking, no proper fitment of matting even after instruction to service enginere during 1st servive.

A powerful scooter. I have a DX and it has no extra(or I'd say unwanted) features. Simple yet elegant in design. I have been using it for about an year and half, regularly and sometimes rigorously in the Bangalore traffic. Touched 18k KM without any trouble and still going smooth. Did not get any major repair.

Talking about mileage we should keep in mind that it is 125 cc and the company(like any other company) just gives false claim on the mileage being 64kmpl. It just gives between 40 to 50 in city limits. Keeping the performance and pickup in mind I don't complain on this. But the company should come transparent on mileage I think. For decent mileage keep the speed between 40 to 60kmph.

The scooter easily touches 75kmph without much vibration and the top speed I've touched is 90kmph.

As for comfort; mine is DX version which has non height adjustable seat. But the height is just perfect for average Indians. The seat is wide and comfortable enough for two person going on regular(or long) ride. Suspension too is decent(could've been little better in terms of absorbing) and strong which means it will take however big potholes with ease. This scooter is designed by Indian company and is meant for Indian roads.

The scooter has not given any major problem since purchase, never broke down, no battery problem and hence is extremely reliable for daily or even long rides.

The tyres are MRF tubeless. The scooter body is not so heavy for 125cc and gives good balance and road grip. Though the wheel is not alloy, but won't matter much difference.

I didn't like the orange color with some ordinary design on front. I chose regal red, which is simple and elegant. Plus with 125 the advantage is that the side mirror are fully painted ones and the front light border are chrome and not plastic black. The back light with Mahindra engraved looks beautiful and unique. The quick storage on the front is big advantage. The front LED lamp is graceful. Addition of protective guard added more chrome and elegance for the scooter. Just looks perfect for me!

Only negative I can say is(not related to scooter though) about the pathetic Mahindra service. I used to give my scooter for service in Whitefield branch. Not cooperative and they're so negligent that once they fixed the rear break shoe in wrong alignment. Got it replaced anyhow. Mahindra should improve their sale strategy and service.

Conclusion: Apart from poor Mahindra service, otherwise Gusto 125 is the perfect scooter for Indian roads! I would recommend to go for it if you are looking for budget scooter with high performance and pickup.

Hi friends I am sharing my opinion with mahindra gusto 125VX.This scooter 124cc engine produce good amount of torque and it gives you onroad mileage of around 50 kmpl. So mileage of this scooter is good.The scooter performed well but the engine noise after few months get increased.It makes too much noise while riding this scooter.Comfort wise it is very bad. you will each and every bump on the road and suspension is too hard.This scooter not comfort to long distance journey.This scooter storage space is small and cannot accommodate an open face helmet and if you try to stuff a tiny helmet, the seats does not lock.Road grip of this scooter is not good. Tyre slips easily on the soil road. it suffers to get good grip on the slippery roads.This scooter good appeal on road but poor comfort and the seats are very hard and not comfortable.This scooter is not reliable to all. I didn't recommend this scooter to you.

Hii friends today I will share my experience in the subject of Mahindra gusto 125 cc I was purchase this scooty last three months and this scooty looks and feels are good and other feature of this scooty was very bad I was not like this scooty mileage problem is a big problem of this scooty there is not reliable fo use because there is mileage and not enough comfort there is a two and three seater there is did not space to sit enough I was not satisfied to buy this scooty I was purchase of this prize is 62, 699 road grip are average if you have buying a scooty at your own wish

Few days we have purchased this scooter from mahindra outlet in ludhiana this purchase of scooter is one of the worst purchase of my life that I have made ever. initially scooter was working fine but after some days it has started giving me trouble. the scooter seems to be made of very poor quality it is not good for rough and tough use. the engine of scooter sounds very much and I have raised this issue with company but company mechanics failed to resolve my issue so as per my experience company has poor service &support because now whenever I call the company the reject my call. even after some days of purchase the light of scooter has stopped working and scooter switches off automatically while travelling all these troubles makes me very disappointed because company is not resolving my issues.

the company claims that scooter gives mileage of 45-55 kmpl but in my case the scooter gives mileage of just 30-35 kmpl which is quite unsatisfactory for me. even this scooter is not good for regular travelling because this scooter is very uncomfortable. whenever I travel for long distances this scooter gives me back and hip pain because seat is very uncomfortable and it is made of very hard leather as well. this scooter has poor boot space as well as compared to other scooters in the market overall this scooter has disappointed me very much as per my experience this scooter is not reliable for long term use.

even the road grip of scooter is very poor as this scooter is not suitable for travelling in rainy days due to its poor road grip. the tyres of scooter are made of poor quality leather as a result of which scooter slips a lot in wet road conditions. even the style & design of scooter is not so satisfactory as compared to other scooters in market. overall this scooter has given me a lot of trouble and this scooter has disappointed me very much so I do not recommend this scooter to anyone as it is a total wastage of money.

I have posted a review on Mahindra rodio also. Though this is somewhat fine comparing to the rodio, but again as this is Mahindra's product we cannot be rely simply on this model.

Some of its faults are-

1) mileage is good, but only for few years because after that it's mileage reduces equal to that of a car which gives 20 km/litre .

2) suspension is just better.

3) Maintainance required is more.

4) pick up is more which can price harmful for Learners.

So now it's on you whether you want to buy this or not

The 125 cc segmented feels heat of 2016 Mahindra finally launched the earlier showcased gusto in

India for 125 in India for INR 50, 920( ex showroom chennai). The vx variant on the top retails for

INR 54, 920. From the first sight the dual tone shade of the scooter can only make you clear that

its aa 125 cc version as rest everyhing seems to be exactly the same it comes with all the features

like height adjustment of seat, remote flip key, guide me lamps and find me lamp. the scooter

comes with a single cylinder air cooled engine producing 8.5BHP@700 rpm cvt while storage

space like under the seat and near to the instrunent console remain the same

This bike has only one good thing is that it has adjustable seat that's it. Nothing else is good in this bike. It engine is very weak if you take it for long journey. It's milage is not so good it only travel 20 kmpl of petrol. The service provided by the workshop is also very bad.

Hello friends, today inam going to share my review about this Mahindra Gusto 125 VX which is a 124 cc engine and produce good amount of torque.It gives you on road mileage of around 50 kmpl.

After using it for 8 months at an daily usage on rough roads and in city.The scooty performed well but the engine noise after certain months get increased and makes too much noise while riding which is a bad thing of owning a mahindra gusto.Even after servicing I am facing this issue.Even my friend has gusto and he is also facing the same.Mileage of this bike in city is around 46 to 50 kmpl.Mileage depends upon city traffic, road condition and health of your tyres as well as engine.Mileage wise it is good.But there are some other factors in which it lacks.

Comfort wise it is worst.You will each and every bump on the road.Suspension is too hard.Activa 125 is much better alternative too this.I started facing back pain after using this Mahindra gusto 125 for daily use.Earlier I was using Activa 125 and now again I have started using Activa 125 which is the best.Reliability of this scooty again the bad part.Not realiable to use daily due to the poor suspension setup.

Road grip of this scooty is not that good.Tyre slips easily on the muddy road.It suffers to get good grip on the slippery roads.The look of this scooty is good.It has good Appeal on road.But due to the poor comfort I don't like to use it daily even its engine gives you trouble after some months.

I hope my review will help you guys. Don't go for it.Honda activa 125 is a best alternative to it.

This is the best Indian bike in the country now as it is affordable when compared to other reputed bikes which are costlier than this bike.

Mahendra has a reputed name in other segments like four wheelers and other big vehicles. It's body is strong and looks wise got some unique colours unlike it's competitors. It's been a year since am using this. It has a good road clearance. It has a unique option of adjusting the height by increasing or decreasing the height which helps for a short person also to drive comfortably.

I want to say that the comfort is good but the storage is not to good , and the milage is good but when it goes on 60 it starts to shake . the sound is so bad . it should be good . The breaking is good . it takes petrol of 200 rupees .for full tank it takes 3 to 4hundred rupees . PLEASE change the hendel it should be little down .

Hi everyone.today I am going to talk about the bike which I was purchased a month ago named Mahindra Gusto 125 VX. if I talk about its looks the looks is too bad and the mileage of the bike is very poor. Let me talk about comfort, the comfort is too bad and the seats are very hard to sit.if I talk about the reability of this bike it stills stands last from other bikes I have driven the lots of bikes but this bike gives me a dumb experience I have never able to forget in my life.The road grip is very poor and the I have fallen down from this bike and a lot. My appeal to this bike is no one should buy this bike.i had a bad experience from this bike which I have never forget.

Hai, now I am sharing my experience with this gusto is not good, because engine is not so good and not power, so it looses its breadth after sometime and makes noises so this scooty is not get great mileage just medium mileage and it is very poor which is 48 to 50kmpl, suspension of this bike is not good for a bad roads, so it's not comfortable, design of the bike is the normal and good but this bike is not stable for grip roads, I don't know why mahindra stopped the duro and instead of the launched of that they launched gusto, both scooty are almost same, except modern only different.

Have been riding this bike for some time and would say that its not a good one im this range

MILEAGE: The mileage of this scooter is good it provides you a mileage of 45 to 50 kmpl which can be considered as good and economical.

COMFORT: The scooter space is comfortable you will get long seat which will make your ride comfortable.

RELIABILITY: The reliability cannot be predicted as the scooter is not long lasting I have been seing the condition of the scooter so far.

The scooter is also not for long distance it is for day to day ride you cant use it for long journey.

The weight of the scooter is also more as compared to others.

GRIP: with the small tyres the grip of the scooter is not enough to handle large dumps and the ride is risky in rainy season and off roads.

The design and style is also same as the traditional trypical scooter which is not appealimg at all you will be disappointed from the looks
