When you buy an AC don't get fooled by the product specs. It's very important to know who has good dealers, after sales service, good advisers on AC position, good in residential or commercial projects.


Daikin maybe good in commercial but in residential they are hopeless. Their dealers are sub standard, installers are of poor quality. In Bangalore never go with the dealer Lakshya Enterprises, they are cheats and have no background in the AC business.


Attached the mess they have created in my house while installing. Always go with a brand which has good after sales support and do not get fooled by product superiority.

I had bought a 1.5 ton Daikin split AC. It was under  warranty for 1 year.Just in 3 moths time it started giving problems. the cooling was not good.


I called up their service centre and after 2/3 reminders their person came and did something and told me that everything is fine now and I wont have any problems but the same problem continued. Every time I have to make a Complaint, I have to keep calling them up and be after them and they dont resolve the issue. The entire warranty period just went away in this manner and I am left with a defective product.


They dont render proper service and its a very frustrating experience.Very bad experience.

I purchased Daikin 1.5 Ton Split Inverter AC from Snapdeal. When I called Daikin customer care they tell me they dont have warranty for products bought online.


What the hell. Can you believe a product worth 50k and no warranty on any part for online buyers? Jago grahak. This company is fooling customer.


Its not no.1 company its worst no.1 company. PM me for more details. NEVER BUY DAIKIN PRODUCT ELSE SEE UR MONEY BURNING INTO ASH.

Never think of buying daikin A/C

I have purchased daikin a/c FTC50PRV16 from sargam electronics on 29/3/15.this a/c is facing cooling issue from day one.i have complained it after installation, there executive came and resolve the complaint and a/c was running fine.after 2-3 days problem occurs again I called the executive repeatedly for 2-3 days they came and found to be drain pipe leakage problem(at the time of installation they haven't fitted the drain pipe properly).again A/c works fine for almost 1 week and after 1 week again there is a problem of no cooling.after calling repeatedly for 4-5 days there executive came and blame us for internal pipeline blockage.after 2 days(4/5/15) in front of daikin executive I called the technician who had installed all internal pipe lines in my house.


He shows them there is no blockage in internal pipelines, now after checking each and everything they came into conclusion that A/C compressor i.e outdoor unit not working.They agreed to change the outdoor unit next day.Now I am calling each and every day repeatedly in response to my calls they say it will take time to issue new compressor from the workshop.In the whole process I am in touch with the area service manager of daikin Mr guptaJi ph no-8800295090 and Mr tyagi ji-9250000769.but these two persons always talk rudely they dnt know how to talk to customers.My friend from sargam electronics(adarsh nagar) from where I have purchased this a/c is also contacting and requesting these persons to resolve this problem as its almost 1.5 months but they dont pay any heed to requests.


Actually daikin dont have there technical back end for installation like all others A/c brands, they throw out bid to third parties who enjoy screwing customers.there after sales service is so pathetic that I am so much irritatiing that I want to sell of my brand new A/c and never think of buying daikin A/c in my dreams.These guys are most unprofessional people to handle the complaint.

Purchasing Daikin AC has trun out to be the worst experience that I ever had in buying any of the appliances and not only AC. Their after sales service is pathetic. I chose to ignore the various bad reviews I read about Daikin service on mouthshut and other forum and paying the price now so please don't ignore the reviews written by various people here, I can correlate very well now after going through all the harassment.


Before giving the details of my experience I would just give you simple pointers to confirm how bad is their customer service, you can confirm for yourself


1) Try calling customer care number 1800229300, you would be put in long waiting queue and after few minutes your waiting time can increase further.


2) They outsource installation to local service providers which they call'authorized channel partner'. These authorized channel partners are the most unskilled and unprofessional people in the world. The worst thing is, Daikin, their service team and installation team are all the different parties in the game. They would keep asking you to contact the other party to get your issue resolved with no responsibility.


3) The customer care has provided me the numbers 0120-4258250 as their service centre number in Noida, which refused to accept that its Daikin centre when I called up, unbelievable.


Here is my personal experience:


I have purchased Daikin dated 20th April 2015 from the dealer in Noida. The AC was installed through authorized channel partner.


Within few days of installation the problem developed with AC cooling and then it stopped cooling. I have launched the complaint regarding this with Daikin customer care, ref no. GZB150503754PI. The technician from Diakin visited me on 5th May evening and found the problem of gas leakage. As per him, it was the problem with installation and hence installation guys should resolve this. I have called installation guys from but he said this should be resolved by the Daikin service team and not the installation team. I let technician from Daikin and installation guy talk and resolve this. Both discussed and blamed each other for not doing their task properly in-front of me and refused to resolve it at their end. I being customer felt frustrated and harassed looking at the behavior from Daikin team overall as both refused to rectify the problem. Technician prepare the report, handed over to me and asked me to contact customer care.


I wrote the email with all the documents to Daikin customer care service, no reply as of now.


I also called Daikin customer care next day, they said they would resolve by talking to technician who visited me, but they couldn't contact him as his phone was switched off!


They asked some other technician would call me up in half an hour and would look into the matter. No call till two and half hours, I called back again to customer care. Again they said another technician would call me up, I refused to accept and asked them to transfer my call to some senior person. After keeping me waiting for around 20 mins, the executive said that installation team has been assigned now to resolve the issue. After a long discussion they put me on conference with the authorized channel partner from installation team who actually installed my AC. On asking wether it was the problem with installation or product, the guy bluntly replied "Its neither installation problem, nor product problem. Its a machine so problem can occur anytime" Can you believe it? Its not a local brand AC which would develop a problem within 10-12 days of purchase, but no one is ready to take responsibility. On top of it, my call was not transferred to the senior either stating that he is busy.


Is this the kind of service expected from Daikin which claims to be the world number 1 AC company? Even during installation, I faced lot of issues as the installation guys kept me waiting for hours from the time given and only visited the next day. From the installation experience and now the service experience within 14 days of AC purchase, my feedback for Daikin customer service is really poor. I am still waiting to get my issue resolved.


BEWARE OF DAIKIN, THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME.

Beware of buying Daikin Air Conditioners I brought 6 Daikin FTKD50FVM Split A/C From M/s Raj Electronics Sector-12 Dwarka New Delhi-110078. Daikin Company should not called them self Japanese they are wrest then Chinese Company.


They don't have there won technical staff or backup they are out sourcing the installation and after sales services through there channel partner like M/s Impulz Softwares  please don't let Impulz engineer touch your air conditioners they will deliberately make it short circuit or loose the bolt so gas will leek this review is written in public intrest Beware.

Till date I have purchased 4 daikin ac's . The cooling of machine is good and I was happy with the performance till the service part came in picture . One of my machine stopped cooling, still under warranty period I called on the company's helpline number, my call was put on waiting and the machine tells you your waiting no. and possible time you call might get attended .


That's the best part my waiting no. was 25, waiting time 5 minutes, after 2 minutes it changed to 18 then 15 .One more minute went through and I was caller no 29, the machine told that since the waiting time is more call back later and my call was disconnected .


I called you at least 7-8 times every time the same thing happened. Troubled I dropped a mail to customer care, received a mail and sms from them regarding the engineer who is going to attend my complain.


I called the engineer, surprisingly it was the number of dealer from whom I purchased my ac, they don't have customer service center in udaipur. I called the dealer and asked him to note down my complain .


4 days passed by and there was no response from the dealer or the company regarding my complain .


It was May month and you can expect the temperature in Rajasthan I got my machine fixed from a private service providers .


After 7 days I receive a sms from company saying that thank you for using our services, your feedback will be appreciated.


There is no call even for 1 free service which is provided by the company in the 1 st year of purchase .


I also have Panasonic ac and blue star . Panasonic provides 3 free services, at least they have courtesy to call and ask their customers about the services whenever due .


Blue star is new machine good cooling, yet to see their service part .


Daikin...brings people closer

Daikin was the first air conditioner of my home. Thereafter, we have become the loyal customer of it and now using it in all the rooms. The servicing is really good. The people are just one call away from us. The electricity consumption is also not  much and the room gets chilled in very less time.


It gives very relaxing and chilling feeling and it bring all the family comes together. At night we all sit together with daikin A.C on and share all our days talk and have nice time with each other.

First of all, all MNCs do good brand management so does Daikin.But product design to product quality to installation is so bad.one can't even think offff.


My tragic story with Daikin


DAIKIN does not have their own technical back end for installation like LG, BLUESTAR, SAMSUNG have their own.they throw out the bid to third parties who enjoy screwing customers a.ss.THEY CHARGED ME RS.4800 extra for the installation .more than 10% of the invoice price of 40K.

NO COPPER WIRE  for installation of outdoor unit is provided.NO BRACKETS FOR OUTDOOR UNITS INSTALLATION IS PROVIDED.so the technician adds up to the price of installation.ALL OTHER COMPANIES PROVIDE THE ABOVE MENTIONED ITEMS.


Tragic phase 1


I call the installation guy via the customer care, he sends me the guy promptly, I was quite happy to feel the briskness of the company, he lands at 8:30 pm in the night.


Tragic phase 2


After completion of installation at 1:30 pm in the night I.e total duration of 5 hours.the ac was installed .den I think it's installed.nd think of a sound sleep wth the ac switched on for the first time.WATER STARTS DRIPPING .I WAS SO PISSED OFF.


I CALLED UP THE WORK CONTROLLER OF THE CITY BRANCH, BUT THEY HUNG UP ON ME SAYING THEY WERE HAVING A AUDIT.


It is better Daikin does some good ground work here in India.Indian operations are not being overseen by the Japanese so INDIAN DNA has got into the product design, quality.


DAIKIN GUYS PLS PAY ATTENTION!


Best Air conditioner with under rated standards

This is my home air conditioner which has been installed during 2010 year, and still going strong. it has been repaired for twice in these 5 years of span but still worth of buying a daikin ac. normally air conditioners do get repairs not it doesn't matter to me, but what interesting is that the low maintenance cost of daikin.


Service from daikin guys is really appreciable they come to our home and gives us service at very low cost. the other thing that I have noticed is that though it has 1.5 ton capacity electricity consumption is bit less compared to other brands.(well I can guarantee that though my observations).


Its very compact in medium sized rooms, Noise level used to be low but recently it has increased. overall a decent and satisfied product. recommended 3/5.

Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced

I am one of the stupid customers who made the mistake of purchasing a Daikin product and am currently suffering because of that.


For the record, I purchased a Daikin split AC last year and it all started with the initial installation last year itself which should have given me a taste of things to come. The Daikin installation "experts" took their own sweet time to grace us with their presence and then took 2 full days(yes that is correct - 2 full days) to install the AC and still couldn't start it - as we realized to our peril it was an outsourced party which was under training and hence had no idea about the unit - later someone else came who managed to start it.


All this after drilling a bigger hole in the wall than required for the pipe). Still the 3rd day we found heaps of water dripping from the AC vent into the room(and on my laptop lying right under the vent). On calling the customer service again who took their own sweet time to send a guy we were told that the slope in the hole the Daikin team had drilled was on the wrong side and hence they made it a bigger hole now - making it an easy pathway for lizards and insects into the room - that was for the installation.(Ref SR # Dl2140712841 dated 19th Jul 2014)


Coming to the present, the current season we tried switching on the AC and it does not seem to work. I placed a call with the customer service last Friday(request # DL2150315582 placed on 27th Mar 9:06 am) for both AC problem as well as the free service and was told of a 24 hr closure SLA. Needless to say there was no response - we called back on 30th & 31st and were assured someone would come and close(some channel partner Rahul) who never turned up. On Wednesday, 1st April I called up the customer service again and, surprise surprise, I was told that the request has been serviced on 27th Mar itself by the said Rahul at 1 pm! So probably the customer service was playing an advanced April fool's joke on my on 30th and 31st.(How could a service request placed at 9:06 am be closed by 1 pm with the allocation and travel involved is a mystery to me). Since they couldn't re-activate the complaint, I re logged another complaint(SR # DL2150400925 logged on 1st April 7:42 pm assigned again to the said Channel Partner Rahul) referring to the previous number as well as complaint for false closure and was again assured of a 24 hr closure SLA. No prizes for guessing that nothing has come out as yet - probably the hours counted by Daikin are not earth hours but for us mere mortals, we don't have any other reference for time.


Please never even think of buying a Daikin product.

I have bought 1.5 ton inveter ac of daikin it was giving problem from the day it was installed I have called their dealer but they don'nt have time to send anyone after complaining on their customer support which has been 2  week now no progress I called them  atleast 10 times but no one has come I bought this ac bcoz of name of this company but its after sales is worst in the world never buy this ac .

Now that summer has started, you realize the importance of Air Conditioners. After a hectic day at college or work, all you need after returning home is cool and calm atmosphere. So otherwise I generally don’t end up using AC, after quite many days when I started using the AC it disappointed me. The cooling was very slow and so I called up the service center. They said the respective person will be sent by evening. However no one turned up.


The next day I again called them but to my disappointment the manager of the particular branch Shashank replied very rudely because I was calling repetitively. Post many attempts finally the person arrived after 2 days. He said there's some problem in the AC but doesn't have the appropriate instruments required for the repairing. I don't know why did he come then, what was he actually expecting? Had the AC been fine why will I call them? He said he will return tomorrow with the instruments and I knew he won't. The process of calling the service center started again.


Now I had 2 choice, either wait for the respective person to arrive or simply go my way because calling them wasn’t helping and summers are so heated up that it has become impossible to do without AC even for a day. So Finally I had to call a local electrician and had to pay 450 rs even after having 2 year guarantee.


Now writing review is the only way I can possibly make them think about the problem faced by their customers. Having said that, all I can say is don't go for Daikin AC. They should improve and teach their executives how to behave and that will surely improve their brand name in the market.

Yesterday I brought daikin ac thru flipkart. I raised a ticket yesterday for installation. Initially they told if we buy through flipkart warranty will not be covered.


I asked to send a letter saying they same.after that he told we will cover warranty. and I aksed the changes for installation they said 1500 / I asked to send yhe the technician. After few hrs technician called me and said the charges will be 3500. I aksed why he said that for drilling 350, wire connection 300.etc.


I wonder why daikin will follow standards for doing these. It is very pathetic.

I brought 3 Daikin Interter technology AC through Ms Cool World - Mumbai for my office in Vashi. They charged us 100% advance and from day one goofed up on the installation - delays, shoddy work, wrong specifications as to their requirements etc


Within 15 days of installation we had a problem with the cooling and one AC leaked. Now they have removed one AC and kept it on our office floor for 5 days now. There office is not responding to calls or attending to our issue.


I had purchased Daikin because most people told me it was a quality product. But then they should also be careful about trusting companies like Cool World with their brand and products.

I just bought an 1 TON inverter AC, 2 years back. for 40 K the AC was working fine .I was not even using it very frequently.  Suddenly one day, it stopped working. It was installed very perfectly and well serviced.  After a complaint, one service person visited and not able to identify the problem.


After 2 days another guy came, where he gave me a shock.  he said the outdoor board is faulty, which cannot be serviced. He quoted me a whooping 13 K to replace the entire PCB set.  Actually there is some small component which is faulty, which can be repaired.  Out of no use they are asking me to replace the entire control board which costing me 25% of the AC unit cost.


No a durable product. Not worth at all.

Daikan AC just works well for 6 months! It has got extremely poor after sales service. We have complained for its repair for the past one month complaint no Lko 140900296. Every time you call the customer support they say that they need to refill gas which is not available. Why sell when you can't provide after sales service which is hopeless.


NEVER BUY DAIKAN!
