I bought videocon window ac in 2014 and it was my one of the worst decision ever because when I bought it my friends and relative suggest me for voltas but I went for videocon because I got discount and offer of free four sevices I bought it from zirakpur jai ambey enterprise .it works very good for first year but then next year the coolin gone down I complained service center two persons ame and service the ac after this it works very well for next month and again got same problem I compliant agian they do something and it work properly for 3 months only I fel irritated and sold it after ttwo years of use now I am using voltas it works very good without any complaint fom last two years

Today I will review the Videocon VWF53.WE1-QL 1.5 ton 3 star window AC.

I am owning this AC since 2010 and I have to say that this is a worst AC.

Its so noisy that you can't even sleep with it and the cooling level is too low.

Its also not easy to clean the AC as it requires heavy cleaning and washing which is really a piece of hardwork.

After all I wanna say that this AC is not  good instead you should go for Voltas AC for better results.

It is good Air Conditioner . It's services are provided and supported by Videocon company . Cooling performance is not so high and sound performance is so much . Reliability is OK of this Air Conditioner . It's price is not so high that nobody can't purchase it's price is only twenty three thousand eight hundred rupees , this price was before five years ago.

VIDEOCON HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD IN THE COOLING SECTOR THAT IS IN AC AND THIS ONE FROM VIDEOCON WHICH I PURCHASED RECENTLY IS PRETTY GOOD AS WELL.THE AC IS OF 1.5 TON WHICH MEANS IT IS ENOUGH FOR A MEDIUM SIZED ROOM .THE COOLING DOWN PROCESS IS VERY MUCH FAST I WOULD SAY.I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE MATERIAL OF THE CONDENSER BUT PROBABLY COPPER AS I HAVE HEARD OFF.THIS IS ALSO A 3 STAR RATED AIR CONDITIONER WHICH MEANS YOU CAN HAVE SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS.

My father's brother purchased this a while back and when I paid him a visit he seemed to be very complaining about it.Even I saw the reason.

The cooling rate is not fast at all.it takes a way more than the usual time to cool up than the normal air conditioners which are available in the market at the same price bracket.

Maybe this is my personal experience and might not be faced by all.Also I have to set the temperature at 20 degree celcius in order to achieve the cooling which is achieved at about 24 degree celcius in case of a normally functioning air conditioners.

The design is conventional as you would expect in a videocon air conditioners.The reason why I was sad was the fact that I have seen other air conditioners from videocon and they seemed to be working perfectly well and the cooling was also top notch.So I would suggest you to take a look at the other videocon air condtioners and then come to a conclusion.

Videocon air conditioner is very poor in work. We buy a air conditioner last year videocone. It's really bad in work and not cooling properly. And the service center didn't work properly. They provide very poor services. We call many times but they don't come. They check our air conditioner and not come again. After that we sale air conditioner on flipcart in lose. After that who's buy the air conditioner. He complains many times. But single one service men not reach. Very very bad service.

I am the user of videocon air condition.I have a 1.5 ton Ac for my bedroom.My bedroom size is approximate 175sqft.The Air condition doesn't cover the entire room.whenever I keep it on 17 then also it doesn't cover.The parts which is used it the ac is not a good quality products.I think it is made in china.The condensor also makes noise.I have a split ac.

Yes Iam satisfied with performance and we people are suggesting our friends to busy videocon cooler as it was giving good performance in reasonable prize and slighty unsatisfied with company people. But performance wise good product for that prize and I asked many people about this product the also satisfied and giving positive words towards the product and the also satified with performance of videocon 1.5 ton window.

I have an videocon window ac it is of 1.5 ton. I have the one from last three years, it is very good ac for me, I do not have any problem in this yet. Videocon provide good service, It cools the room fast, it consume bit high electricity the new split ac, but it has low price then the new technology and new split ac, it is not automatic off when the room is coold. I love this product I am feeling comfrot.

Never buy Videocon products! , their after sell service is so bad.they have appointed some third class companies for electronic product after sell service.I have just wasted my hard earned 27k by buying Videocon AC.11 months 3 repairs and still giving problems.I wanted register 4th complaint before 1 year warranty period but these people made me wait and called me back after warranty period got over.and now asking money for repair.worst electronic product company in India.

I got this AC a couple months ago.and I see that this Airconditioner is one awesum product.it makes my room soo cold dat it feels like I am in kulu.i really luv having purchased this airconditioner.T his is an advice for anyone who wants to purchase an airconditioner , I wud recommend u to buy this one cuz its one super cool AC.

I think as far as ac is concern videocon is the king in making ac. I am using a videocon window ac and is the best for my single room.

It cools the room very quick the only condition is the room should be totally pack for best results.so I would recommend every student staying in a single room use the ac of videocon .

It not only looks beautiful but its cheap also in price and the it doesn't consume much electricity. so I will say it to be the best.

I am unable to understand as to why brands make every electronic item when they could not make even a single one .i bought videocon 1.5 ton window ac for my room.

After. 2 to 3 days its cooling started to decrease .iused it continously for 3to4 houts but noting happrned.

I caaled to service centre , they told thier complaint will be accepted after 4 days.i waited no one came and after doing eberything I called a local electrician and he told that compressor is old and some of its parts were broken icalled service centre for warrranty which every ac company offers.they told physical damage id not covered in warranty. I thought that someone has fooled me.i will never buy an ac from a brand like videocon

My Videocon AC got out of warranty, so thought buy online and save time, Loged and paid

Normally receipt should come, but did not happen, but got debit advice from citi card.

Now going from pillar to post for contract. They want 30 days turn around

Time, Which organization in today's world can affod that luxury.

Very company friendly process, it should have customer friendly

I've been using Videocon 1.5 Ton Window AC for last 5 years and happy with the performance even after 5 years.

Durable, affordable, only services is not that good. but still I will recommend as you won't need it.

I asked each of my friend to buy Videocon only instead of going for any other brand if you're looking for performance, durability, and affordability and Videocon is the only choice. Go for it.

The After sales Service of Videocon is worst like anything. I have requested for 1st service, Videocon has sent the outsourced Service center guy(PEARL HOME CARE, NEW DELHI). The guy asked me for advance for the job which he will be doing after 2 days.

When I refused & said do the job & get money, he connected me to regional VIDEOCON guy, Who advised me that this COMPANY POLICY to collect advance.I am really amazed & stressed buying a VIDEOCON product with this kind of IDIOTIC after sales service.

Will suggest DO NOT BUY VIDEOCON's AC.

I am using this 1.5 tonne window AC for almost 5 years by now. This is the worst AC that I have ever seen. Videocon is a crap company. They cannot maintain their quality standards. That’s why whatever business they start, it goes into garbage. Example – Videocon mobile service.

After only one year of usage, the entire control panel of the AC is confused. Its processing unit is collapsed I guess. If you press “COOL” button, “FAN” will be operated and vice versa. Not even a single button do its prescribed operation, rather it will do other button’s function. The buttons are also very cheap in quality. They tore away after some hundred presses. Remote is also not working fine at times.

Above all, the AC grabs a lot power that it burns a hole in my monthly current bill. I am not at all switching it on for few months. Going to throw it away. Please folks, don’t buy any Videocon products.
