So many discussions, so many senseless arguments and so many people talking about him! Why?
Why can’t people leave the man alone?
Sachin Tendulkar is not just a cricketer for me he is someone who I have adored and loved from childhood, I may be blinded but I am not stupid!
This whole argument of “some” people that he plays only for records and when ever he hits a century India loses seriously gets on my nerves not just because I am his fan but the for the simple reason that how can people think so illogically!
For starters if someone played only for records they would not survive for 20+ years, 20 years that’s almost my age for god’s sake! Having a successful career for that many years is not a joke and these people who blame Sachin for losing; I have a few questions for them,
Firstly do you even watch cricket? If you do, you even care to realize that it is a TEAM game not individual sport, how can a team’s loss be decided on one man scoring a century? How pointless and ridiculous is that?
Oh, just because Sachin scores century India will lose? What are the other 10 players doing? Sleeping on the field? So when ever he did score a century and India won, what about that?
Secondly, do you even know how to hold a cricket bat that you are deciding upon when he should retire? Can you even stand in front of those three wickets and face one delivery? Forget the thousands of runs he has scored, can you even score one run?
I agree that everyone is entitled to an opinion and we all have our favorites but how right is it to tell that Sachin scores century and India loses? Isn’t it unfair? Criticism is fine; no one can talk or find faults in his batting that they have resolved to this cheap argument?
Okay, many people are miffed by fans calling him God, I get that! Even I don’t believe he is God, in fact I don’t believe in God, that’s a different story though!
Baseless arguments really make me crazy! So this rant!
