BREAKFAST: Breaks the fasting period of the prior night
How many of us skip the breakfast?
Well, let me tell you , breakfast is the first most important meal taken after rising from a night’s sleep. Having breakfast early in the mornings are less likely to be overweight.
Hmmm…, One nice qoute: Have a breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar / pauper !
Yes , this is absolutely true. This is the tip that is the crux of healthy eating. The most important meal of the day is our breakfast.
Let’s see why!
When we go to sleep there are various processes going on in our body. There is no input of food for a period of 10 hours or more. The body has got rid of all the food that was to be digested and is now ready to receive more. The first meal of the day is the one that will be taken up first for digestion.
Unfortunately, there are so many people who miss out their breakfast! Having a healthy breakfast ensures that we will have enough energy to run through the most productive hours of the day- the morning.
This also implies that our breakfast has to be nutritious like cereals with cow’s milk, soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, eggs, yogurt, orange juice, fruits, idlis, dosas, parathas…, because if our most important meal is made up of junk we will really have a lazy day. Ideally any one smart food must be included in the breakfast.
After sleeping for hours and fasting- it’s time to break the fast and make sure we do it with a healthy BREAKFAST.
I was very much worried of my overweight, but, very soon I realized the mistake…., now, believe me I’m to my normal weight again. I always try to fill up my stomach around 7am to 8am.
Please try to take out some time for BREAKFAST.
