That was a small message from shalu that all the Delhi Msians will meet at Barishta at 3pm on 20 march. I was very enthusiastic or you can say desperate to join this meeting.
I left my office in GK 1 at 2.30. Delhi roads were crowded even on Saturday, by taking the subway at AIIMS I entered into South Extension part 1. There was quite a little rush at parking. I still had 15 minutes so I thought to visit Teksons bookstore to browse some books.
My mind was not in the books on that day, I was expecting time to pass quickly. As I entered into Barishta coffee shop, it was crowded, but I could not see any of the known face. I occupied a center table. The girl attending the visitors sensed that I am waiting for someone. I told her that I am not waiting for one person but many persons. I thought to eat something but later on abandoned the Idea.
At around 3.10 Shalu came .She did not recognize me when she and Shubhro was talking I knew that I am on the right place. We three greet each other and Introduced ourselves. Shalu was exactly the same as I was expecting her: warm, confidant enthusiastic, cheering and full of positive energy. Subhro and shalu both knew each other from long time and discussed the various aspects of MS. I was basically the listener trying to find out some meaning of their conversations. Shalu sensed my difficulty or inability to converse on this subject. Sooner she changed the discussion on other related topics. We analyzed, criticized (Positively) and described about the writing of other members..
Shalu was quite unhappy that some of other members who have promised to come but did not come. We talked on latest movies, books, IPL, Place where we have visited or could visit and so many other things. However we refrained to talk on personal things, like family, romance, finance, health and others. Half and hour later Pooja (pooja paliwal) joined us with her husband. In red outfit she was looking sweet. There was a childish innocence in her personality. She has brought some homemade chocolates with her. Then Khalid and his lovely wife Sana joined us. Now it was a full group. W changed our place and came on the long sofas in one corner facing the road on other side. We ordered something to eat. I was meeting Khalid first time but it seemed that I knew him from longtime. We both like traveling and it became the hot topic of that evening.
It looks time has stopped, when we looked outside dawn has fallen. When you are with the friends’ life looks beautiful. We came out hugged each other and promised to met again somewhere in open may be in Haridwar, on the banks of Ganges. A new life has started especially for me, and that is all because of Mouthshut.com.
