I purchased the Samsung 1 Ton Split AC last month for my bedroom from a major electronics store in Mumbai. I got a good deal as I paid 32000 for this AC. The price included standard installation.
The samsung staff came the very next day for the installation and completed it in 1.5 hours. They did not charge any extra money.
As for the AC performance, it is doing a great job. I am using it for almost 6 hours every day and the temperature control is perfect!
I like the turbo cooling mode in the AC. The remote is also very good. Witha an Lcd display. The Ac also has a nice blue light in it. It is a 3 star AC so I am not worried about the power consumption. It has come with a 5 years compressor warranty. The tubing inside the ac is all copper.
The unit is very silent and quick in cooling. The swing function also works very well. The AC also has a power saving mode in it. Looks wise as well it is pretty decent! I am totally satisfied with the purchase and I will surely recommend it to every one.

I have been using Samsung Split AC 1 Ton since last year and I and regret to inform that not satisfied with this company. For the starting few months my AC worked quite perfectly but gradually I started to face several issues in my Samsung Split AC. First of all I experienced leak in the condensor cost me me of Rs.6400/- as the Technion clearly says that condensor needs to be changed even when it was a manufacturing defect. After few days I find cooling of Samsung Split AC 1 Ton was not up to the mark. Now whenever I start my AC the fan starts in full speed and after few minutes the speed of fan suddenly drops. Even maintaince of this AC is very tough. I am completely unsatisfied with Samsung Split AC 1 Ton.
I purchased Samsung 1 Ton 5 Star Crystal AR12HC5ESLZ Split Air Conditioner at the time of summer here at Chennai. I got it at most reduced business sector value which is practically RS 3000/ - lesser than some other sources. The item is of dull blue shading and is verging on like the shading we are seeing on the site. I like it all that much. The AC is working fine in this way. The cooling effect produced by the AC is quite good. I would recommed this product to anyone who is willing to purchase an Ac

A genuine advice - Please donate your hard earned money to charity instead of spending it on buying a Samsung Airconditioner. Their Customer Service is one of the most pathetic & frustrating. The Call Centre gives sweet empathizing responses but their Service Centre is full of ass-holes who work as per their whims and fancies and cheat people of their money claiming for repairs that were never due.
Complaints to Samsung falls on deaf ears and nobody helps.Samsung AC products are not durable & their after sales service sucks.Its a sheer waste of money & efforts to buy Samsung products.They offer no escalations and timelines are never adhered to.Service Centre engineers are thugs who confuse and cheat innocent customers.
I have been using Samsung aircons since long, personally I have two aircons from Samsung, both are split aircons.
I clean the filter regularly and call for an authorised service after an interval of three months, in a year. I need to call them twice, in winter months it's not used that much.
The efficiency of the aircons are quite good, the current rating of the aircons matches with that claimed by the company.
There are various acs in the market, Samsung offers a good service quality. One should buy an a/c after calculating the right tonnage required and see BEE rating.
I have got 4 Samsung Split Ac's installed in my house. I curse the moment when I decided to purchase this dreadful product. Right from a few days after purchasing the product each one is taking its turn regularly to go into strike.
I am truly fed up with calling up of service people to get it repaired. Last month only I got 2 of my AC's serviced and repaired by the service man. Within one month both the AC's have the same problem again, that is AC runs properly but there is no cooling effect.
The compressor is about to be fully written off with in a few years after buying it. Water leaks from the unit frequently, gas leaking and what all problems are there in the world with any AC can be seen in Samsung too. Finally I have decidd not to get it repaired anymore and throw it away for exchange and get a good company product. While I write this review for the last 2 nights in the un tolerable temperature of 40+ in Chennai, these 2 AC's are showing their true colors and not working at all giving me sleepless nights. Its time to say goodbye ever to Samsung split AC.
I have also bought Samsung split ac during last seasons and its just excellent product by Samsung. It has never gone into nonworking condition. I don't have to spend any single penny in last two years and it still gives me excellent cooling. You can check all details at Samsung official sites

Product wise it may be good. But there is virtually no after sale service for Samsung AC in India. People are innocent to buy their products. They do not have company service stations. Only franchise. Service is very expensive and Company does not have any control over them.
What is the use? I have had a very bad experience of Samsung. There is no way we can complain. I begged for service but no success. If you want to beg for service, please buy Samsung AC! They never care for our feedback. If interested, I will write my detailed experience. I spoke to many people and they are of same opinion. Why is Samsung still in India?
My further experience, Samsung does not have their Service Center. They depend on Franchises only. If after sales service is bad, especially for AC, no need to buy it. I am warning prospective buyers, please do not buy Samsung Split AC. We are not so rich to buy a new one every three years. I live in Hyderabad which has excellent weather. Why coils are getting corroded? That speaks volumes about the quality of materials.
Please do not buy Samsung AC. Their service is very-2 bad. Their customer care never responds. Their engineers never pick your call. I booked a complaint 10 days back to fill the gas but nobody came to pick the AC.
Multiple times I called their engineers at 7835049995 & 7835049984 but they never pick the call. One or two times they pick & say they are coming & after that they will switch off their phones.
Is this a joke that Samsung is playing?
How does Samsung say they are the best? Is the Korean team aware of all this? If not, then I do not understand how they are handling their service in India.

I bought split AC in 2010 and it is still working as good as new AC. I recommend to go for it. People who face problem they write review. No one writes when their experience is something good.

Waste of money.. even though I did saw the review on mouthshut before buying and everybody said it's bad idea to buy Samsung.. still bought looking at its brand name.. made a mistake..
I bought this one ton AC of Samsung two years ago, sales representative in one of the store endorsed this AC to me. Soon after a week of purchase I started facing issues with the AC. Gas leakage has been consistent issues and it has been repaired by service engineers 11 times so far.
It just (normally) takes 15-24 days for service engineers to assure repair of the product against their claim of service resolution within 24 in Chennai. Gas leakage continues and I have spent about 15, 000.00 rs for servicing so far (AC cost was 27000 rs).
The main concern is- inhaling of the gas leaked from AC, this is causing vomiting sensation, headache, skin irritation & itching problem to me and my wife every morning. Furthermore usage can cause brain damage and death.
I have raised these concerns to the Samsung authorities by sending them several written letters to head office and by contacting them over the phone however they are sadly helpless. They would have no clue even if a person dies, they have sold their product and rest is not under their responsibility framework- they don’t know you attitude.
These MNCs behaves like an ordinary local company when they are operational in India; they are not bothered about human lives! In western countries, these companies they have best possible ratings when it comes to product and services (with same cost), they are doctorate in refining service standards however it’s not the same in India as we are at opposite side of the world (US).
I bought 1 ton split samsung AC in April 2010. It's display went bad. It's 3 weeks since I am following up with there service centre but there is no response. Even writing on there website does not invoke any response.

I bought a 1.5 tonne split ac of samsung a big name in market sometimes more recommended by people even than LG. My experience is that I will never recommend to anyone to buy such a not worthy, priceless, product. I bought it in sep 08. till now I have called around 15 times. but all my efforts are no avails. Three times they have refilled gas on payments. two times coil repairing. and sometimes minor problem like no cooling etc.
Now I have sold it within two years on scrap basis.
I will strongly recommend that no one should purchase Samsung a.c.
I have purchased in April 2009 samsung split 1.5 ton airconditioner and it has started giving display problem soon after 3 months. sections of display numbers are not visible and number 26 looks like 23 and so on. The company replaced it once with a new display and it again developed the same problem after 15 days. Now that the warranty period of one year is over, they say that I have to pay rs.750/- for a new display and rs.450/- as service charge, with no guarantee for the replaced display.
The technicians themselves admit that samsung split a/c has a display problem and they can do nothing about it.
Hence, I would advice my well wishers not to go in for samsung or similar korean devices, which are, it seems made of cheap materials, for reducing costs and compromising on quality.
I have another Onida split ac and the third voltas, both are fine and they do not have display problem.
We bought this 1.5 ton split in March 2009 and by April 2010, the a/c had a problem. Its GAS content was low. We found this out when the there was no cool air coming out from the a/c. And upon repeatedly calling the a/c guys, who showed up in 3 days!!!We called them continuously for 4 days after the mechanics showed up, but upon seeing our numbers, they would automatically put us on hold.
Finally we requested our office maintainence staff who got the work done in 1 day!SAMSUNG - no product reliability. WORST SERVICE response !!! DO NOT buy
Recently I bought samsung 1.5t window ac and to my surprise being a big name in the market I was shocked that the ac didn't worked at all. The motor was not working and the swing was not working. The remote of the ac was also not working.
On keeping it on for more than 30 mins there was no cooling. Then we asked to chenge the ac and on changing it too, the other unit also not worked. Even the water drainage point of the ac was broken. It is also very noisy. I would suggest everyone not to buy samsung ac.
In comparison to other brands it is costlier too.
My advice is NOT to buy Samsung AC. You need to purchase another good AC with 10 to 15 days. No one help you to solve issue or replace new one or refund even if its not working. Don't buy SAMSUNG AC. Its will kill you.
It won't cool and the money you paid won't be returned by the Samsung company.
I love it because not only me but in maximum places I have seen it. The reason is only that it is "The smart cooling electroguy". I prefer for it because I love peace of mind.
No other competitors can match with its technology , really after sometime it can be called by the name "The Eighth Wonder". In short we can call it as "Value for money for years". The product tells itself its qualities.
No any other word is in my mind to explain the features , because once you become the addictive of it. You must be spoil yourself. Start to live in peace and of course healthy too.
