At times our actions are the result of rage.

My grandmother used to say that power doesn’t lie in defeating someone in an argument, it actually lies in controlling one’s anger.

Accepting our mistake makes us feel better and light. But what if we don’t get an opportunity to apologize?

My neighbour used to stay alone with his mother. He is in his late forties. Because of his excessive love and concern for his mother he didn’t marry. He was of the opinion that the Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law conflict might hamper his mother’s health. I don’t really know if Ekta Kapoor’s sagas have influenced his thought process.

Anyways, last week there was a little tiff between the mother and the son. After the heated argument, the son objected his mother from opening his cupboard. The misunderstanding continued for 2 days… Meanwhile, the mother complained of chest pain and was hospitalized. Later the doctors informed him that it’s a severe heart attack and the very next hour came the news of her demise.

It was a shocking news for everyone around and in particularly for her only son. He now believes that he is responsible for her death. One cannot be sure if what has happened is the repercussion of his action. Whatever might be the reason, he didn’t get the chance to apologize.

I am sharing this with you all as I felt this little incident will help us control our fury. If we met someone today, we cannot really be sure if we will meet them again… Appreciate the one who deserve, Love the one who care. Let's leave some good memories behind, let us apologize before it is too late.

Death is unexpected... Isn’t it?
