Bajaj Rave Reviews

Sad case
Aug 17, 2002 10:47 AM 7580 Views

Buying a bajaj rave is one hell of a disappointment. It does not have spare parts easily available. Its difficult for a ladies to use because of the gears to be changed while riding it. It came into the market and went off so soon. The sai service at Andheri washed their hands of repairing it. The company Bajaj itself stop making it.

Next time you are thinking of buying a bike, don't go for gears if you are a lady, and go for a slimmer bike. It looks nice, its sturdy looking too, the wheels are large to control balance, otherwise its a no-no.

Its a Bike one should never Buy.

Firstly it does not have an Automatic transmission, but a Manual 3 speed gear. The Max speed achieved practically is around 60kph.

The rest stand is weird,& clumsy.

The Kickstart strikes the Pylon riders foot rest.

The Horn is located away from the Drivers thumb grip.

The after sales service is a big problem

The Spares stock never seems to exist.

The Fuel tank has no Quantity indicator.

The Fuel Tank plastic cap tends to break.

The carburettor tends to flood.

The Clutch handle tends to slip.

The Speedometer cable breaks.

All in All a bike to avoid buying.
