Hero Electric Wave Dx

I bought the Hero Electric Wave Dx in October, 2015. With regular use through these 18 months, I would like to put across my views.

I selected this scooter as it was environmental friendly and good for use by my daughter who is not yet 18. But I realised that the scooter does not go to the speeds as assured by the dealer. The battery backup is very bad. The charge runs out with just 30 kilometres use, which is not a feasible distance.

Within18 months, I've already spent about 16000 only for battery replacement, which is an expensive affair for a vehicle that cost less than 30000.

Most of people are thinking why I am agent such good bike but really is something different. Because buying a electric motor cycle is quite good but u should get something good features in it. Now a days electric wahical are most popular in trend. But some of companies don't give such good product. Most of electronic bike are also available in market. The speed is ossom of that bike as compared to this hero clectric wave dx. This bike is eco friendly. But lost of modifications are there left. They should give good speed bike. Little heavy duty bike ride. If you are paying to something we need the best thing which we don't get in this bike. So make this bike quite good and speed so people are attracted to buy such good thing.

Nerver Buy HERO ELECTIC BIKE because of its poor quality, poor Customer Care support and poor Service Support.

I bought Hero Zion in Aug 12. Since then I am regularly facing problems. When I purchase this bike then the bike had balance problem. I complaint to the dealer  he did nothing the I lodge a complaint with company they gave me Service Engineer's mobile no. He took 1 to 1.5 months to attend my complaint.( When force him). He replaced excel pins after that 80% problem solved but bike is not completely OK. After some days my bike's handle stated making sound while moving left to right or right to left. On next service of bike(on 28.11.2012) I told 2 problems 1 Battery problem. in this regards he told me to bring the bike on next service then he will check the battery problem. In response to my other handle related problem.  He did nothing and assured  me on company's engineer's visit he will call me. Till Jan 15 no call I received again I contacted the dealer he gave me service engineer's mobile number same day I called service engineer. He told me that his expected visit to the dealer's premise on about 25 Jan. About 25 Jan again I called company's service engineer this time he told me that due to service camps he is busy till 15 Feb, 2013. on 14 Feb. I gain made call to Sr. Engineer then he told me that his expected visit will be around 25 Feb.

I am facing handle related problem since 28.11.2012 and till now(14.02.2013) they did nothing and I have to wait till 25 Feb. after that I am sure he will again postpone the date(as per their track record).

SO PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY HERO ELECTRIC PRODUCTS.

since last 6 months I faced 1. Balance problem. 2. Battery problem(problem is not solved till now since 28.11.2012) 3. Handle making sound while moving left to right or right to left(Problem is still continue since 28.11.2012)

I purchased hero wave DX extra mile on 2nd May 2012 from Shyam & company, Jheel, Delhi vide  bill No. is 012/013/2227. I was told that the range of this model is 100 KM per charge.  But this is giving me 18 KM per charge.

When I complained this to the dealer/ service station i.e. Shyam & company, Jheel, Delhi, they examined it and told me to leave the bike with them because it needs replacement of the batteries. Now this bike is with Shyam & Company since 19th September, 2012 (approximate 16 days).

Whenever, I go to Shyam and Company, they tell me - "Wait more some time, company people will come and replace the batteries". On complaint over phone, they listened and tell,  "your complaint has been register and we will get back you shortly."

Very poor service by Hero Electric. I will not recommend this product.
