BEST BYK Bajaj CT 100
Jul 21, 2015 04:44 PM 37399 Views

I Brought BAJAJ CT100 in the month of June 2015. It is excellent Byk for family segment People.Initially I got Milage of 60 but after first service Now I am getting 75km and above for a litter. It is Most comfertable byk. But only one problem I am facing is in the morning for starting the byk I am in the position to kick approx 5 to 7 kicks.

But I am happy about mileage part.

It is better if  BAJAJ introduce self start with this byk.

Family People can go for it.If we go in constant speed 40 we get average milage 78km/litter.Now inside city I am getting 75km/litter.its great . I love it.

My immediate criteria while looking for a bike was mileage. I knew I would be going for a 100 cc and after evaluating all the options went for CT 100. I am proud to say that after 3 months now I have not yet got a chance to regret my decision. '

The company claims that the mileage under test conditions exceeds 100 kmpl, but on road my bike gives me maximum upto 80 kmpl. I should also mention that I mostly traverse on the Pune-B’lore expressway to reach my office and I believe that inside the Pune city my mileage would drop to 70 kmpl.

However, more than mileage its the smooth and maintenance free running that I have gained which makes me more happy about my decision. If you are looking for stability and value for money then this is your bike. I have tried a number of times to exceed a speed of 80 kmph on the highway, but I guess you can only do certain thing with a 100 cc bike.

The looks are appealing, although my fiance complains a lot about the way the petrol tank has been designed. I have gone for the deluxe and golden colour version. I am tall and slightly heavily built so I feel that the seat should have been a little more broad for more comfort. I start feeling a little uncomfortable after riding for more than 40 kms on a stretch. My final word is that the bike is good for people who have a low budget but want a hassle free biking experience.

This bike has a tinch of attraction as the efficient 99.27 cc engine promises a prudent performance, the robust engine offers top speed of 90 kmph. On the grounds of handling, this two-wheeler emerges a winner, it handles well and lets the driver take charge of the vehicle completely. C

T 100 gets SNS(spring in spring suspension) which enhances the vehicles ability to handle erratic roads with ease. The SNS suspension features two springs of same axis including one inner and one outer, however these possess different dimensions. The inner springs are meant for absorbing small shocks while the outer spring absorbs the bigger shocks. The claimed ARAI certified fuel economy delivered by CT 100 is 89.5 kms in a litre, which is extremely impressive.

For me this bike can be a winner with lot of promotions which this bike truly deserves.

Bajaj Auto started its operations with the range of scooters, but soon changed there focus towards motorcycles by introducing Champion, Boxer but later discontinued all offerings in the favour of CT 100.

It is launched at a price of Rs. 35034 -38034.

It was CT 100 which started the fuel efficiency war among others. This bike became an instant hit in the market with its excellent fuel efficiency.

With its comeback in the year 2012, it has comeback with some noticable cosmetic changes and efficiency.

My name is Amit I had purchased this bike in 2005 in my College First year. the first bike I ride is CT 100 from bajaj. Its good fuel efficiency bike at low cost and low maintenance, earlier it was giving me 80 kmpl mileage and now after 8 years its still giving me 65 kmpl . I used to take bike at private service station thrice a year and change oil. ELF oil was better for my bike as per suggestion of garage owner. I used to drive bike at 40 speed and the bike is very smooth. The best quality like in my bike is smoothness  of engine and very low sound. No other bike can produce as low sound as CT 100

at speed of 40 bike is smooth running liker butter. after 8 months of purchase tell lamp and side indicator lamp has to change. plastic quality is not so good. bike handling is very good. Even at speed of 45 , sudden brake is controllable. by using both brakes 40% rear and 60% front the bike stops well even at higher speed and no sleeping. Tyre and tube quality  is good. in 8 years I had made puncher just 3 times. the bike is good for beginners and economy riders. bike s top speed is 90 with pion for city use its best bike but those who has craze of bike riding this bike is not for that. This is simple bike with some cons the one thing I dont like about bike is poor, very poor head light

Amazing Experience & Proud of it!

I have been using Bajaj CT-100 for the past 7 years now. I had bought it in Trivandrum during my college first year(2005) and it has been with me through out my life and my career. I had taken it to Cochin(14 months) and driven back to Trivandrum(250Km) and now finally it's with me in Bangalore. I used to give it for periodic service and the vehicle is still in very good condition now.

Initially it had the problem of loose chain & I replaced it initially once in ~10, 000Km and till now(~60, 000Km) I never faced much problem with it. I am not a rash driver, in the sense it doesn't means that I never drives speed!(top speed 100+kmph). I had taken it with me for trips like Sangam, Savandurga, Nandhi hills etc.. in Bangalore where my freinds used to accompany me in FZ, Unicorn etc...

In short, it had served me more than I expected!

Suits good  for guys like me ~55Kg :)

This bike it very smooth for handling in the city and out side the city. No over weight. for running so mileage given excess. Low maintains and low cost of repairs or spare parts. Good looking.  I am taking new brand bike in Auto India, Kolhapur showroom. I take average 70 to 75 kmpl after six months of purchased bike. I am servicing the bike from my Automobile friend Mr Aswale, of MOTO CLINIC at Kolhapur.

The worst bike I have ever seen
Dec 18, 2011 05:56 AM 47656 Views

Ct 100 is really a worst bike. It stops abruptly while travelling at high speed. And the worst part comes after that , it refuses to start again. Even if it starts it stops after travelling 1 km. Don't ever buy this bike cos even the service people are not able to find the problem. Worst after sales.

The cost of the bike might be low but the expenditure after that is really a headache. Plus you don't get a solution to your problem itself.

Suitable only for beginners!
Dec 10, 2011 07:37 AM 47729 Views

I bought this bike when I was 19 when I didnt know how to ride a bike. I wanted to play safe so bought this cheap bike for 33000 bucks. Now after 6 years I feel its just made for those who use a bike only for transporting themselves from one place to another without any other needs.

Looks-below average; Engine sound - Not very lovable:

Style: Don t even dream u'll get a girlfriend for a ride!; fuel economy - initially better but later on is only 40 to 45 kmpl; the spare parts are so fragile that even if  some minor trauma to the bike or urself will cost you heavily! I have changed my rear view mirror for about 7 times(both)! The only good thing about the bike is its light weight and manoeuvrability as its thin..To cruise in busy streets ans parking in heavy traffic streets it ll be easy.

I recommend this bike if u want to rent one to roam around in a city as its lightweight and easy to park. Otherwise it s fit only for transporting u in the literal sense. Macho men, please stay away!

I purchased bajaj ct 100 in the year 2005.till now the problems which i faced was not solved completely, but tried to convince me that there is no problem in your bike.firstly the turn lamps-the plastic quality is not upto the mark.second is that the material used is not rigid as it should be. The rim gets out even if the bike faces the small pot holes created in monsoon season.the battery wore out within 2 years. Tyres wore out in 2 years. Break liner has to be replaced in one year.and topmost of all the chassis has bend i.e. Both tyres are in x position. And according to the authorised service station situated at manpada thane w says that the problem cant be rectified. This answer is not expected from them.i am working the some company, we also come across such cases that the chasis is found bend, but we rectify the problem & not turn the face around. After all , after sales service is very important to grow the business.

Thanks.

Hoping that some authorized person will read my comments & will take action.

100%Reliable vehicle.

MY BAJAJ CT 100.

I purchased this vehicle on january 2005.

During these 4 years9 months I used this vehicle everyday in my life

.Daily a minimum of 40 kilometers I had traveled on it.

No majer problem.

good power.

Iam getting a milege of 70km till iam writing this review.

I had crossed 75000kms.

As my first bike I wish it would be cheaper than other bikes.it can be used roughly.must be good milege, low maitenence cost etc etc.these requirments full filled withmy vehicle.

less riding comfort is a major problem iam facing with this vehicle.

shoulder pain after long journey is a regular threat for me durng these days.

it is because its poor shocks.!

For bajaj vehicles gear box pproblem is another threat,

noisy gear change .

By changing these shocks.service regularley.it would perform better.

Unlike hero honda.or honda bikes bajaj bikes has no resale value.

After 4 yeares usualy bajaj bikes needs engine work.these are other problems.

but for this money it is good choice.!

My bike is good

Bajaj CT100 is a good bike.. My bike gives almost 70 kmpl in busy hyderabadi city roads.. well it travelled almost 60000 km. This bike is suitable to middle class persons.. who will travel long distances daily. It gives 80 kmpl on high ways..

This bike is good for the people.. who drive smoothly..If you drive rash it will be back to show room for repair. Bit you have to go for repair shop to tighten your breaks and chain..It was not clicked model..

But I love CT 100... becaues of its mileage..I travel 60 kms per day.. Almost I have travelled oct-2007 to till date( june -2009).. I was very much satisfied. with that Only minor repairs. I had purchased for 22000 Rs.. second hand.. made 2005-Dec.. And 2000 Rs for new silencer.. thats it.. it works well..

If you are looking for money you can choose CT100

Noisy brakes
Apr 11, 2009 04:49 AM 30212 Views

I bought the Bajaj CT100 about 3 years back I was using a hero honda cd100 and although I would have liked to buy the same model I thought that at that time Hero honda was overpricing this model So I went in for the cheaper Bajaj CT0 I didnt regret the decision The CT100 has given reasonably good using experience. But the dealer some very poor quality easily rusted saree guard.

I use the bike for about 25 kms daily. But soon I started getting a big screeching noise from the back brakes. The service fellows promptly changed the brake shoes But the sound did not go away. I have told the service fellows this complaint every time I give for service but so far they have not been able to sort out the issue

i had a persistent problem with my bajaj cub scooter long back each time it rained water would get into the petrol although I changed the fuel cap many times the problem persisted till I sold it

I don't think the company has any system of getting feed back from the service centers regarding such persisting problems. Most companie are least bothered about attending to the customers Once the product is sold that is the end o the matter there are enough sukers out there to sell their nwe product After all I went and bought from the same company is spite of an earlier bad experience
