MAJOR LEAKAGE IN COIL OF INDOOR UNIT

I purchased Daikin's split AC on OCT 2022 and it was working fine for almost a year and then I started facing cooling issues and raised a complaint for the same. Mechanic/Engineer checked the AC and informed me that there is a major leakage in AC's indoor unit and it would cost more than INR. 5000 to fix the issue and this will not be covered in the warenty.


Firstly I purchased Daikin's AC with word of mouth of my friends who use Daikin ACs and I was hoping to have a good experience in terms of quality of the product but I'm deeply saddened to know that the product has not withstood just 1.5 years of usage.


I had this issue intermittently and I informed my dealer to check but engineer never showed up.


Also from my experience and engineer's (who diagnosed this issue) advise when a leakage is arrested in an indoor unit, it would cause further more leakages in the coil causing replacement of coil.


When I reached the dealer or the service vendor I was told that warenty would not come into account if the issue has happened just 1 day post completion of warranty which is totally unacceptable.


I was also informed that this issue would happen in the places where chemical water is stagnant/flows by. But neither is the case in my scenario. Even one of the representative of dealership suggested me to use another product of Daikin if incase my home is surrounded by chemical water and this was never communicated to me by your sales representative during the time of purchase just in case.

Don't buy Daikin brand worst - you will get frustrated - I had purchased on 2021 - no cooling effect - coil leaking - inverter not working properly - I had spent around rs 10, 000/- .Now I had thrown away - beware of Daikin - Fraud & defective products - no technician solving issue only waste of money.

I have a 6 year old 3 ton Diakin unit. The coil started leaking and it needs to be replaced. Under warranty but labor and recharge system will cost me over $1000. Stay away from Daikin air conditioners.

I bought an Daikin AC thinking Japanese best brand from after installation from day 2 issues were started in that AC.Quality of the product is very worst.Higly not recommended to buy Daikin AC.i will never ever recommend any of my friends to this AC.totally frustrated due to this AC.

1 ton FTKF is best fit for my study room and my needs. My study room is the most occupied and utilised room in my entire house. It is used by me and mostly by kids in the house. So I wanted an AC which can run all day and consumes less electricity. And also since my room is on top floor so I wanted my AC to chill my room fast.And with this purchase I found all my wishes bundled in one box.I am happy with this purchase.

Warranty they are offering is like a cheating with the customers, as they are charging visit charges to attend the complaint of Faulty product which was purchased approx 15 months back only n facing issue in outdoor units n now they are harrassing to provide proper service for the faults , which seems there are Misleading the customers.

I purchased 4 ACs in Jan 20 and installed them about 6 months later. I use 2 ACs regularly and 2 ACs rarely.


1 AC out of rarely used, I used for a week in Aug 23 and found its not cooling. I called Daikin Technician, after checking, he confirmed that the PCB is defective. He also told that had you purchased after Sep 20, it would have been covered under Guarantee.


This was strange . I had purchased only 3 1/2 half year ago, and the AC with almost no use, got a defective PCB. Company is charging Rs 7000/- for its replacement.


The quality of product is extremely poor, will not recommend Daikin to known persons. They command a premium in products and don't supply commensurate product.


Overpriced malfunctioning ACs. Worst Service.

Daikin ACs are some of the most expensive YET are some of the worst-performing ACs with the worst customer service I've ever seen. Long story short: If you want a high-class/expensive AC, go for something like O'General, or even something less expensive like Panasonic. They have much better ACs and customer service than Daikin.


Following are the drawbacks of getting a Daikin AC(which I have faced personally):


1. Obviously overpriced(not really a con but if you're paying so much then you should get an equally good product).


2. Daikin requires that before buying an AC from them, you must consult their executives who will come to your house(at a cost of Rs 590), look at your room where the AC is to be installed, and tell you whether they will install the AC of your choice in your room or not, depending on the size of the room. If you have somehow bought a Daikin AC(like on Amazon or elsewhere) without first consulting their executives, they will refuse to install it in your home if they think that the AC's tonnage is not fit for the size of your room, and you'll be left to install in on your own and that too without any warrantee. This is the only AC manufacturing company that does this, as far as I know.


3. Frequently malfunctioning ACs: I've had older window ACs which have lesser malfunctioning frequency than the split ACs from Daikin. Every summer, the cooling gas leaks and you have to get it refilled for a good Rs 3, 000.


4. Pathetic remote controls: Daikin ACs' remote control is so bad that its quality is that of a toy. The remote doesn't work unless you're pointing it directly in front of the AC, and you also have to press the buttons REALLY hard for them to function properly. This is a pain especially at night when you need to get up and change the temperature.


5. Pathetic customer service: I could have ignored all the above points had the customer service not been SO bad. Daikin has only 1 official service center in all of South Delhi(and service centers that are elsewhere in Delhi refuse to come to your house for servicing), and they have executives who simply come to your house and charge Rs 590 per visit, and still don't give you a solution to you in case your AC is not functioning properly. I have had better luck calling private AC servicing centers than Daikin's "official" service centers. On top of it, many of the executives sometimes tell you that the AC's cooling gas needs refilling, and you pay Rs 3000 for the same, but the problem persists because the executive actually just wants to make money from you and isn't really interested in resolving your issue.

Please don’t buy Daikin AC. there is a big Scam working there. I purchased the AC in 2022 and after 1 years in the month of July 2023, my ac stopped working and customer care was told mi no warranty for any electronic parts.


AC compressor was not working properly & company technician was told mi AC PCB also take replaced. Means (35, 000/- ac cost & after 1 year maintenance cost 15, 000/-) this is very bad product

Please don't buy Daikin AC. I believe there is a big Scam working there. I purchased the AC in 2020 and after 3 years in the month of April 2023, my ac stopped working and I was told there is no warranty for my PCB and I was asked to pay RS.8000/- and I replaced it.. To my shock, after 3 months , again in the month of June, the same problem of not cooling.


Please don't buy AC from Daikin. They may be an international brand, but the products being in India is WASTE.

Hi..i bought 4 a.c of your company 4 years back..you guys have the worst customer service.


I am a pregnant woman staying on top floor with the non working a.c in this severe heat.


From past 5 days i am unable to sleep or function properly due to all the heat..after numerous complaints at your shivalik enterprises customer care company every time they send new faces claiming different faults with the a.c


First team told us that problem is with pcb


Swcond team came to change pcb but it did not work and sent 3rd team which told us tgere is issue of wiring.


Such incompatible ppl u have kept they dont even know what is the prob.


Now the 4th team came with only wire claiming that first we will check wire then if it doesnt work we will get new pcb.


Is my house an orpganage or something which is open to all at all times? Especially in covid times.


Dont we have any job or work to do that u ppl will keep on coming whenever u guys wish to.


This is going on from a week..and on top of that when i finally told ur 4th team that i will put a complaint on social media they are saying do it..as if they already know nothing is going to happen to them..


I am politely sending u msg here first..so that u can act on it and do the needful..kindly donot force me to put this openly on insta and twitter by tagging u guys everywhere.i am giving u today's time to sort this out...my due date is near and i am suffering from all this tension.

Daikin Split AC- POOR PRODUCT AND PATHETIC SERVICE

So far the worst split AC I have used. The build quality is extremely poor. Bought a split AC in March 2023 and it has conked off 4times in 3 months.


The machine keeps on malfunctioning with same fault everytime. After 3rd consecutive fault, when I insisted Daikin for replacing the defective product, they refused and kept on insisting for repair, just to escape the warranty period somehow. This is really surprising.


Had heard stories about poor service of Daikin, but now have experienced it myself.


Needless to mention that each time when the technician visited, they completely ripped the machine apart, opened up both the outdoor and indoor unit and loosened all piping joints. I think not even a single joint has been spared. A brand new machine has seen so much wear and tear due to these repetitive futile repair attempts.


It has been a horrific experience for us with a horrible product. Never buy a Daikin prod
