Voltas 18HELEGANTS 1.5 Ton Split AC

We bought this AC in May 2019. The AC worked fine last year, but it has only been throwing warm air once we started using the AC this year in April.

What has added more to the trouble is the extremely pathetic customer service!

Even though the customer care is very prompt in responding to the queries, the on-ground team is not at all up to the mark. They are not professionals and seem to intentionally not resolve the issue. There turn around time is extremely poor.

They even asked us to pay Rs1200, after doing some minor fixes, even though the AC was under a 1-year guarantee.

Joyful that after 3 months the AC might finally work, we even paid that!

I am extremely disappointed to say that it's been OVER 3 MONTHS now but the AC is not working despite several efforts by technicians. I strongly advise not buying Voltas AC at least in North India as their service is terrible.

I will post another review if the AC is repaired by VOLTAS, to keep other users updated on the story.

Voltas split ac 1.5 ton is bad quality Ac. Vary slower cooling system in this Ac. Power loss is vary fast and its compressor chance to damage. Heat exchange system is vary bad. Ecomomizer is bad quality. Outer fan not good. Weaste. Don't buy it. Price is acceptable but performance is bad. Service center not nearest. After 7 months iy will increase sound. You don't satisfy with this Ac and Weaste money.

I bought Volta's ac July 2018. 1 month before the compressor starts making unsusal sound. The compressor is tripping of frequently and getting over heat. The technician came and told the compressor need to be replaced. Within 2 yrs the compressor got failure. Though the compressor is in warranty I need to pay for the gas charging, repair charges etc, costs around 5000/-.Due to lock down compressor is also not . Waiting for the compressor to come. I never recommend Volta's ac . It's such a bad product and waste of money.

I bought 2 Voltas split air-conditioners(one tonne and 1.5 tonnes) last June. one of them gave trouble from the day one. the cooling of the other too was not up to the mark. The technicians who came for installation did not know their job. The supervisors who inspected the installation agreed that it was a poor job but no corrective action was taken.

Both of these have lost their gas in less than a year - within the guarantee period. But the Voltas' representative who came for inspection said the company would re-fill the gas but not replace the defective pieces with new ones despite being in the guarantee period.

Worst ever service, they install my product and the installation is worst. Our wall tiles were broken, no one is responding. They took money from us and didn't give us a receipt for the same.

Please don't buy any product from them.

Extremely bad product my big mistake to buy this ac. It is not working properly. I've called so many times for service but they r not responding . I called them since one month but they always said yur complained will be solved in 24hrs but they didn't come

3-4times gas leekage problem in 2 years and other many problems occur in voltas 1.5 tone spilt air conditioner.

Using voltas split A/C from last 2 year or more. And here are no change in A/C there is perfect working and maybe work perfectly in the future. I really like this and personally recommended this to Cooling lover.

I have purchased voltas AC on 15th feb. At the time of purchasing shop owner told me about 45 days free installation.

But due to AC delivered on 20th feb and then after I was not at home then after lockdown started from 22nd of March (it is under 45 days).

Now after trying hundred of times I able to raise complaint through what's app.

But when engineer called me he is asking for Rs 1500 charges.

If I compare it with Samsung services they provides 6 month after purchase installation.

Very disappointed for this type of service from TATA Group.

Don’t ever buy Voltas AC, pathetic service. I had to wait for 1 week for installation and they kept saying they will install in a day or 1 hour but no one turned up. I had to finally get it installed from another engineer not Voltas. I have another LG AC and never faced any issues with them. I wish there was an option for zero star I would select that.

Tata is a big brand and voltas Ac is it's own product .

We had purchased the window Ac in 2019, with registered number 9978728387 , mr Siddharth deora , pin no 395007 at bhatar road surat . Since our purchase within 8 months their have been major problems in it . In 1st complain the visited technician said connector is defective and required to be replaced. The same was replaced after 3 month in Feb 2020 . Now the same problem have arrived . After complaint to call centre we just get assurance. Yesterday we told the technician to replace the defective piece but he said that Volta's product does not get replaced . Let customer suffer they do not care , Tata does not care , they believe in sales only instead of sales after service. When they cannot solve the problem either they should refund the money or replace the AS but they are rigid and will never follow the moral rules . Brands like Tata should not do it

We have worst experience. The Ac is completely dead . At the name of corona they seems to save their face. We will take legal steps if immediate action is not taken . We are fed up with your call centres and technician promises. We cannot wait more for your connector as you will replace when available .

I purchased voltas ac 1.5 ton in March 18 th 2019..with in 9 months cooling problem araised..their technician came and adjusted and again from next day same problem..many times mailed to vcare and their service respond response and till time problem not rectified..my cousin also got board problem with in ayear..service is worst..do go for this..in my another room we are using onida ac from past 10years no problem at all.

Bought two AC from Voltas of 1.5 ton for my house. Both of them stopped working within a span of 4 months,

Post that multiple visit done by technician but unanle to resolve the issue.

After facing continous troubles, At last I had to replace them with Blue star and O general.

Initially, first 6 months the product was excellent, but after that it started showing error 8 at the beginning of rainy season, so I did not cared to get it repaired. In the month of March, it was not under warranty scheme so I hired local technician who brought to my notice the damaged PCB of indoor unit. Even after getting it repaired, the problem persists.

I tried to contact the company, but to my dismay, failed. the cost of pcb is exhorbitant.

Never buy this product otherwise voltas will take out your peace and family will make you ultas

We bought this AC 3 years ago during summer from QRS. For the first 8 months it worked well but then it lost cooling effect. We contacted customer care and after so many calls they send technicians and corrected it. Again within one month same complaint along with water leaking from ac. We again contacted customer care but their response was not well. So we hired technicians ourself. The third tym also it stopped working.This tym weird sound and smoke was coming out of the AC. We got fed up and bought a new cooler fan. This ac is stil on the wall doing nothing.

Voltas is a Tata Product and it is among's the very good brand as, Voltas has its own manufacturing unit, rest other AC companies get the parts assembles.

I am using this AC from last 9 years and still it is in good condition.

All internal parts are made up of copper, which is still higher than other manufacturer.

Cooling is V good, it just need regular service.

As per my point of view the life of this product(Voltas Split AC 1.5 ton 3 Star) is around 12 Years.

Electricity consumption remain same as other brand AC's.

Ac's Performance Is Good. But

After Passed a 1 Month Ac is Not Cooling My Room. I call Technician And He Serviced 2 times. But Coolling Problem Not Repair. Consumed Electricity Lot of. So

Trust Me Friends Don't Buy This Product. This is my personal opinion. so I hope you like .

I have brought 1.5 ton AC 2 year ago and 3 months it was good but after the servicing it was not cooling. But after every servicein it was getting worst so i stop using it regularly and stared using in summer seasons only
