After calculating the split ac tonnage requirement on you website https://lg.com/in/support/ac-tonnage and also consulting your store manager at Nagpur I bought a LG 1 ton Split Inverter AC on 5th June 2017. The intallation people confirmed that as per the area of 95 sq ft the 1 ton ac will be sufficient. So they installed the AC. But after installation the AC was not cooling the office cabin. So I thought as the ac is new it might take some time. But after 5 days on continues working it failed to cool the room. I registered a complaint on the toll free number of LG. The person who came told me the room is big for the 1 ton ac. I tild him the room is less than 100 sq ft. He said height is to much. I told him height is 12 ft which is reasonable height. Then he told the ac is ok. It will take some time. Then after 2 days I again registered a complaint the person who came this time told me ac is installed in wrong place. It must be in the center of the room. Then he told me I will send the seniour with some device. The senior person came today and he said that the ac is performing 100%. But I will like to mention here that the ac is on 10 hrs on 18 and high cooling mode still there is no sign of chilling. The person visiting the office feels hot and all of them asked me the which company ac is this which is not able to cool such a small room.
The following question arise in my mind after the above incidence:
1) The website which guided me to buy a 1 ton ac was a geniune one?
2) The person who came to fit the ac should have guided me the direction if it was wrong?
3) Every company say 1 ton is enuf for 100 sq ft is LG is out of the streem?
4) If a 1 ton ac cant cool a 100 sq ft room then what is the best size of room which it can cool?
5) A 250 sq ft hall in my home is been cooled by Videocon 1.5 ton ac which also defrost when the perticular temperature is reached but this 1 ton lg ac dont do that in 100 sq ft room. Why?
6) Who is liable if the ac is not cooling the room though ur technician find the ac ok?
7) After spending rs 35800 on a 1 ton ac dont u think that I would have got many good companies 1.5 ton ac at the price below that?
8) Will LG replace the ac with higher cappacity or accept that their 1 ton ac is a one which can cool ony a 30-40 sq ft pan shop or a toilet?
Plz answer my question if LG thinks it is a multinational and a reputed brand.
Thanks.
Sumit.
