This is about after sale service experience of Samsung AC.
I had purchased a Samsung Split Ac that has inbuilt stabilizer. It was an attractive offer, with free installation and free three services for one year.
Ac was installed in time, without any problem. The guys who came to install were efficient, quietly did their job and left.
The chaps who came to service the ac first and second time were good too. Both the times, two chaps came. They were all humble and gave good advice on the upkeep of ac. They even swiped clean the floor, after asking me for a wiper, as there was muddy water everywhere due to ac service.
Then came the time for the 3rd and the last free service. Before the service guys came, as usual, I covered my low marble top side table, that was just below ac, with newspaper, to avoid dust. Now, these two chaps came in a hurry, one guy constantly talking on his mobile, and climbed up the heavy marble top table, with'his shoes on'. I had to shout at him and then he stopped talking on phone and looked at what a blunder he was doing.
He came down the table saying, he thought the table was covered with newspaper for him to climb. Couldn't he notice or apply his brain that standing on this low height table, his hands would never reach the ac on top? The table was very expensive and the top was already so heavy and had wooden legs, it could have broken due to this chap's weight. He didn't even have the decency to ask before taking this step.
Even during the service, his phone kept ringing and he answered all his calls. He hardly did his job seriously. In the mean time the other guy cleaned the unit that was on the floor and resulted in muddy water everywhere. Remembering my experience from before, I gave him the wiper. But this man simply said he won't do it. Let the floor dry on its own.
By now, I too wanted these two useless guys to get out my house. Probably, they were not serious in this free wala service, nor did I like their presence.
If I have to bear with such brainless and inefficient service guys of Samsung, then I will rather not have any kind of after service from them.
AC is good, its inbuilt stabilizer has saved me space on floor and now I get its service done from my local ac service guy who is efficient and gives ample time to his job.
