Next morning we saw each other in office and behaved like normal friends. She gave me a mysterious smile without being noticed by many others and I like an idiot responded with a broad smile. Soon the day's work started and I got busy with my meetings and other official stuffs. At around 12.18 pm my IP messenger popped out and the head line shows it was Natalie.
Deepak was talking to about his editing project when the IP came. He suddenly screamed with her name Natalieeeeeeee, letting all the other team members know about it. Usually before this, whenever my team members asked me about her, I used to put plan face and deny any communication with Natalie. But this time I was caught and all of them surrounded my workplace to ask about what's the IP for? I immediately locked my PC because I knew that it will be some how connected to our last night's long telephonic conversation.
I managed to put them off from my place and silently tried to open that IP. But to the hell of my attention I missed Deepak was too smart to peep in as he sits right behind me. That fool again shouted at the top of his voice reading the message she has sent. The message reads "Mr. Crorepati, u still took time to guess my name".
I instantly replied back to her saying "But I guessed your name, right?" So what's my reward now. She took much long time to reply back to me than usually. I waited for her reply desperately but there was no sign of her, or any notification of opening my messenger box. Soon it was going to be lunch time and just before getting up for my break, her reply came. Lets talk when you will meet me at reception for your snooker game.
As usual I was the first one to reach at the pool table before others. A few minutes later our game begins with the other three players who came in after me. Thou I was there to play the game my whole attention were somewhere else. My eyes were fixed at the opposite door, as I knew she always comes from that entrance to chat with her friends.
I lost the game in the very first round as there was no mood of playing today. My soul purpose of reaching at the table was that I will get a chance to talk to her or at least peep at her while she will be busy talking to her friends. After losing the game, I took a near by seat on a couch, from where it would be easy for me to see her without being noticed by others especially from her friends(Devil's smile).
She was still talking to her friends, when suddenly she saw me staring at her. She indicated me to come near, where she was sitting with her friends. I tried hard to ignore her, but failed. Don't know what was stopping me from going there and talk face to face.
Finally she only got up from her friends zone and started walking towards me. I can see, all the players head turning towards her, and keep starring at her till she reached, where I was. Some were giving me cunning devil's smile and some where just shocked to see her communicating with me.
This was the first time when she and I was doing a conversation face to face after her birthday. The communication had not even started, and I went to my dreamy world, feeling her presence right in front of me. God knows what she was speaking. Nothing was going in my ears as my whole attention was at her red lips and cute face.
Noticing that I was not responding to her, she gave me a good jerk, bring me back to my senses. She asked me, what is it? Whether I was listening to her? I simply smiled and avoided her questions. She then repeated what she was asking me, Are you bringing you bike this Friday? I instantly said, Yes. If you are coming on a ride.
Don't know, whether I did right asking so bluntly about the ride. She stood up without uttering a word and started walking back to her work station. Her facial expression had changed drastically. God, don't know why girls don't express straightly whatever is in their mind. Yes or No. I would have taken her answer but she just started going away.
I was still sitting there with no answer, thinking whether I was hurrying too much in getting her, by putting that question about the ride. All negative thoughts started flowing inside my mind. What will she be thinking about me?, what impression she will now have about me and so on. She reached to the door, turned back and while she was about to entering the main door, she said. YES. see you on Friday morning.
God! that was such a big relief. All negative thoughts paused at once, leaving a very broad surprising smile on my face. Eagerly waiting for Friday morning NOW:)
