After having a long day at work, the first thing one wish for is to go home and rest… Such wishes are granted only if you commute by your own vehicle… Unfortunately I experience the dismay of hiring an auto daily after work… I call my area Ajaan Nagri, as none of the auto fellows wish to go there…If by any chance I succeed in hiring the auto early I call it… Angel Auto..!
Monday is often a busy day… A day on which I plan the schedule for the whole week.. As a result of which I started late from work… Unable to hire a rescuer, I kept walking till the main junction… I patiently waited for almost an hour and all my attempts to hire an auto proved futile…
As I was pondering on what to do next, the traffic police man from the main junction came to me and asked me where exactly I need to go… I mentioned my Anjaan Nagri’s name… I wondered how he would help me… He called for an auto, I told the location and as always the auto fellow was reluctant to go there… The Traffic Police man asked me to sit inside the auto, with his digital cam took the auto’s photo came to me and said…
‘Madam note down my cell number and give me a call once you reach home and then I shall delete his auto’s photo… else a chalaan (penalty) would be sent to him..’
I was amazed…!! Good Policemen do Exists..!! The Auto fellow kept grumbling throughout the way…! But that didn’t bother me much..! ;-)
After reaching home I gave him a call… I asked him his name…
