Can I be like my mother at her age?

I was suffering from Ashtama for last one week and had became so weak that I could not complete my household activities properly. Once a call came from my mother and I started crying that I was not able to take good care of my family and can she come for few days to Chandigarh?

She was on board in the Magadh Express withing six hours of my call !!

The very next day, I was there at the Chandigarh Railway station and as soon as I saw her and touched her feet and could not stop my tears. She hugged me and consoled me.

No sooner than she reached my home, she took charge of all the household activities from my husband who also had taken ten days of leave as my small kid also needed her due attention.

My mother made the Lunch in a very short time as we talked with her and the food was there for all of us. She herself looked so tired. But after lunch, she did not sleep, instead kept talking with me to comfort me. She made dinner well before time and took good care of her grand daughter too. She played a lot with her.

Each day, she did all the house hold activities and I was such a relieved person and even my husband as he could complete his MBA assignments in time for which he had little hope to complete because of the hectic schedule.

I started wondering that at that at that older age she possess such an abundant amount of energy and I am no where near to her !

Right now, she is waiting for her train at the New Delhi railway station after staying a good one week with me. She was a great support to me. She is still attached to me as if I am very near to her and like a kid.

I love you mom.
