I bought lg vacuum cleaner vcd 271 - htk for 6050 rs(which is around 120 usd). After 3 weeks the switch on button got broken.
I have 1 year warranty from lg and 2 year extended warranty. I called inorbit mall in malad west mumbai custom service at 18002583636 from where I bought the lg vacuum cleaner. They first checked all my details to make sure my name matched their record and after they told me that they can't do the service I have to call lg at 18002583636.
I called lg they told me to call another no 18601809999. I called another no - they told me to wait for their representative to call me. I waited for 3 days nobody called me. I called them again they told me that they have my details and their representative will call me I said no you give me your representative no I will call him or her they give me no+91 810 8181314.
After my call representative came and said that this detail is not available in india. They have to order it after one week I called again he said detail is on the way I have to wait for one month. After one month I called he said they did not order detail as they did not have xerox of proof id and copy of the bill though he has all details in his system and address is the same. I asked him to come and collect the copy of id and bill he said he will come today. Today he didn't come and when I call the phone is busy, more than one month is gone.
Please never buy LG air conditioner. The person comes for installation, never does it properly. So you are bound have problem of gas leakage due to vibration. When you register your complaint, LG customer Service takes about atleast 10 days to attend the complaint. I have registered the complaint in last week of Mar 2012 and they attended the complaint in mid of Apr 2012.
After service, they are suppose to provide the bill, which has not been provided till May 3, 2012. After service, if you face the same problem, it has to serviced at free of cost, if you have bill.
