I am writing after almost a gap of two months. Past days were too busy and two hectic. First my brother in law had an open-heart surgery so I devoted full two weeks in coming and going to Apollo hospital. After that I was assigned from my office to Andhra Pradesh for some promotion work. It was my first visit to Hyderabad, as soon as I landed to Rajiv Gandhi Airport I liked the city, its people, their simplicity and even Hyderabadi Biryani. I stayed in Hyderabad for two days and except to sleep in the night I explored the city fully. I met a person there who was probably double of my age and helped me so much that I felt a special bonding with him and with the city when I left it.
After Hyderabad I visited Vijayvada and Vishakhapatnam. There was not much work to do in these cities and heat in Vijay Wada did not allow me more to explore the city. I stayed in hotel room most of the day. Very few people understand Hindi there and there were very few north Indian Restaurants. In Vishakhapatnam, however things were pretty cool. There were some nice restaurants in Dhaba Garden and sea breezes were cool and refreshing. At evening I visited R.K Beach, It was a lovely beach and stretched up quite long. One thing I noticed that auto drivers charged more and insist to go without meter as soon as they found that you are an outsider. But that does happen anywhere else in India too. The sea was in full wild in Vizakh, I have seen the beaches in Mumbai and Goa also, but I don’t know why I felt a love and longing in Vizak. I sat on one rock on the beach and thought probably the wave would not get me wet higher then my knees and suddenly a very huge water wave came and I was wet till my neck. Beautiful girl, probably younger then me, stood next to me just hold my hand and said, please help me I am about to fall from the rock. I hold her hand and supported her to stand still. I suddenly felt that how beautiful our country is with so many lovely people in it
Later I found that my mobile has almost immersed in water and became non functional and damaged. I can not survive more then a hour without mobile phone and there was no point to get it repaired so I bought a new set that cost me around twelve thousand rupees.
After this prodigal purchase I found that I did not have enough money left in my pocket.
The good thing was that I was carrying a return Air ticket from Vizakh to New Delhi
