Hitachi split is very bad ac in india. Because all cooling system and all facilities are very poor in this AC. Hitachi split Ac 1.5ton is not soo good for Room in our indian culture. So I don't like to this ac. Hitachi is mostly used in Dubai or other section of state. But. Hitachi ac is not good for our. Hitachi Split Ac is not provide to us. A good facilities and system to us. So I don't like it and I suggest to you that you do not purchase to this product of hitachi. And dont like and love to product of hitachi.

I have purchased HITACHI 1.5 TON AC just few month back. But not happy with performance.

Cooling is very bad. In night it goes at worst level. I have invested money in buying AC . But my opinion these days is that cooler is better than HITACHI AC. Even service is recently done, but still no improvement.

I bought the A.C. From Croma store and it's been a month now and the product does all the justice to the heat of delhi. The condenser comes with pre-coated anti-corrosive materials. Also, have the iclean feature which is a part of now a days smart A.C.

After sale sercive was also OK but they did not provide angles to mount the outdoor piece compressor of A.C.

Hitachi, performance is really good. It is silent and perform as designed.

I have bith the ACs of this brand and believe me the durability of Hitachi ACs are far better than others.

Hitachi is one of the best brands in air conditioner in the indian market in current times.

The Air conditioner I bought was based on the same brand power.

The packaging/boxing was like any other normal air conditioner.

What lied inside was different. The air conditioner boosted of copper tubings which are more flexible and sturdier than other ones.

Air conditioner fitting personnel were sent by the company only and they charged a nominal standard rate of Rs 1500/-

When air conditioner was started, the air conditioner was so silent I could barely feel it is on. A close view only ascertained it power up condition.

However even if my other air conditioner(Kenstar) was making a lot of sound in my other room, still I found that the cooling of my Kenstar air conditioner was much better than the Hitachi one.

When I called customer service, they sent a personnel a few days later. He was unable to judge any issue and initially said that everything is normal and kept on insisting us to sign the papers consistently even when I told that I am not satisfied with service.

After much denial, he said that he is unable to find the problem and will send his seniors.

Later we found that the PCB of the Air conditioner was faulty.

However the personnel came after about 2 weeks after regular calling customer service.Even after that he is not obliged to change PCB. But after much insistence he changed the PCB and now it is running like charm.

Overall a very good experience in service by AC but a bad experience on customer service part.

Note:- Dont let personnel take away the leftover copper tubing after installation. Its a part you have paid for.

I have this Hitachi Ac, and this is one of the best Ac in the market. Hitachi is a reputed company for Ac for many years. Though the ac look simple compare to other brands ac's but the performance of Hitachi Ac is better than most other ac's. The price of this ac is around 44000/- rs. Now come to its features it has various cooling categories according to choice and whether situation. It has auto timer, auto cooling mode, kamin mode etc. The cooling of this ac is really good and the power consumption is quite low compare to other top branded ac's. Now the after sell service of this Hitachi ac is very good, they are very responsive to customers. I used this ac for 1 year and continuing but I have no issue with this ac. This is a value for money product. If you want to buy a good quality ac then go for this ac specially Hitachi.

Hitachi is one of the best brand from Japan, Its AC are really very good. Hitachi ACE 1.5 Ton split AC installation done by its own staff . Company gives 1 year warranty on product and 5 year warranty on compressor. Its 5 star rating makes it more wonderful which save electricity and electricity bills also.

Its Auto climate technology make it more powerful, likewise it have so many features like auto humid control system, auto fan speed, auto power save mode, auto restart, cool mode, dry mode and digiclock.

Hitachi ACE have filter clean Indicator which help to know when to clean. Its silent cooling feature provide good sleep.

It is revolution in Air conditioning. Hitachi RAU517ISD is very good to beat summer. It has 1490 W power input.

3.5 COP cooling capacity. It has AUTO CLEAN technology, auto humid control, 5 Fan speed. Noise level is 36 DB.

It also has MY CLEAN Facility. After 24 cumulative fan running hours, it automatically cleans the filter.

It has stainless steel plated filter. It is really designed for high performance. Its energy efficiency comes with 5 STAR rating.

The price in India is 44, 740 rupees only.

Good cooling in any temprature.

I also got very good staplizer 'commander' .

I very thankfull to hitachi company

That they make very good prodoct .

1.5 ton is good for homes.

This is not a air conditioner this is a cooler because I don't like this is air conditioner because the cooling capacity of this air conditioner is very low according to the other a condition in the market I didn't say that Hitachi is not good but this air conditioner didn't meet my Expectations because Hitachi is a flagship company in Air Conditioning market and if you expect from Hitachi a good product so you are wrong I have a two air conditioner one is Voltas and second is Hitachi Voltas is really good AC and it is a value for money and electricity consumption is good and good for middle class family but another side is Hitachi so if you want to invest your money for a better air conditioner so you have to go to Voltas and O General but the service of Hitachi is good if I say I whole review in one word this air conditioner is a crap

We had purchased the 1.5 ton split hitachi ac from the dealer name(Kholi brothers) but product is defective because ac cooling is very-very low as compare to other ac and also we have already raised the complaint in hitachi customer care but still we did not received the any single call,

I am repenting that why we had purchased said company product because they can only sale the product but no believe in quality as well as customer orientation,

I been experiencing very Pathetic service by Hitachi now-a-days. I have put up a complaint on around 25th March'17 and today is 19th April'17, I still have not got any one visited and/or have called to resolve/know the issue. I had to call three times to follow up on it and had to ask for Manager to come on line. The service they had done around 15th March’17, which was not at all satisfactory. Given them the call to update them. There is a back-color ribbon coming out of the indoor unit after the first service.

This Hitachi air conditioners is not functioning well, I purchased this AC about 2 years ago.the problem is that its cooling capacity is very low as much as I felt, it takes 10 to 15 minutes to adjust the setting.Remote control functions are very hard and we need to press many times to respond.It is not at all durable because it will give up after few years of its purchase.its not reliable.

It’s like, the more you shell out money, more features you get. However most required features are available in lower priced range as well. These air conditioner have an image in market, Buy Once and Forget It. However get the air conditioner timely serviced and enjoy its cooling for decades.

When it comes to cooling, they have got no match. To give a strong competition to brand like O’General, they have ensured to offer their customer features like Super Cool which gives instant cooling on demand. These AC’s starts at high RPM to quickly reach the desired temperature and with lower power consumption as well. Also its Direct Efficient Technology adjusts the compressor speed and refrigerant flow to maintain the desired temperature, this is the same technology which LG is offering with branding of INVERTER V.

HITACHI is renowned for immaculate performance and doesn't easily seize up for years.(advised by many air conditioning technicians that hitachi rarely develops a fault working in, compared to any other labels like LG, samsung, voltas, whirpool etc .)

but you might find them a bit steepy compared to other brands .

so, hitachi is much better make sure to buy a model with 5 star rating . it may cost a bit higher but in the longer run it will lead to smaller electric bills.

I bought 1.5 Ton auto clean model split AC about a year ago. The cooling effect is very poor. Air throw is very weak. Once switched on, it does not remember horizontal and vertical vent positions. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to adjust the settings every time. The auto clean light is always on. Remote control operations are very hard and we need to press multiple times to respond. Response is also very slow. By that time the vent position changes. Support service is very poor. You will not be able to speak to the customer service. Just register a ticket through web and they will send someone which is chargeable. Even if there is no real problem and the issue can be resolved over phone, we do not get the option. The visit is charged always. When the battery in the remote is changed, we need to press the reset hole with a pin. Else the remote will not work. We did not know this and thought remote failed. Serviceman came and pressed the reset button and collected Rs. 500. This could have been informed over phone.

Cooling is good and temperature control is also good.  Minimal sound.  However reliability/availability is poor on two counts.

Reason for poor reliability/availability

1)  The electrics are not rugged and therefore not suited for our power supply.  Even with staibiliser, the ac needed replacement of mother board 3 times in about 4 years.  Cost of motherboard about Rs. 20, 000/-.  After the 3rd failure disposed off the ac for Rs. 2000/-.  That's all I got because of poor resale value.

2)  The after sales service is very very very poor.  The after sales service provider of Hitachi in Kochi is seen to be a boorish lot bordering on gunda-gardi.  In addition they dirty the place on purpose even after reminding them.  Apparently they have poor control on their after-sales service providers.

Some more issues to be remembered - their Kochi company after sales office address listed on their website at least in 2016 was not correct - I had to really delve to get their address.  When I took up the issue of frequent failures, their response was interesting.  They said I had not taken AMC which is about Rs. 5000/year.  Very interesting, because I have 2 other AC makes operating comfortably without any AMC.  Then cost of motherboard is really high and they do not have any component level maintenance.  They only provide total replacement of motherboard even in Mumbai. One more factor to be considered, the remote is not user friendly.

Unfortunately on-the-whole Hitachi Inveter AC was a very bad personal experience.

Hitachi 1.5 Ton RAU019IVEA is not a wonderful product. its not far better than Samsung. Its cooling is average. Hitachi Air conditioner's service and support is very bad. cooling system is late and sound very hard. value of money cost is high. cooling system is 3 time late then samsung. mostly peoples I have ever seen are satisfied for this product. This is certified company as we all know & the service of the company is not good as samsung. you can buy it in you budget and I never recommended this AC to my Friends.????
