Excellent brand of ac I am using voltas ac from last 1 year it has given a wonderful experience voltas ac  works good in all type of weather as the summer season is going on should buy voltas all weather ac it gives awsum cooling must buy.


I use these brand and also advice others to use it.

I got 1 ton split voltas from next ambattur, after 10 mnths ac stopped cooling, after lot of struggle people came frm voltas telling cooling coil to be changed.


I have been waiting past 10 days, v pathetic situation from tata, worst response from both the dealer and tata, no one takes responsibility. First I wonder how can a product cant withstand even 11 months when sparingly used, voltas people never bothered about customer care, has underwent lot of suffering after purchasing this product, long live voltas, inspite of telling them its for my clinic use they are v slow,


They have no spares in stock, I wonder how can a big company be like this? Vert unprofessional, my complaint no 15030904246

Bought voltas 1 ton AC+ relaince resq service support from Reliance retail, keelkattalai, chennai on 29/04/14, It was working fine for the fine for the first 3 months after that it taking very long time to cool. I was filed a complaint on reliance after 4 attempt they send a person.


And after a week same problem repeating as I am disappointed and using another one Samsung ac. I didnt called them again. But as summer is on the way I called them(reliance service keelkattalai), they said they will send a person within 48 hours. I have called and booked complaint 5 times within this month. still they didnt send any person to solve my issue. I am very much disappointed.

Voltas poor service after sales

I bought voltas  ton on reliance retail, keelkattalai, chennai on 29-04-14, and it is not working for the last 2 months due to gas leakage, dont knw what to do.i have called relaince and I cant contact voltas care which were not responding properly.


I can repair it by with  AC mechanics, but it is under in warranty. so please suggest me what to do.

We bought 2 split ACs. For the master bedroom, we went for a Hitachi because it was anticipated to have heavy use. For the second bedroom, where the AC was used only occasionally, we wanted a less expensive brand. Reviews suggested that Voltas is a reliable brand in that range. Since we only planned to use this AC sparingly, I expected no troubles.


However, the first summer after our warranty ran over(2nd year in running), the AC stopped cooling. We called customer service and some one did come. He immediately claimed that the gas has leaked and the cylinder should be replaced. This was to ensure that the leaking cylinder would not create issue in the future as opposed to just re-filling the gas. We paid Rs 2200 for the new gas cylinder. The maintenance engineer also gave us a warranty of 3 months on the leakage issue.


In another week of minimal use, the same problem surfaced again. Since then, we have started a part-time job: calling Voltas Service Center and reminding them that we have an open service request. It has been a week and they have not turned up and I guess, for the simple reason, that this time they won't be paid for an issue that they fixed and guaranteed for 3 months.


My only guess is that they have some kind of a 'smart' policy to to avoid those service request, where they are not likely to get any payment -'smart' customer service from 'smart' AC makers.


Oh, and did I mention, that Hitachi AC is working perfectly fine.

I recently bought this AC from Snapdeal. For the price it was a steal.


5 Star rating of 2014 standards.  EER: 3.51 .Cools my room of 120Sqft very quickly.  Sound of AC is also not much audible during operation, which is great. All components were provided in the box and I dint have to buy anything extra for installation. Box was packaged well and delivered in 3 days.


For those who have questions about warranty, you just need to register on VoltasAC.com with the name of actual vendor(Not snapdeal.com).


PROS:




  1. 2014 BEE rating




  2. Very less sound during operation




  3. Backlit button on remote.




  4. Build quality is good and the length of cables are pretty long.






CONS:




  1. Remote looks little flimsy in build. The LCD display doesn't have backlit.




  2. The horizontal air direction is fixed. It has to be manually set at one position.






Overall happy with the purchase.

Voltas has the worst ac. Guys don't buy this AC, it will stop working in 6-7 months.because of manufacturing defect . You can see it in the pic. Ihave taken this pic while engineer was talking about manufacturing defect. They will l fix the issue and again in 6 months u will get the same problem and this time no warranty. Lol!! Here starts their business!!!.Guys believe me life of ac is 6-7 months.I.have more pics and audio to drag them in court.

Voltas has the worst AC. Guys don't buy this the ac will stop working in 6-7 months becos of manufacturing defect. You can see above pic. I have taken this pic while the engineer was telling about manufacturing defect in that AC.


They will fix the issue and again in 6 months u would get the same problem and this time no warranty. lolz! They will charge for the same. Here starts their business. Guys believe me life of AC is 6-7 months only. Have more pics and audio. About to drag them to court. will do now.

Have a split AC 1 ton, For 2 yrs it worked fine, but then it has water leakage and its been so long since I registered a complaint and not even a phone call in return. With high temps and small kids in house, sleeping has become miserable for days now. The complaint no 14040706939 seems to have been discarded without even attending to it. Hence, poor rating.

I hardly used this dumb split ac as I was abroad most of the time. I came back and now it is started with lot of noise. I called up service center they assigned some technician from Amar enterprise, Thane.


Technician called up one day and told me that he will come in the afternoon. I took off from my work and stayed at home he didn't turned. I called him up lot many times and he always gave me answer as today or tomorrow he will come. he never came. I called up service center again. They sent some non skilled technician from Aman enterprise Ghansoli to my home. he fixed something and went away with rs 1800 (without receipt). After one hour again it stops cooling, again I called up technician and he came next day morning. He fixed something and went away. After one hour again it stops cooling.


Now he is not picking up phone. I don't want to call up again to service center and scrapping this AC. Voltas should improve their service quality. I would never suggest anybody to buy Voltas AC again.

I have been using Voltas Vertisa 1 Ton Split AC for the past 5 years and I haven't seen any problem with this product.


Good cooling in any temperature, consumes less electricity and this product exceeded the expectation, runs just like that, no service yet.

I have two Voltas window AC's so I never wavered when I needed a 3rd ac for my dental clinic.I purchased a 1 ton split 5 star rated AC one and a half years ago, I had recurrent complaints of machine cooling for exactly 45 mins and then there was wait thereafter  the machine would start again.


Each time I got the complaint serviced the service guys would blow dry the machine and charge me. Finally, the duration increased and the machine stopped. The Voltas guy refused to get the machine down , I finally got it serviced from private service provider.


How much it will work is yet to be ascertained. Service is a huge problem with Voltas AC's, so buy at your own risk and time....

I had purchased a Voltas Vertis Gemini AC (Serial no: 4511256A11A001410), vide Invoice no: VAS/310361 dated 31st March 2012, Amount Spent Rs.25499/- from Kohinoor – Vashi Branch . The AC was installed by an Authorized Service Centre Technician from Nahur Electronics Services, Nerul East, Navi Mumbai, on the 7th April 2012 by collecting a cash payment of Rs.1200/- towards installation charges, vide Receipt No.303 dated 7th April 2012.


Within a week of installation the AC was not functioning properly, for which I had logged a complaint call with Nahur Electronics Services directly and next day a person from Nahur Electronics (Authorized Service Centre) had come to inspect the AC and commented that the GAS in the compressor had leaked completely, and had taken the outdoor unit to their service centre and filled the GAS and reinstalled the outdoor unit at my residence.


After the re-installation, the AC was working fine for a week and again started giving problems. I followed the same procedure for the second and the third time with the service centre directly and was still facing the same problem. I lost hope with the service centre and finally decided to lodge a complaint with the Voltas Customer Care. The Fourth complaint was lodged by me with the Voltas Customer Care (Vide Complaint No: 12MY1708272 dated 17th May 2012) and the service center guy came to my residence and checked the AC and gave the same reply and the same kind of service. Within a week after repairing the AC, cooling effect went down completely and for the Fifth complaint, I followed the same procedure of lodging a complaint with Voltas Customer Care (Vide Complaint No.12MY2704049 dated 27th May 2012). This problem had occurred five times within less than 2 months of installation of the AC.


The Brand New AC which I purchased had created troubles within 2 months of installation and almost 25 days out of 45 days the AC was not working. So, Dear Friends please do not go for Voltas Vertis Gemini model AC. It sucks and creates depression to the customer. Make sure that you do not fall prey for Grey market products.

I bought a Voltas vertis elite air conditioner 3 weeks back to counter the summer heat. Having a one year old kid, I took pains in investing on an AC. But to my shock it didn't cooled after a week.


I have been chasing the service persons for 2 weeks in a row but they didn't turn up. Mr. Ram (THiruvallur Voltas service) keep on omitting my calls and pushing me to the brink of anger.


I am very disgusted with the service.

I bought 1.00TON 3s Platinum 3 days ago and got installed day before yesterday. It started making lot of sound just after installation. I had to open front door to get Serial Number to log a complain. I found the screw were loose/free.


I removed them, It started working okay for a day. next day again it makes lot of sound , No cooling at all. I tried calling there customer support 1-800-425-4555 at least 50 times. It is always busy. I paid around 21, 500.00 for this Tata junk product.


Cannot believe Tata making such a useless junk.

I am trying to reach the Voltas guys from last year but Phew!! there numbers are wrong/are always busy.. Don't know where to go to get my AC fixed. Don't want local mechanics to get it done.. atleast expect this service from the voltas guys.. But they are really killing their brand..


In this world where customer is King, I dont know how are they going to survive with such CRM initiatives..


Hope they see to this & revert at least..

I got a Voltas air conditioner from Chroma. I have never in my life seen such horrible service! Within a week of buying the Air conditioner it stopped working. There was serious noise that used to wake us up midnight. We realized because of gas leak there was frosting and the ice was breaking creating weird noise. We were advised to not use the AC.


We called customer care. Someone came to fix it and agreed there were issues with gas leak and wanted  us to tell him who installed the AC. We got it installed by Voltas - shouldnt you be telling us who installed it? Anyway, he told us the gas leak issue was fixed.


Within 2 days of the first person fixing the issue the AC again stopped functioning. We called customer care telling them there is an issue with gas leak. The person came after 5 days of registering a complaint, and came without gas. He left saying he doesnt know who installed the AC and wanted me to give him those details which I didnt have. All I know is this was installed by Voltas!


Everyone coming to fix this issue says that Voltas does not have customer care, and that they have tie ups with dealers to get issues fixed. This leads to a lot of confusion since no one knows who is responsible for incorrect installations, bad customer care etc.


We started facing issues within the first week of buying this AC and have never really used it. Now the summer is close to getting over! What a waste!

Don't ever buy voltas air conditioners.no service.once product is sold, consumer can go to hell.what is the point of buying a product if there is no support service.the company attitude is product has been sold , company now has no liability towards consumer.even if the product may be good , but that the consumer will know only over time immediately its the service that counts.so kindly change your service contractors if you want your market to grow.


I would definitely not recommend to any of my friends n relatives. I have a.c of other brands too but never had any problem!!!1

Purchased 3 Acs Voltas vertis split in april 2011 from Croma phoenix mills, The installation was done in installments, the gas were filled weeks after installing the machines. Now it is May 2012. Havent seen the face of Voltas servicing person at all. The cooling has dropped largely, indoor unit makes noise. After having written to the regional CS head on their website there has been no response. what surprises me is that in the meantime the Croma technicians keep calling for service appointments but as soon as they know that the machines are from Voltas they excuse themselves. Either this sale has not been communicated by Croma to Voltas. Or the state of affairs in these companies is like Taliban with no logical work flow. What surprises more is that both Croma and Voltas are Tata companies still some glitch in communication. I feel the assurance I felt while making the purcase becz of the Tata name was ill founded.


One year has passed with no after sales!
