Koryo AC 1.5 ton Horrible Service

E-Zone Karol bagh should be made to close down their shutters  immediately alongwith Future Value company for misleading the consumers  to whom they pester to buy Koryo AC. Without going through these review I  purchased two ACs 1.5 ton and 0.8 ton from them and faced horrible  experience when I called them for after sale service since one AC  stopped working within one month of purchase. They told that the  installation was not done properly and abrubtly left. After repeated  phone calls and threatening them with filing a legal suit in the  Consumer Forum service engineer came to me and rectified. Why can’t we  all file a joint suit in Consumer Forum against these company. Their  websites are also not providing any higher officials contact details to  escalate the issue of worst service offered by them. Such a useless  website

I am astonished to see that the after sale service of a Private label KOryo offred by One of the leading retailer in the country.....


Pls go through the trail mail and you will come to know the attiMr_customtakeouter of people in the company, worse is that people are not ready to pick up the phone or respond on the mail.


The question here is??? Is the warranty offered by Private label is just a formality to get the customtakeouter confidance and thus sale


Are the leading retailers In India have customtakeouter as a priority by offering value for money with services? orthey are just trying to cater the one time aspirational need of the consumer and after sale service is last in their agenda.


Pls see the mail chain by one of the customtakeouter in last one month and there is no one in the company to respond back........

This is to inform you that I lodge a complaint regarding my AC which is not working on 17-May-11 and complaint No. 139155 , and your engineer came on 21st to solve the issue but when he came he declare the compressor need to be change and ask for one week time to arrange the same, but strange to see that till now it’s pending not yet replaced, I use to call on your Call center No. 18004257722 and every time they said it will take one more week, and they have given some name & No. to contact them directly ( Mr.Sanjay Lalchandani – 9311629195 / Mr.Manjit – 8010113233 / Mr.Naresh Upadhaya – 7503020832) but it’s seems that they are very busy in their work and unable to pick the phone after so many missed call even, so I don’t think that words I am using for them is correct or not but relay such people should be in your system who cannot face the problem and customtakeouter too, so now I am writing this mail today and see what will happen after this I am hoping for the best and prepare for worst because if I have paid good amount for a AC and it will not working at least in hot summer periods then I don’t think beyond this………………………………………….

Koryo 1 ton AC bought from E Zone SoBo Central Mall Mumbai ?Central. I can't say it was bad service because there was no after sale service at all. When required repair after almost nine times ringing them up they acknowledged the complaint.


After 12 days of continuously calling them am threatening of that we are going to Consumer court they pay no heed to the complaint and still remains unattended. I think if I had bought assembled A/c that would have given me better services than big name like E ZONE.

Very poor installation

I had purchased a KORYO Split ac 1.5 ton capacitymodel no KSO18A035 written on the packing and model no KS118A03S written on the bill from bigbazarSaharagunj Lucknow on 12-08-10.The m/c was installed at my residence on 14-08-10 by untrained people who did not follow any guidelines specified for installation of split units.Some of the blunders committed by them are as follows:-


• At the time of connecting both pipes to the outdoor unit(condenser coil) no vacuum and purging had been done. Which is a clear violation of instructions laid down in Installation Manual (page 11). In fact the men deployed for installation did not carry any vacuum pump and refrigerant cylinder. They just connected the pipe and opened the gas there by contaminating the refrigerant with atmospheric air and moisture present in the tubes and the evaporator coils(indoor unit).They were very much ignorant about the fact that the refrigerant would be contaminated with air and moisture present in the tubes and evaporator coils if vacuum not done and insisted that they have installed hundreds of A.C like that only.


• The extra pipe has not been cut but left rolled just to avoid cutting and preparing ends


• The indoor unit base plate has been fixed with wood screws hammered in the pvc bushings and not screwed .The steel screws with pvc bushings supplied with the unit has not been used.


• The workmen did not had any tools needed for installation viz-level gauge, torque wrench, gas leakage detector, , Vaccum pump, Thermometer multimeter etc as no current drawn was measured nor temp measured


• Out door unit has not been anchored and is just placed on the roof top.


• No installation completion report neither the installation charges receipt has yet been given.


In view of above the machine is under performing and my get damaged early. I would request you to look into the matter and take up the issue with the installing agencies at the earliest.I have also made a complaint to this effect at toll free no today (service no 252297).The suppliers/manufacturers are keeping a deaf ear on the issue and are not responding.

I am Dr. Saurabh Goyal I have purchased a 1.5 Ton Window AC of Koryo model KWR18AO2S bearing s.no.10C0280 with Cash Memo no.T26/19364 on date 23/06/2010 from Big Baazar, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh & got it installed on 27/06/2010. Since from the first day I am facing the cooling problem. I have also contact the salesman. Registered the complaint on E-care personally but nothing works. Send six reminders by email from top to bottom i.e. from Mr. Kishore Biyani to feedback@koryoworld.com but still nothing works Moreover the salesman told me that the AC is having Hitachi compressor, on the contrary it is having Toshiba compressor.

Koryo stabilizer sucks... so does koryo geyser

Bought 2 a/c's and got koryo stabilizers as part of the package (ezone Chennai) one went bust in the first week. fortunately ezone replaced with a different brand. Bought 3 koryo geysers, 1 has not worked since installation. Koryo service has visited 3 times. now ezone wants me to followup with koryo. but koryo is their store brand.


Technician says there is manufacturing defect, ezone asks for technicians number, probably they will fire him for that, poor guy.


Never buy koryo products. its not worth the savings. if one product goes wrong your savings will disappear in phone calls to ezone and koryo. and that too you cant use the product for months. mine is completing one month of non use.

I'm sorry, I don't agree with any of the reviews that have been written until now about the Koryo AC.. I'm writing this review because I was so impressed by the ac and the work done by the technicians today in installing it.. And I felt the brand was not done justice by the previous post so here goes... I'm writing this review by being as unbiased as possible from the point of a neutral user who has tried out many ac brands like LG samsung godrej carrier voltas.


I brought a KORYO 1.5 ton split ac from eZone Oberoi mall on 6th june. It costed only 19 g's which was part of some offer on that day.. today being the 8th of june, it was delivered by afternoon and the installation technicians came by early evening.. the techs were very diligent in installing it and utmost care was taken in the process.. they got it done within 4 hours. Unlike a samsung croma tech who had taken 3 full days to install the ac in the hall.. it was installed without any fault and I'm sitting right now in my room with the ac on..


about the ac itself its awesome.. the cooling is just too strong and the fan is very powerful too.. yeah it looks a little crude and boxy but if u can ignore that and if u want just a plain awesome ac with superior cooling this is the way to go!


all in all a great product.. a must recommend for a powerful straightforward awesome valued AC.. unless you are a brand nymph that is!

I bought KORYO 1.0 Ton AC on 11th April 2009 from E-Zone, Karol Bagh Store looking at their service offerings as equivalent to LG or Samsung and cost benefit they were offering since they save on Advertising and Marketing cost. The AC was to be delivered on 13th April but after too much of follow-up with the store and the customer care, it got delivered on 8th day.


This was not all, the delivered AC got fitted 1 week later and after being fitted we realised that the AC never worked and in-spite of multiple follow-up's, nobody is ready to hear our grievance. There is no co-ordination between the store, call center and koryo customer care. God knows how these people operate. I would like to urge everybody NEVER EVER purchase any product of KORYO. I have now decided to register complaint with Consumer court and take them to task.

BEWARE NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FUTURE GROUPS E ZONE Edit Delete Posted on May 04, 2009 under General.


Unfortunately I have purchased an ac from e zone {the useless company called FUTURE GROUP by kishore biyani}and it stopped functioning from the second dayand that was about a Month back and since then I've been trying all the phone nos provided by the KORYO ac company and they are still finding away out how to reach me may be????


There is absolutely no service that is provided by these people and summer is fast getting over and I' m repenting why on earth I bought this cheap stuff and suffering now, its complete loss of peace of mind and please for gods sake please do not buy any appliance from e zone as the have no control of any products that they sell, they are interested only in getting their commission. They are making me run from pillar to post for one month and still nobody has visited my place to rectify the mistakes..beware beware beware

I bought koryo 1.5 ton split from electronic bazaar in shipra mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Lured by the comparatively cheaper price and salesperson assurance that this fastest selling AC I bought it for my parents. It worked for about 15 days when we noticed that there is some noise from the external unit even when the AC is shut. We complained for the same and after repeated calls the service person came and opened almost every single nut and bolt. He mentioned some part has to be replaced and it will come from Bangalore. He could fix the whole thing but AC stopped cooling altogether.


The service person informed that he will get the part in weeks time and then it will be fixed. Rest is history. Its been 8 months now, we have probably made 8000 calls from their mechanic to MD and got all sorts of lie possible on earth. "Sir it will be fixed by tomorrow or day after" is what we have heard almost from everyone. They have visited a couple of times (may be 5-6 times since August), with big teams (with so called "senior engineer") but they couldn't make it work. My parents are old and I feel it was my biggest mistake to buy this "cheap" AC. I have no choice but to buy a new AC for them as Summer is approaching again. 20k spent on that piece of sh** brought nothing but stress and frustration.
