Jasmine, I have seen enough of MS in last three years and I must say, whether you guys accept it or not, its turning out into social community, blogging site.. I loved this place when there was only reviews. I felt I had a group of friends whom I bonded together.. With the photo album (I loved it), diaries (I hated it), and new look and feel with corportate reivews and ads (I hated it), I no longer feel that I am part of this community.. Its a strange feeling but I am stranger in my own land.. And, all because of Thanks to MS Management and its creative team..

Though you guys have updated MS and have completely changed it from what it was in 2006, the MS team has IGNORED members’ opinions and suggestions. No one asked for diaries, virtual gifts, marketplace or photo albums. We need not know what’s there in our city through MS, we know it anyway. We are here for reviews on it. We had many other needs and expectations [posted in numerous reviews on General Thoughts during 2006] which have not been taken care of.

As a result, presently I find the site in a mess. Reading reviews with ads all over is very difficult, so I have hardly read 9 or 10 of them in as many months. The interface to me is very user-unfriendly. I found the old MS better, and it would have been great if you guys changed MS the way members wanted, and not the way you wanted. I posted a review of late to see how easy or otherwise it is writing one here again, but was horribly disappointed. I doubt whether I will visit the site more than a couple of times in a month, but you won't care anyway!

Hi Jasmine,

Most of your changes are indeed for the better. I just have a minor quiblle about the navigation of the reviews/diary pages. Instead of being able to view all reviews/posts at a glance, with all the information available - who wrote it, what it’s abt etc now we have to browse and read through 5 pages.

For those of us who come here sometimes just to browse, it is very diffucult to do so with the current layout. Also, it is more difficult since every single category is jumbled up in those pages. I would like to either have
1) the layout of the current pages improved (maybe columns like the earlier ones) so that we can get all the relevant info in a glance without haveing to look through all the text
2) the old review/diary pages with the simple links could be added as additional pages or
3) separate the reviews according to catgory. Browsing by category will not be as difficult as the current layout is.
